Come enjoy peace and quiet in the beautiful meadows near our home. We are located on 40 acres that include forested trails, a large pond, two small ponds, a creek, and frequent wildlife as well as spectacular stargazing at night. All sites have a campfire ring and picnic table. We provide a unique eco-camping experience in contrast to the crowded campground/RV park, and we are only 6 miles away from the entrance to Glacier National Park! Please let us know if you have multiple tents or vehicles as some sites may be a better choice for you than others. No hookups are provided – dry camping only. Parking for larger vehicles/trailers is available at sites 1-6 - an open, flat meadow with the pond on the other side of the road. Tents are welcome in all sites; although, we recommend the back meadow sites (7 and up) for more secluded tent campers (especially in July) as it has less traffic and more privacy. Sites 7-20 (the back meadow sites) have parking for vehicles 26' or less in total length. All sites have access to vault toilets, and all sites are back-in sites with partial shade. Because of the proximity to Glacier National Park and the main HWY, traffic noise and train noise can be heard at the campsites. Visitors are ask to keep their speed to a minimum to reduce dust on the dirt on Greens Road. We are just a short bike ride away (two minutes by car) from attractions such as the Whiskey Barn, The Paul Bunyan Bar & grill, Glacier Hi-Line Ropes Course, and the Amazing Fun Center, maze, and mini golf. It is also easy access to the Gateway to Glacier Bike path. E-bike rentals are across the street from us. Closest Gas station is the Cenex in Coram (1.5 mi away). Closest public (free) landfill dump is 2.2 miles toward Columbia Falls at 9626 Us HWY 2 E. Near Paul Bunyan Bar and Grill (which is also a good restaurant near us). Look for the gated entry and small sign marking Flathead Landfill. Closest grocery is in Hungry Horse at Canyon Foods Grocery (3.5 miles away). There is a laundromat next to this grocery store. Closest dump and water fill up for a vehicle with a holding tank is Mikes Conoco at 1645 9th st W in Columbia Falls (8.9 mi away). Closest town with wifi, cafes, restaurants, urgent care and larger grocery stores is Columbia Falls (9 miles away). We sell solar shower bags, sun screen, card games, cream soda, frisbees, bug spray, coffee, firewood, and more at Sam and Molly's mercantile by our house in the middle of our property. The Mooseshroom is an awesome camping community that is just 7 miles from the west side of Glacier National Park. Community fire pits near the Commons are a short walk from whichever tent spot guests are assigned. The Commons also houses the bathrooms and inside/outside kitchen areas. There is plenty of seating, hammocks and picnic tables for guests to use as well. We also have two yurts available for booking on our property. The Mooseshroom is a licensed business that is limited to hosting 18 guests per night. Guests should expect a quiet, peaceful camping experience with plenty of room to enjoy their surroundings. ***This property is adjacent Highway 2 and there is a fair amount of road noise. There's also a train that's fairly close. The noise kinda comes with the territory, guests are also 10 minutes from the west entrance to the park. The noise does tend to subside considerably at night, but for those bothered by this type of noise, you might consider an alternate location. Most guests are truly fine with it.

The dome glamping experience was wonderful! The interior of the bison decor was very cute and the perfect set up for my two gal friends and I. Beautiful view of the plains and river, both from inside the dome and the wooden porch it sits on. The propane heater was much appreciated, and took the chill off inside the dome. Trina was a terrific host, greeting us when we first arrived and showed us to our dome. She made sure we had what we needed, and has done a great job setting up her property. Fantastic getaway for us gals!!

3 nights at Lost Paddle and Pole

We spent 3 nights in the yurt here. It rained quite a bit and the temperatures got pretty chilly, but the yurt had an electric heater, that kept us more than comfortable. 2 adults, 2 children under 10 and our dog. We had plenty of room outside to cook and hang out. The yurt was thoughtfully arranged to feel plenty spacious and comfortable for the 5 of us. You cannot beat the location of this hipcamp. We spent 3 days in the park, but it is conviently close to Kalispell and Whitefish as well. We will definitely stay again.

My little dog and I absolutely loved our stay at Yellowstone Holiday. Our cabin was super cozy with a little heater to keep us warm. During the day, we enjoyed the lakeside walks. I was able to do a load of laundry & take a nice hot shower. The staff were warm, kind, friendly, and helpful, and Penny loved stopping by for treats. I would absolutely stay here again.

I booked at the last moment, late in the evening and Trina (and her awesome son, Steele) was there to greet us right as we arrived. They showed us to the dome and brought us a several gallon jug of water to use. The buck dome was perfect with comfortable beds. There was a BBQ available to cook our dinner on so we didn't have to dig out our camp stoves. Clean shared portapotty and hot shower a short walk away. Trina thought of everything needed for a nice glamping stay on a gorgeous property. The views do not disappoint and Trina was so fun to chat with and filled with fantastic recommendations for places well outside of montana that are on our itenerary. Next time we come to Montana we will be sure to book a stay.

The Stargazer tube was absolutely incredible! Perfect for me and my husband and the camping grounds were great for a nice walk around at sunset. Super convenient location to get into Glacier National Park quickly and lots to explore in between.

Weekend Trip to A Canyon Stay with Mini A-frame

Absolutely beautiful property. Thoughtful accommodations(games, solar powered flashlight/radio, books, hiking poles). Truly a wonderful experience. We didn’t encounter any bears but we did get to see a few deer. I recommend getting there during the light hours so you can find your way. Easy to follow instruction. Hosts are responsive and welcoming. Propane fire pit was a nice bonus. Our indoor heater was out of propane but we were comfortable. Bathroom and shower are down a little ways from the a-frame but not a bad walk. Definitely set up for a camper ready for a little glamp :)

1 night at Off The Beaten Path Glampground

My wife and I loved staying in the Bigfoot dome. We wish we started out road trip with this stay instead of making it our last stop so we could stay longer. The views are absolutely incredible and there were cows and deer wandering right outside. The sunrise and sunsets are amazing and the stars at night are incredible. Host is very nice and informative about things to do in the area and we'll definitely recommend and visit again.

We loved our stay in the tube site! It was perfect for us, since we flew in and didn’t want to travel with much camping gear. Plus it’s bear proof! The on-site mercantile had everything you might need, including coffee, bear spray, solar showers, and firewood. Jake was super accommodating and even heated up water for our forest shower a couple of times. The location was also perfect for accessing the park, and we enjoyed free coffee (with our own cup) each morning. We recommend Josephine’s for dinner just down the road.

Loved the Bison Dome and can’t wait to go back! Had a thunder/lightning storm that gave incredible views. Everything you need is offered and wildlife roaming around made for a great visit!!

Really enjoyed the Bison Dome! 4 of us stayed and we were very comfortable and had lots of elbow room. We were fortunate enough to enjoy an amazing thunder and lightning storm and the dome provided outstanding views of the lightning! Morning views were incredible. The deer were a bonus. We will definitely be back to check this out again. Trina is an awesome host for sure.

Terri’s Yurt and hospitality made for a perfect base camp on our trip to Glacier National Park! The yurt and common areas were clean, comfortable, and well-kept. For two adults with a pretty significant amount of hiking gear, we felt like we had plenty of space. The quick drive to the west entrance of the park was a huge plus! Highly recommended!
