Two hours from NYC, close to skiing (hunter mountain/ Windham , Kaaterskill falls, Woodstock, Hudson, Saugerties. FAQ Is my rental secluded? Our property is 8 acres, exactly the same as seven football fields. From your private deck and the big window, you will not see any other houses as far as eyes can see. We added fence panels to make it even more private. We have attached a satellite picture of the property to give you a better idea. As required by zoning law, there is a larger cabin on the property. But it is far enough and visually isolated enough that you won't feel it's presence (at least from the feedback we got from other guests.) We are located in a rural hamlet and a mile down the road there is a tiny town with two cafes , two bars and two restaurants. But your place is one New York block distance away from the street towards tree filled uninhabited area, adding to the sense of seclusion. I have never been in a tiny house, what can I expect? The "tiny house nation" style tiny houses are around 144 to 250 sqft, ours is 144 sqft. So,we are on the "smaller" side. Our guests have commented that its actually does not feel cramped. You will have heating, AC, hot shower, flushing toilet, kitchenette for basic cooking, small fridge, queen bed etc. You also have a private deck and a private outdoor fireplace to make S'mores and to grill. Are pets allowed? We just require that they should never be left alone and peace pick up after them. Our cleaning company charges a pet fee. If you forgot to pay it or decided to bring a pet last minute, please leave the amount as a tip to the cleaners. That way the cleaners get to keep the money and then they won't report the pet to the cleaning company. This also saves us the hassle of going back and forth with the cleaning company, reviewing the camera footage and ultimately paying it out of our own pockets. Also, please keep in mind that the house is really small at 144 sqft which may be too cramped for some large dogs. I work from home, how is the WiFi? We have had multiple guests who worked from home during the pandemic. Our provider is spectrum (the monopoly in the area). Luckily, outages are very rare and get fixed promptly (you may have to restart the router). Speed is always good for multiple simultaneous video calls and movie streaming. Do you provide firewood? Not yet! You do not need firewood to heat the house. If you want to use the outdoor fireplace, look for 'Campwood' signs and buy from our neighbors.(Also @ Walmart, Stewart gas stations etc.) What about Towels-Soap-Linens-Hot water? Is there heating/cooling? Can we cook? Yes! Yes! Yes! and Yes!. Think of all the amenities a hotel provides plus a tiny kitchen. Hot plate, refrigerator, electric kettle, drip coffee, plates, cutlery - we have all that we could cram into the tiny space. Our guests use the outdoor fireplace for BBQ and smores! Can I check in early? or Check out late? No and Yes. Due to the super strict covid19 cleaning process, we can no longer offer early check in. However, we can offer late checkout up to an hour. Please inform us in advance so that the cleaning crew can adjust accordingly.

Had a lovely stay in the tiny house. The Wood stove was super warm. Pretty Mountain View’s from the porch and was fun cooking dinner outside. A nice getaway space. Make sure to have 4x4 wheel drive because the driveway is steep at the top.

Such a cute and cozy place to stay. The dogs enjoyed running around the property off-leash and my boyfriend and I loved the outdoor space. A bit rainy for us to use the projector outside, but we enjoyed movie night on the projector screen located inside the home. 10/10 stay, just wish we'd booked for a longer stay!

We had the best stay at Alessandro’s cabin! The place was spotless and had everything we needed for a peaceful getaway in the Catskills. Alessandro met us when we arrived and explained everything clearly. The cabin is in a beautiful, quiet spot but still just a short drive to downtown Andes. We enjoyed the Andes Diner for breakfast. We loved the outdoor shower and the relaxing vibe all around.

I loved staying at this wonderful Hipcamp location, nestled in the heart of the Catskills! We enjoyed the outdoor movie projector under the stars while sitting in the relaxing hot tub, having a beer. The sauna was also a lovely place to unwind after a day of exploring. The tiny home was well-stocked and we didn't need a thing. The host had everything outlined and easy to access. Near lots of cool hikes and charming Andes downtown. Alessandro made sure we had grilling supplies and drinking water. Outdoor shower was amazing- sun ray on your body. Alessandro’s house is up the road but overall super quiet.

4 nights at The “Little Dipper” Cozy Cabin

My wife and I had a blast staying at the little dipper! The dog Bell, all the chickens and just the peace and quiet. My wife and I are also not huge on intermingling with people and Pete and his wife were very respectful of how I am hahaha I would definitely go back. It's a beautiful spot!

Weekend Trip to New Tiny Home Sauna Hot Tub Theatre

What a beautiful stay! We arrived to an amazingly kept tiny home with everything ready to use on the perfect layout of land. The hot tub was one of the best parts, as was the cauldron fire pit and projector! Having cookware, coffee machine and a kitchen made our stay even more enjoyable. The bathroom was gorgeous, but everything in total was great! We will definitely be back again, maybe on the motorcycles to enjoy more of the beautiful back roads! Thank you so much! Absolutely spreading the word on this gorgeous, relaxing mountain stay!

3 nights at Andes Off-Grid Glamping Cabin

We had a great stay at Alessandro’s cabin! Everything was clean and comfortable, with all necessities anticipated. We enjoyed grilling, a campfire, and the outdoor shower (it gets plenty hot). The incinerator toilet was convenient and easy to use. The beautiful property was quiet and secluded but close in proximity to plenty of outdoor activities. The town of Andes was great, we especially enjoyed Cafe Mutsi.

This cabin is a perfect getaway from the busy everyday life. Has all the comforts needed and having no cell service was a blessing. Great way to unplug from the world. Will definitely like to spend another weekend there.

Weekend Trip to Andes Off-Grid Glamping Cabin

My Husband and I came to this cabin for my birthday weekend and we had a great time! The cabin was beautiful and well maintained. The wood stove inside was great for keeping us warm on the chilly nights. Also, the windows inside open which is good if you need some fresh air. It truly is 'off-the-grid' as there is no cell service but sometimes that's a good thing when you are trying to disconnect from your worries. The location is close to a lot of hiking trails if you are interested in getting out into nature. Alessandro was a kind, welcoming and accommodating host, it was great getting to meet him. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone!

My fiancee & I spent an incredible weekend at Alessandro's cabin. The cabin itself was stunning, comfortable, & well cared-for & meticulously maintained. The location was beautiful & secluded yet easy to get to. From there it's easy to get to all of your favorite Catskills hotspots (we hiked to the Balsam Lake Mountain Fire Tower). Alessandro was a gracious & thoughtful host. Highly recommend!
