We had a great time! It's a beautiful location, especially in the fall. The tent kept out the little bit of bad weather we had. Plenty of area for nature walks/hikes and so quiet! Perfect place for a quiet getaway.

Me and my friend went here for a couple nights with our pups and absolutely loved it. The space was tucked away with a creek running along the back of the site, very peaceful. There were hundreds of fireflies at night and the stars were out which made for a beautiful night. Scott was very helpful and accommodating as well. Would highly recommend!

Staying in this tent was such a treat! The wood stove is dreamy and Scott was very nice, welcoming, and helpful. There were plenty of places to walk around and explore nearby which my dog and I appreciated. The bathroom tent is a great touch!

This is a beautiful campsite. Close to everything but also private. Perfect for a couple or a group of friends. The tent and cots were nice and everything was very comfortable. The camp toilet setup is great too. Scott also left us wood for the fire pit which we really appreciated.I would definitely come back and/or recommend this site.

I loved camping on Scott’s land! He was super helpful with everything we asked, providing a video for check in and even an extra cot. I would gladly stay there again and recommend this to anyone considering. (P.S. the fireflies at night are indescribable)

Location, location, location! Scott's canvas bell tent is situated in a woodsy area bordering a meadow. A babbling brook runs directly behind the tent and purple wildflowers were in abundance everywhere at the time of our stay in late May. We spotted or spooked a several deer in said meadow and were graced with a full choir of songbirds each morning. It was absolutely ethereal.
Scott proved to be very friendly, helpful, and communicative. There was nothing inquired about that we did not receive a prompt response or solution for. We would not hesitate to book this campsite again!
Overall, a fabulous first Hipcamp experience!

Scott was amazing the entire stay from beginning to end we payed for 3 bundles of wood but he let us use whatever we needed, even went and got a firepit ring so we could have a fire at our camp. So peaceful and quiet and let me say almost zero light pollution at his property the stars at night were the most I have ever seen in a long while. Would highly recommend to anyone to stay here.

My girlfriend and I recently started a YouTube channel to document our camping/overlanding adventures, upon finding this site we immediately knew it’d make an awesome video.
What we did not know, was how pleasant our stay would be. The land itself is beautiful, we chose to stay in the hot tent in a secluded section of woods.
The owner/host, Scott, was honestly the best booking-app host I have ever encountered. This was our first time using hipcamp and Scott made sure we had an amazing experience! We ended up using our air mattress, but were offered cots with sleeping mats. One $5 wood bundle helped us get through the 30 degree night with no problems and to make it even better, Scott left us some fire starters and a grill lighter.
Definitely will be booking this site again in the future! Highly recommend!

Excellent arrangements. Exactly what I was looking for. Rustic setting. Plenty of hiking! Adjacent to public lands. Hunting ability was key! Tent was exactly what I needed. Wood stove. Old desk and chair to read, write. Even suppled a military cot with foam pads, so I didn’t need my air mattress! Quiet. Out of sight of the road. Occasional how of the distant locomotive. Oh, and the sight of nesting pair of eagles was a bonus!
