Each RV site includes a picnic table, fire ring, 30 or 50-amp electrical service, and sewer. We have deluxe patio sites and some rustic cabins too! Friendly people are waiting by the phone to tell you about our amazing activities, and an atmosphere that all campers will take to heart.

HORSES WELCOME! Why not run your horse on the beach, then come to our campsites to relax for the rest of your day. There is a fenced pasture positioned next to the sites so you can see your faithful friend enjoying some grass or hay. We have a new Zinger 29' trailer set up with a bunk room and another bedroom, full kitchen and bathroom. It can easily sleep six people. If you have your own RV, we have a full hook up at the same area. The pasture where your horse stays will also have hay, water and shelter with a run-in. This is a sanctuary for our animals. We have nine animals here, four horses (some minnies) and five donkeys (some minnies). By staying here, you will be helping us to support our animals. We are in Frankford, De which is close to all the beaches and parks. There are many shopping adventures awaiting you, either outlets or upcycle stores. If you just want to relax, there is a small pond out back stocked with bass and turtles. We have 17+ acres but we only use the front five acres and leave the rest for the deer, foxes, eagles, hawks and whatever else shows up. We believe this is Heaven on earth and would love to share it will you. So please come, stay at our farm and relax. We are here year round.

Andrea and Michael were very friendly, authentic, down-to-earth people who welcomed me like I was an old friend. I was able to purchase farm fresh eggs, which were amazing! Interacting with the animals was both enjoyable and educational. Michael shared his animal knowledge and answered all of my questions. I felt renewed and experienced peace during my stay here. Instead of Spacious Skies it should be Spacious Sites. We were impressed with the size and tranquility. Everyone was friendly and pleasant. We were in need of a dog bone for the electric and the office quickly furnished us a loaner. Thank you for going above and beyond.. We highly recommend this location

As soon as we arrived at Why not Acres, Marian had the red carpet rolled out for us. We arrived after dark and late so she ensured that a light was on at our site. The site was clean, flat, large, and a full hookup. It had a seating area with Adirondack chairs, fire ring, picnic table, charcoal grill with charcoal and lighter fluid, and FREE pre-cut firewood. It was exactly as advertised. Both Marian and her husband were so kind and welcoming. They provided suggestions for firework displays and water parks. It was very relaxing. The kids loved seeing the frogs. Why not Acres is close to multiple beaches and restaurants without the huge price tag. We loved our stay!

Andrea is a great host! Super clean bathroom and a really nice shower too.
The whole farm is very nice and we suggest the sites with no services if you want to stay longer that us because de 50 Amp site is very close to the road and on the side of the chicken barn that will wake you up a 5 am.
The other site have share and are well placed.

This wa sour second stay at Why Not Acres and we had a 10/10 stay both times. Marian Mike are two of the nicest ppl in the world! Their farmette is lovingly cared for and it shows. If you are camping with an RV they have everything you need for a great experience: a charcoal grill WITH the charcoal, a lighter and starter. A campfire ring with stacks and stacks of firewood along either the kindling. Full hookups and a perfectly level parking pad. A deck with a picnic table AND umbrella.
They have a pond on property where our five year old grandson learned to cast and then caught a fish: thrilling! The rescue miniature horses, donkeys and burros are so tame and friendly.
The sites are very quiet and the beaches are very convenient. We love it there and cannot wait to return!

What a lovely farm with wonderful people. We had a very peaceful stay and enjoying seeing the animals and gardens. It is an amazing space. The rooster was not even too loud lol. Nice location for exploring too. Would definitely stay again!

Fantastic campground with outstanding staff! Helpful, friendly & and there great activities planned for the regular campers.
What really stood out was their constant communication with all campers. I.e. we were out sightseeing & I received several texts regarding bad weather from them.
During our brief stay, we were able to visit in the office & ask about location recommendations & the staff were easy going & enjoyable to visit with.
The campground has nice yards with many seasonal campers on the property. The sites offer FHU.
If we have the opportunity to return to this area, I would definitely request to stay again.
