Want to be close to Long Beach Island (LBI) without the crowds? You've found the place! Our lot is 1.22 acres only several miles away from LBI, New Jersey. The owner-occupied residence is tucked away from the road with only one neighbor in sight.
We live in a 1987 geodesic dome home on the property. Additionally, our self-converted 2002 International Blue Bird school bus is parked here. There is plenty of room for you to park in the circle driveway or to the left of the dome.
Enjoy our large, fenced backyard with plenty of room for activities. Camp in a backyard in a quiet area with a barn and horses nearby. Site 1 has water hookup and a 30 amp and 110 outlet available. Site 2 has water access and a 110 outlet available. Site 3 is for tent camping only and is more secluded. It does have water access available. These sites are a great spot to watch the sunset or watch the stars at night. These all are self contained camping spots. I do have two very friendly dogs that will most likely come say hi to you. Dewey Beer is 1 mile away in Harbeson. Lewes beach is only about 10 minutes away and Rehoboth beach is about 20 minutes away. Sports at the beach is only 5 miles away. Tanger outlets is 8 miles away. Delaware Turf sports complex is 24 miles. There are many great restaurants and shopping nearby. Feel free to ask for recommendations!

Our horse farm is located in one of the most rural areas of Southern New Jersey. This land was once occupied by The Lanape Tribe. The adjacent creek was named after Chief Alloway. Artifacts of Native Americans have been found alongside this brackish water creek. This farm was for many years a dairy farm which was passed on for 3 generations until the late 80's.
Our main horse breeds are 5 Arabians followed by 2 Thoroughbreds and 2 miniature ponies. In addition to horses you will see free range rabbits, chickens and beautiful cows.
There are many antique shops in this area which tell the rich History of Southern NJ. Cowen mall and Royal Port are my two favorites.
Another must see experience (at least once) in the area is The Cowtown Rodeo, one of the first and oldest in the country, only 14 minutes drive.
Cool and brand new Brewery opening up soon right across the rd from Cowtown and right next to The best Cowboy outfitter.

Loredana is a warm and welcoming host. The cabin and her land is very well maintained, and she checked on me often enough to ensure that I was comfortable and entertained. As a solo traveler, I also felt safe staying with her. 10 out of 10 was my experience and I would like to stay again.

What a fabulous time it was on this farm. I went in December so it was a bit cold. The owner was was very kind. She had already put a space heater in there and warms it up for me. If you don't like the cold then do not go in the cooler months but you ABSOLUTELY should go in the 3 other seasons. I loved meeting the horses and waking up to the sounds of a rooster. On the way out to this farm I saw a few other farms. I saw the biggest bald eagle I've ever seen in my life as well as peacocks. All this in NJ. This was an amazing experience.

We enjoyed our campsite with the kitties. Highly recommend! Kimberly was very friendly, welcoming, and has a great heart for her feline friends. Our spot was super peaceful. It was fun hanging with the cats on the property.

Great, easily accessible place. Dog friendly a huge plus with fenced area to roam. Host is very friendly and checked in during our stay how we were doing. Highly recommended if you are in the area! Cabin even in fall/winter has space heater and holds heat well.

This was one the most fun experiences I have had camping. The kitties come to greet you and relax with you as you camp. They all had such a chill personality which kept us in the same. We very much enjoyed our stay.
Kimberly is so nice. We shared wonderful conversation and laughs.
I hope to find another opportunity to stay at Kamping with the Kitties in the future.

We loved the island and La Mar was an amazing host. 5 of us spent a weekend on the island. If you have no experience canoeing, be prepared. Being from NYC, we are inexperienced and it took us an hour to row the mile to the island against the tide. if you can get your own power boat to take you there, it will make life a whole lot easier. definitely a challenge, but it was amazing once we made it. The island is relaxing for a weekend. You also get to do some fishing, though we didn't have much luck in October. also - low tide is really low tide. don't plan on going out until the tide comes in a bit. I would recommend taking lots of firewood and a portable toilet.
I can't say enough about how communicative and accommodating La Mar is. We're already talking about our next trip.

We absolutely love camping here. We just stayed for our third time. What a lovely horse farm and it's so nice to be able to walk our dog off leash. The farm dogs are very friendly and love to come over and be petted and hang out for a spell. Best part of this site for us is the fact that it's less than 8 mi from our house so it's a convenient getaway.

We had such a GREAT TIME at Great Times Camp! Bathrooms and parking are a short walk away from the cabins. The camp is private and quiet with plenty of room for our large group. Will was helpful and prompt with answering any questions. We will definitely be back!
