Ross Lake/Beach, the remodeled Beaverton Tavern, park, an ice cream shop and splash park are all located within a long walk or short drive. We are close to Gladwin, Ross Lake, ORV trails and the Juicy Bone. The river flows into Wixom Lake which is anticipated to be back in 2025. Sandy beach with river access . Quiet, despite a nearby road/bridge, and situated on the Tobacco River, Riverdaze offered me a private retreat while visiting friends nearby. I stayed for 3 nights with two pups and enjoyed the hospitality of the host as well as the convenience of nearby activities and restaurants. The hosts are putting work into the property, with improvements, and I'll keep it in mind if in the area again. The sites are perfect for tenters, small trailers, or those interested in boondocking with fire rings and picnic tables provided. A new treehouse and available water activities are great for families and adventurists.

Deer Path was a perfect get away for us. I was a little nervous about having neighbor's so close, but there was no need. The set up of the site and full hook ups felt very private. We loved sitting by the river and watching a Blue Heron fishing in the river as well as watching a herd of a dozen deer cross the river 100 feet from us. Megan stopped by to confirm that everything was perfect for our stay and it was. I highly reccommend this location with no reservations!

Kevin and Laurie are Top Notch. My and family and I have had the privilege of staying at Bear Paw 3 times. Our kids love to swim in the pond, fish, and explore the grounds. There plenty of playgrounds and for the kids to playWe enjoy sitting by the fire using the wood that’s provided. Kevin and Laurie not only keep the grounds well maintained but they genuinely care. They check on us periodically throughout the stay to see if we need anything. It’s clear to see that providing a memory-filled camping experience is what they strive for. We have camped at state parks and county parks as well, but Bear Paw rises to the top for us! Thank you!

My husband and I absolutely love Deer Path Lane! We’ve already been four times this year and are planning another trip in October — hopefully with some beautiful fall colors. Megan, Adam, the kids, Jane, and Pops are all so kind, welcoming, and helpful. They always make us feel right at home. We’re already looking forward to spending as much time as possible on the river in 2026 and hopefully making lots of wonderful memories along the way. Weekend Trip to Pine Creek⛺️💫Private Hilltop Camp

Very private campsite with gorgeous view of the stars. We overall had a nice trip, but would make a few adjustments: - The camp site was smaller than I was expecting based on the photos. - The walk down to the creek was nice, but could definitely use some maintenance to help clear up the stinging nettle and poison ivy. - There is poison ivy everywhere along the campsite perimeter, so I wouldn’t recommend this site to groups with pets of kids. - The entryway is marked with blue reflectors (not rocks like the description says)

I loved tent camping at Kristina and Kevins Land! Right on the River it truly puts you in a daze. There's a beach to hang out at and some short but nice trails. Super welcoming as having a campground runs in Kevin's blood. We will be back 🤟✌️

This property is amazing; private, great/easy full hook-up, clean, lots of space, 2 fire pits, and the area down by the river is so beautiful and peaceful! The river was clear and cold, and hardly any bugs. The sunrises over the cornfield across the street made the spot even more beautiful. Town was pretty close to grab supplies and pizza. We would absolutely come back again!
