The driveway to the camping/parking spots is a tad of a slope so keep that in mind when booking. The max length we allow is 34 Feet long due to the road to the camping spots. You might drag your bumper or hitch on your way down the hill to the spot. It's not hard to drive, it just is a bit steep and only gravel. We are always here to help if need be when you arrive.
Bring bug dope, the bugs can be very hungry right about dusk time til about 30 min after the sun goes down.
If you have kayaks or paddleboards you are welcome to bring them and enjoy the lake. Watercraft (boats/jet ski's) not allowed.
This is a primitive camping spot, meaning no hook ups or WiFi. (no water/sewer/electric/wifi)

Even through the snowy winters. We provide private campsites at Camp 84. We offer 3 separate and secluded tent sites, each with personal vehicle parking. All sites include a designated campfire ring and tenting area. Just a 7-minute drive from downtown Chisholm and the biking trails at the REDHEAD Mountain Bike Park, this is a great spot to crash for the night or hang out for the weekend!
The property has direct access to the Northern Traxx ATV Trail, located just a short drive down Hwy 84. (Ask for directions if you’d like to explore.) Additional parking for utility trailers or extra vehicles may be available in the Collin Sand and Gravel field.
Guests are welcome to wander the property trails at their own discretion. There are no marked trails, but feel free to explore—just be mindful to keep a respectful distance from other sites.
A porta potty is located between Sites 1 and 2 on the other side of the driveway. Small camper vans are welcome, but RVs and camper trailers will not fit.

The beautiful Kingfisher's Bend is a blend of mixed mature timber, young trees and open meadow surrounded on three sides by the St. Louis River with 4 campsites. Sites 1-4 are tent or camper friendly. All sites are a 2-5 minute walk from the St. Louis River and a 2 minute walk from the new outhouse and water hose. A short ride from the Sax Zim Bog. Right on the water plenty of room for multiple tents if needed I personally car camped out of my four runner and had enough room where I could get right down to the water and still had plenty of room for a fire if I wanted too. I would highly recommend this campsite and I know I will be back in the future..

Our recent Hipcamp stay on the lake was nothing short of magical, and I can't recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the stunning natural beauty and the incredible peacefulness of the location.
The campsite itself was impeccably maintained, offering ample space and all the amenities we could have wished for, while still feeling wonderfully secluded. Waking up to the gentle sounds of the lake and enjoying our morning coffee with such a breathtaking view was truly unforgettable. We spent our days enjoying the lake and Loons simply soaking in the tranquility.
Our hosts were exceptionally welcoming and thoughtful, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort and enjoyment.

Absolutely beautiful spot right on the lake. We loved the privacy and easy access to the lake for kayaking. Even for the 4th of July weekend it was quiet overnight. It's only 45 minutes from the North Shore so we took a couple of sightseeing day trips. The Pequaywan Inn is just down the road and has a wonderful restaurant. The hosts Shelia and her husband were friendly and helpful. I'll definitely be back!

If you’re looking for a loud cramped campground with trailers and tents on top of each other and you can hear the neighbors talking then you won’t enjoy this site. But if you want a true slice of paradise in God’s country with privacy and solitude then this is the place. Not having WiFi, TV, or phone service for a couple of days was truly remarkable relaxing experience. We played games, talked, watched the Bald Eagles and listened to the loons. Sheila our camp host was very accommodating and made us feel welcome and at home. We hope that we have the opportunity to revisit “Sunset Bay”

Loved this place. I was in town for 1 night and stayed here in my SUV. The location was great, just a quick 2.5 mile bike ride into town for dinner. There was plenty of firewood at all of the sites. Even found a spot for the hammock near the for pit
Host was very responsive to any questions I had leading up to the start and even while I was there. Will stay here again if in the area.
