When we first purchased our property, we were made aware of a young fella needing a spot to set up his yurt. He lived with us for two years before moving along. We had enjoyed having him and his yurt on our land so when he left, It left a virtual and metaphorical hole. A couple years later we had an opportunity to purchase a yurt from an outdoor adventure company and so it began. We improved upon our tenant's idea by adding a proper outhouse and outdoor shower area. The space offered us a quiet haven during hectic times and now we are ready to share that opportunity. Our yurt sits on a quiet and private nook on our 7 acre property. We are right in between Kennebunk and Biddeford so there are quite a number of areas to explore if you make us your home base. It is a lovely 6 mile ride to Goose Rocks Beach or you can spend an afternoon walking around Dock's Square in Kennebunkport. Biddeford is a rapidly rebuilding mill town that has made several high profile food and travel publications for its great dining spots. If you are visiting to get away from the city, we are less than a mile away from the Eastern Trail which connects South Portland to Kittery, ME. Bring a bike or plan a quiet walk. We loved camping at the site. The amenities were excellent, and the hot tub was super clean. Overall, the experience was 5 stars. This is in no way to denigrate or take away from the positive review. This is only a suggestion moving forward. When we arrived, we were informed that we were unable to use the fire pit because there was a statewide ban due to a drought in New Hampshire. This is no way the problem of the owner of the site. It is out of their control. However, it would have been nice to know upon booking as doing a campfire is an integral part of the camping experience. The site still receives 5 stars :) -Flynn

We love this camp site! It literally has everything you would need! Morning coffee on the deck in the Adirondack chairs is the most peaceful and best way to start the day. We love taking the boats out on the lake and taking a dip in the hot tub. This was our third time going to this site and we are looking forward to coming back in the future!

The idyllic location for being in nature. The yurt was wonderfully set up. We enjoyed hot tea each night. The property is close to amenities while feeling removed from the hustle and bustle of it all. Despite the cold we enjoyed an outdoor shower. The property is near a trail to take in all the changing leaves. The hosts were so kind and thoughtful and provided spot on recommendations. We are so grateful!

YURT=YES! We arrived to a wonderful oasis, greated by wild turkeys and a beautifully maintained home away from home! My mother and I went skydiving 8 minutes away for my birthday, and this is the perfect place to unwind and experience a wonderful mix of amenities and privacy. I could not have asked for a better birthday. Thank you to the wonderful hosts, who respond instantly and made our stay memorable for entertiny!

This is a great camping spot. The nearby waterfall provides a constant blanket of sound that insulates you from the outside world so it feels very isolated without being "in the middle of nowhere". It is well equipped with everything you could need (except food & clothes) and the host provides lots of info about local things to do.

This was the first time we’ve stayed in a yurt, didn’t know what to expect. The place was very clean and welcoming. We got there after dark and found it fairly well with the little lanterns and the lights on when we arrived. On the night we were there - we heard a pair of Great-horned owls (according to the bird app) in trees close by- very cool and unexpected. We also woke up to rain sounding on the canvas - making it a very relaxing morning.

Certainly better accommodations than expected. The tent site was private and had all the essentials you could need. Just bring your fishing rod, a meal, and your favorite drink. Our children loved “living” on the tent site for the weekend. They are already asking the next time we can go. Thank you for a perfect weekend to bid farewell to summer.

This spot was so cute! The teeny house where I stayed with my dogs was great and had updates from what is seen in the listing. I was surprised that there were like no bugs, didn’t have to spray the site at all. They aren’t kidding about it being “teeny” though- you can’t open the door all the way to get in haha but it was great otherwise!

This was a unique and fun experience! I think the Horse Trailer is the Best Option! Just enough space for 2 people and 2 dogs. Waking up you have a front view of the picture perfect water view. Bond fire available and grill. Two swinging tree chairs were very comfy and a great place to sit down with a morning coffee and see the natural beauty around you. From kayaks, to hot tub, to hiking, so much to do! The owner and manager was super helpful and friendly. Defiantly would come back!

We loved the teeny tiny house, it was so cute. It was great to wake up and have coffee right on the water especially being able to paddle around on our personal rowboat. It had everything we needed. The bed is a little firm so bring extra blankets if that's not your thing, but we were comfortable. The amenities were affordably priced and everyone there was so friendly.

Such a magical spot! The yurt was perfectly cozy for our family of four. After tent camping, staying in the yurt provided all the luxuries we were ready for while still feeling close to the woods. The sink and hot plate made dinner easy! The outdoor shower was warm and wonderful and the outhouse was the cleanest I’ve experienced. The owls were our favorite part of the stay! We snuggled up with the kids and listened to them call back and forth to each other. It sounded like they were right outside the yurt. So amazing! We would definitely stay again.
