See the extras section for details.** Resting in the foothills of the sapphire mountains, just outside the town of Stevensville Montana, this beautiful 20 acre property is conveniently located halfway between Hamilton and Missoula; it is also a good midway point between Yellowstone and Glacier national parks. The outdoor activities are endless. Biking, hiking, fishing, swimming, hunting, trail riding, snow skiing and more are all within reach. Deer, turkey, osprey, killdeer, nighthawks, and eagles frequent the property as well as the occasional elk herd; and the Lee Metcalf wildlife refuge is about 15 minutes away. The property sits about 400’ above the valley floor; giving spectacular panoramic views of the bitterroot valley and mountains, as well as incredible sunsets. The paved road ends about 1 mile before the property, the remaining mile is a gravel road. There is also a one lane bridge right before you get to the property. Firewood is available for use at no charge. Sewer hookup has not been run to the site yet but if you have a portable tank, or want to pull the camper over to the house, it can be dumped as needed beside the garage; just ask and I can show you where the pipe is. There is a nema 14-50 hookup providing 50 amp power at the site; if needed I do have a 50 to 30 amp adapter you can borrow during your stay. Water hookup is also available at the site, but may be limited in freezing weather. If temperatures are to cold we can turn on the water to fill your tank as needed and then blow the line back out. If you need to borrow a potable water hose let me know as i keep those in the garage unless needed. There is a non-potable water hose that is available at the site, with a spray nozzle, incase you need to rinse or wash off gear, vehicles, etc. SpaceX Starlink high speed internet is available via WiFi. You can also charge your electric vehicle, if needed, with the power at the campsite or I have another nema 14-50 plug available at the garage of the main house. Be sure to let me know if you will need the plug at the garage so I can make sure it is accessible. Our ranch is cozied up along the Blackfoot River and 9 miles away from Brown's lake, both of which are excellent sources of recreation. We are located off the highway on the back county road. This pristine camp spot is on our 5th generation cattle ranch and depending on the grazing schedule you may be serenaded by the sound of soothing "moo's" from our cow and calf pairs as you fall to sleep. Along with our cows, there are chickens and horses nearby, as well as multitudes of wildlife. Three couples of Trumpeter Swans call our pond home, as well as ducks, geese, loons, sandhill cranes, and a whole cascade of other bird varieties. Deer, grizzlies, black bear, badgers, elk, foxes, and rabbits also call our ranch home and can usually be spotted nearby. The camp site itself is along our pond. This pond unfortunately does not have any fish, but it is very relaxing to paddle a kayak or canoe in and out of the willow branches that surround it. You will have a quiet, serene and private location, hidden by the canopy of willows that grow along the pond. The views are spectacular and the nearby activities make this a great spot for any outdoor enthusiast!

I am one mile from Hwy 93 so you can hear traffic noise sometimes. Planes do fly over once in awhile as well. This is a dry camp and rustic camping, sites are fairly far apart. This property is so beautiful and peaceful out here at night. Seasonal Spring fed pond, Ponderosa pine trees, fallen white birch, rustic and gorgeous. Some of my camp spots are on rough terrain. I always suggest you get out and walk around to see what you can manage with your vehicle. The idea of my place is more wilderness camping, there is wildlife that comes around. RV camp spots on the east and west end of the pond. Camp spot out by the wooden round pen on the west side. Completely private, borders 2000 acres of a bird sanctuary. Two blocks from Bitterroot river canoeing, kayaking, fishing, swim, trails, hiking, scenery, wildlife. My pond is spring fed, which means that is goes up and down with the seasons and run off from the snow in the mountains and collects cotton from the trees when they shed. So as the summer goes on the pond levels go way down, please be aware of that.

Learn more about this land: We are 20 miles east of Missoula, MT near the Kettlehouse Ampitheater in Bonner. Our location is halfway between Yellowstone and Glacier National Park. There are mountain bike paths, river access points for paddling, rafting or fishing within minutes of our land. We can even help you know where to go. Our land is surrounded by Nature Conservancy land with a public recreation easement, so you can hike and take your horse for a ride very easily, just let us know and we will point you in the right direction. Our child had a significant medical emergency that required a lot of travel to Seattle Children's and 4 brain surgeries recently, so we are just getting the garden back up and running and the sheep are happy. Unfortunately no chickens this year. In a vehicle, you can pull into one of our pastures for your stay. Where you are depends on which field the sheep are eating! Tents also work in the field. We do not have any hookups, but there is potable water in the blue hydrant by the yellow tube. The fields are that - pasture fields. There are quiet neighbors across the fence who now have goats on one side. We are happy to offer advice about local attractions via messaging. This is pack it in, pack it out.

Located in Big Arm, Montana, Wild Horse RV Resort is a newer RV park that has individual owners and the lots are larger than a typical site. We own Lot 1 and it is FRONT ROW! No camper will block your views. This lot is also slightly larger than the others at about 60' x 100' and can accommodate large recreational vehicles. Wild Horse RV is a wonderful community of owners who love being near Flathead Lake, Glacier National Park and all things Montana! Big Arm Marina is just across HWY 93 and you can bring your boat and rent a slip (if there is availability), have dinner and just enjoy amazing sunsets on the lake. From our wonderful camp spot, you will have a beautiful view of Flathead Lake and the surrounding mountains. It is just so peaceful! Our layout is designed as a Pull-In Site for Motorcoaches. Hookups are on the LEFT side if you pull in... 5th Wheels and trailers will also work. You can pull in and disconnect. You are allowed to pull your truck through the middle of the aisle between the lots. However, once you reconnect, you will need to back your rig out unless no one is in Lot 2 and then you can pull through. Our site features wonderful lake views and we have full hook-ups (water, sewer & electricity - 50 amp) for your convenience . We have a gazebo with a gas-fire patio table - If you use the gas fire patio table, I do ask that you fill it before you leave so the next guest can use it. Dogs are allowed but need to be leashed and due to fire restrictions no wood fires are allowed (only gas). Also, HOA rules state no tents. ***There is a community area with a grill and pickle ball.*** ******NO wood fires are permitted due to fire restrictions. Small GAS fires are ok. ******* HOA rules stipulate that the minimum stay is 7-nights. Unfortunately, we are not allowed to grant shorter stays. Month to Month is also available. Also, if you are military (active, retired, vet), teacher or first responder let me know - we are happy to offer a 10% discount for your hard work! No tents are permitted - HOA rules PLEASE clean up the lot upon departure - please don't leave food or gunk on the tables or trash around the site. Be kind and leave it nice for the next guest. Great stop over spot right off the interstate. We rolled in after dark and still found it without issue. Taller vehicles be aware there are some low hanging branches but they are pretty bendy so I pushed through just fine. The entrance to field number 1 was pretty tight for our travel trailer. The car parked next to the garage meant I had to take it slow and watch my mirrors. But for the price, totally worth it.

I ended up at Cody’s at kind of the last second and he and his wife were very welcoming and easy to communicate with. The space is really clean and well kept. Me and my dogs slept great. I would have booked another night but had plans for the next evening already. I highly recommend this spot - a steal for the price.

Nice clean spot for a quick stop over. You can hear the highway traffic but it did bother us. We had the lower meadow to ourselves. A little tight getting through the gate with a car sitting there but actually had plenty of room. Beautiful view out or back window.

Had the whole place to myself. Very nice, amazing view, and my site was very clean. If you're using a tent it can be a bit of a pain to get the stakes in the ground, as it's a bit rocky; it could've just been me tho, as it was my first time camping. There are train tracks near by, but the sound wasn't too bad--it was sort of relaxing honestly. You're also close enough to a little town that you can get emergency supplies if needed, but far enough removed that it feels far out. The host was super nice as well. All in all, great experience, especially for first time campers!
