95 acres on the beautiful Topisaw Creek. Here we've raised 5 kids and a multitude of dogs, cats and chickens and a small herd of pineywoods cattle. The woods are quiet and undisturbed , harboring native species like jack in the pulpit, trillium and Florida anise. The spring-fed (and thus always refreshing!) Topisaw Creek forms the eastern border of our property, so plan to spend time on the sandy beaches and rock bars soaking up the sun or hunting for rocks and fossils (petrified wood and arrowheads have been found here). Many folks also enjoy a leisurely float down the creek in inner tubes ('tubing') or in a kayak. (Please note that after heavy rains the creek rises to epic heights and is too dangerous to navigate.) Little to no light pollution makes for amazing stargazing!

We offer shady campsites and fishing in two private lakes stocked with bass and bluegill. Lakes are for campers only! Campers can pick blueberries when they are in season (June-July)--limit 2 pints per site per day. Wildlife is abundant. You will hear owls and coyotes at night. Often bald eagles can be spotted at both lakes. Other wildlife you may see: deer, wild turkey, raccoons, opossums, fox, bobcat, coyote, rabbits, armadillo, otter, and squirrels. Please do not approach the wild animals! There is a pretty creek for those who like to creek walk. Petrified wood can be picked up in the creek bed. We are only 30 minutes from the University of Mississippi campus for people coming for ballgame weekends. We are only about 20 minutes from Grenada and Enid Reservoirs. These have some of the finest crappie fishing in the United States. We are located 2 miles east of the Trans America Trail.

PLEASE NOTE: I don't consider our location good for one night travel stop over. Our location is remote. We are 40 miles from Meridian, MS (I20/59); 20 miles from Philadelphia, MS; and 28 miles from Hwy 45 and Hwy 21 intersection. Although we get a lot of one night stays, the best reviews come from campers who want to rest and relax in a country setting for a few days.
Family farm consisting of pasture, pine tree forest, rolling hills and farm ponds. One RV site is beside a forest in a pasture. It's our premium site with 50 amp power, water, and sewer. It's quiet and peaceful.
Our original site is across from our house adjacent to our farm shed. It has 50 amp power and water. It's close to the public road so there is more noise. I consider it our secondary site for overflow.
Suggested Local Attractions: Don't leave until you've visited Sciples Mill. The best time is Saturday for a live tour. It's a 200+ year old water powered grist mill.

Old growth, shaded and well maintained land on Big Black river. 4 RV sites 8 primitive sites. 110 and 30 amp power with water hook ups available. Generator's are fine as well. Best catfishing in the state. No fishing license is required. Just start fishing. Borders Big Black civil war battlefield. Pets are family and always welcome. Off leash is fantastic as long as your good with it. Lots of room to run. Jon boats with motors, Kayaks and ATV's always ok. Large stretches of sand bars when water permits. Not far from I-20. Great cell reception. Good restaurant down the road in Bovina. Loves truck stop just down the road. The existing road going in "Vickors Rd" can be bumpy, dusty, wet and may hold pools of water at times but the road itself is solid and will support the heaviest of vehicles.

A Rustic road courses along with the creek and several offshoots for mountain biking or hiking. The waterfall and pool are a 1/2 mile hike into the property on the primitive road. Gravel is only provided at the entrance area, encircling the metal shed. Any driving off the gravel runs a risk of getting stuck in the slippery clay/mud. The hospitality was amazing! Soon as we pulled in , we were met and showed where we would be camping. The views were incredible. Guys, you want to give your little woman the “Notebook”feeling, take her to the big lake, row out on one of the boats and wait for the sunset. Trust the process lol. Definitely bring a fishing pole. Monster bass. Did not have a chance to explore the walking trails, but we are definitely going to be back. This is definitely a couples getaway spot or for the whole family. I really think God puts people, places, and opportunities in the appropriate timing. Very thankful for the experience. This was a get away trip that started in Arkansas with a very bad experience and ended the trip here, where one day made the whole week worth it. I cannot say enough about what amazing people that own this place are and I enjoyed our conversations in meeting someone I’ll never forget. Definitely make this a stop on your trip or make this place the whole trip. Promise you won’t want to leave.

The area was quiet and easy to access in the rural area of Clarksdale. It took about 25 minutes to get to town and visit the blues clubs and sites
We had 50 amp power and water is available although we didn't need to use it.
We had site 3 which for our big rig,but if there would have been someone on site 4 it would have been too tight and we would not have been able to put our slides out.
There were restrooms in the building which you are given access to. There is a large pecan orchard, great for walking your dogs.

We enjoyed our stay here! BEAUTIFUL piece of property and very quiet. Grounds were kept immaculate. Full hookups and site was easy to access with a 40' motorhome and tow behind vehicle. Nice seating area under a covered porch right outside our door. Also great communication with the owner. He contacted us immediately upon arrival to give us some tips for setting up and followed up later that day to make sure everything was okay. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again!

Where to go
Mississippi’s Gulf Coast
Some of the state’s most divine camping is found along the Gulf Coast. Gulf Islands National Seashore protects over 135,000 acres of the mainland and barrier islands in Mississippi and Florida. Hike amid the sand dunes, hit the waters in a boat or kayak, go deep-sea fishing, or explore wonders under the waters. Further inland, Clark Creek Nature Area is a fascinating landscape, with 700 acres of bluffs and pines. The National Park Service’s Davis Bayou Campground can accommodate tent and RV camping within the National Seashore. Private RV parks and glamping rentals can be found in beachside towns like Ocean Springs and Biloxi. Or, venture along the coast to find Gulfport and Bay St. Louis and more.
Natchez Trace National Scenic Trail
One way to explore the state is with a drive along the NPS’s Natchez Trace Parkway. Crossing three states, the bulk of the parkway runs diagonally across Mississippi along a 444-mile route paralleling the Natchez Trace National Scenic Trail. It offers a trek through time, following pathways formed by Native Americans, early European settlers, and more. The National Park Serve offers three first-come-first-served primitive campgrounds along the Natchez Trace. Campsites are free and can accommodate both tents and RVs. Plan a longer stop in Natchez, which has several private RV parks and glamping options, including Natchez State Park. This town overlooks the Mississippi River and offers a lot of character.
Northern Mississippi
Northern Mississippi is home to the state’s mountains. They may not be as high as other peaks, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t scenic. This small section of the Appalachians is home to Tishomingo State Park, an unexpected land of ferns, waterfalls, and craggy bluffs. A wooded campground offers RV sites and primitive tent camping. Two grand lakes provide recreation and scenery. Sardis Lake is a popular camping area to the west, and Bay Springs Lake is a favorite in the east. The Army Corps of Engineers operates several waterfront campgrounds.
