2 nights at Duck Lake Wooded RV Retreat

This is a very nice lot with electric sewage and water. Front yard has many trees and a fire pit. Duck Lake and dock directly across road for easy access. We were there for only 2 nights and didn’t bring kayaks but next time for sure!! Hostess Jennifer very accommodating and it was a peaceful and quiet stay.

We loved camping on Chips land ! It is so quiet and serene , we hated leaving ! The water is beautiful! Other campers were extremely nice ! We will be back every chance we get and can’t wait to bring the kids to enjoy this gorgeous land !

We were invited to join a large party for a family fun camping weekend at bear paw. I was blown away with how beautiful it was here! There is SO much to do! The hosts were absolutely amazing and truly go above and beyond to make sure everyone is comfy and have everything. I would highly recommend camping here. Can't wait to come back!

Chip was an incredibly attentive & generous host, providing us with maps for his land, clear instructions and a friendly, easy manner. This place had so many perks (unlimited supply of wood; clean, quiet sites; boating included)--we couldn't believe the price was so low! Highly recommend.

We stayed on Mark's land when my husband was in the area working. Easy access, trash pick up, plenty of room for parking, on a large lot. Close to stores, gas station, laundry and other conveniences. Mark responds to all messages and is quick to help. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent place to camp, I tent camp when I travel and it was peaceful and primitive. Close to town, great host, nice lake. I loved it and, would camp there again.

Our one-acre campsite near Au Gres, Michigan, is a great fit for small groups or couples who want easy access to Lake Huron, nearby towns, and a safe, convenient place to camp for the night. The front of the property offers a grassy, open area with enough space to park an SUV or small campervan and set up a few tents. Pop-up campers can fit, but space is tight and not ideal. The lot becomes fully wooded toward the back, with a short walking path winding through the trees. There are 3 designated spots where you could pitch a tent, as well as 2 fire rings. The property appears heavily secluded during the summer months, and has very minimal visibility from neighbors. The neighbors are friendly, and the road the property sits on sees occasional vehicle traffic throughout the day. A 4-minute walk down the street brings you to an uncrowded public access point to Lake Huron, a true hidden gem with soft sand and spectacular views. It’s the perfect daytime escape for swimming, sunbathing, or simply relaxing by the water. Please note, it's about a 5-minute walk from the campsite, and you will need to cross US-23 (which is safe). You can return to the site in the evening for a cozy bonfire under the stars.
