We have a small, 4 acre spot in the country, surrounded by farmland and woodland, and it adjoins hundreds of acres of state land and private property that both allow for hiking, nature walks, bird spotting, biking, and quiet. We're close to Letchworth State Park, quaint country villages, Darien Lake, and we're 40 minutes from Buffalo and Rochester. We have a large tent available, and space for RVs and campers.
We've made some small upgrades - an air mattress, new woodstove, and an outhouse. We'll be updating pictures soon. If you have questions, let us know.

The feeling of peace is about 1 mile off the road. Pulling into Apple Cove you'll see we've cleared areas for tents and small van style RVs. There is an individual fire pit for each camper, a small rock bottom creek runs through the 15 acres for a nice, relaxing view of the woods. The kids and I set up a swing set, and a spot by the creek to play and splash. Now, New York is a 420 friendly state. Enjoy yourself but please be respectful of others

Located on a small homestead farm with free range chickens, ducks, cantankerous geese, as well as dwarf goats, honey bees and a blind dog--so please drive slowly. Jennifer’s place was lovely and peaceful. Staying in the Gumdrop Junction a-frame was cute and private. There are two other A-frames nearby but you can’t hear anything. It’s a very natural site, no running water or WiFi etc (which is stated in the description), but it is well- equipped with a cooking station with gas burners, cooking implements and pots/pans/teapot. Bottled water is provided. Porta potties were maintained but older and there were some floor and ceiling damage.
Mowed paths help you move between parking, cooking/trash/bathrooms and meditation garden to the A-frame. There is a wagon to move belongings and firewood.
Jennifer gave lots of details and was quick to reply to messages, tho our phone service was spotty. We saw a number of Amish families pass by on the horse carts, and in neighboring Village of Angelica. Filled with cute antique shops but sadly no lunch place. Coffee can be had at one of the antique shops if pressed. Otherwise the nearest restaurants are 12-30 minutes away. Come prepared!

One of the best experiences I’ve had at a hip camp! Injured my knee while I was here and the land owners were more than accommodating! The site is level and nice, the area is quiet and beautiful! Randy provided several recommendations for local activities and even took me around town and out for ice cream! Highly recommend!

Emily’s place was awesome! It was quiet, beautifully maintained and scenic with a corn field growing across the gravel road. The lean-to was brilliant! So enjoyed sitting and gazing out at the farm. The outhouse was clean and so well laid out. Easy entrance to Letchworth Park. Truly a stellar base camp! Highly recommend!

Site #26 is beautiful and the views of the lake and the nesting bald eagle across the water will stay with us forever. There are geese that are also frequently on the site, so there was a lot of poop to deal with and the lodge on the map next to the site isn't actually functional. The basement door is permanently ajar and the alarm beeps are easy to ignore but also constant. A few small fixes would turn it into a yearly repeat for sure
