I wanted a cabin in the woods forever and my boys built me this awesome cabin! Drive down in good weather (SUV), walk or snowshoe in winter, about 3-400 yards. Beautiful, DRY {No running water}, no electricity cabin. Called "Unplugged" for several reasons: No electricity, No internet and most phones don't work! Bring books! 16 x 20 with a loft with stairs. Queen bed in loft and futon downstairs. Has an outhouse. Stocked with basics for cooking on regular size grill, small grill and 2 burner camp stove. Cabin is well insulated, uses a Big Buddy heater for heat in winter.

You must hike to the cabin (1/4 mile hike, down hill which means there is a slight climb to get back to your car) So pack light. We close our gate to the farm after 6pm to limit traffic through the farm so come prepared for a campfire cooked dinner and plan to relax.

Browns Ridge Family Farm!

Our house built in 1750s and at one point had hundreds of acres passed down which were passed down from a kings grant The original area was named after the original settlers, the Browns. Our house was also tavern in the beginning. This property has only passed hands through 4 families and remained with the Browns for most of its life. It has stayed as a farm for most of its tenure. We own 40 acres of pasture and woods and would love for you to come stay!
