Excellent spot. Close to Tawas so plenty to do when not staying at the site. Secluded enough despite being right on the road. He has two area cleared for tents the spot further back in the lot is a little smaller but perfect for one tent.
Unfortunately canât recommend right now due to there being a zoning issue and we were asked to leave by a representative of the township. So our trip was cut short.

Cute spot! It was a bit confusing to find at first but once I was settled I enjoyed my time. Some of the reviews had me nervous because Iâm fairly picky when it comes to wanting an âin natureâ experience- though you are fairly close to a road and not completely secluded in the middle of the woods, I thought the campsite itself still felt nice and private and gave me the woodsy feel. Unfortunately I canât speak on the lake access.. I ended up spending the day in Tawas Point State Park. Anyway I thought it was a good spot đ

We loved this place was a great time and the campsite was nice and clean however we drove 3 hours to this campsite to find that there was a sign saying that the campsite is in city violation, so technically the owner is not aloud to do that and I just wanna give a heads up to anyone driving very far, we were told by the city who stopped by the site that we normally wouldnât be aloud there other than that awesome place !

I loved the spot for the campsite. We could get into the site with our suburban. The walk to the beach did feel like walking through someone's back yard but it was a public road. We would definitely come back for the views!

Had a great time- Joe was extremely responsive and addressed any questions we had. Not a super secluded spot to camp but itâs a great vacation community with lots to offer.

Itâs a cute spot, the main attraction being the beach thatâs a short walk from the campsite. We spent so much time by the lake, it was exactly what I wanted!

we had a great time on Joeâs land! we stayed for 4 nights and really have no complaints. the spot is a bit close to the road, but we had no issue pulling right up to the site. we also had no issue finding a spot for our big tent. the short walk to the beach was perfect. there were a few cars that went by throughout the day but again, we did not mind one bit. there were a few critters and lots of cool mushrooms around on the land. we would definitely camp with Joe again! đ˛đ

Honestly this was super disappointing especially for the price. This spot is definitely not vehicle accessible unless you drive a truck, parking on the road feels sketchy especially with folks zooming by on atvs and flying by in trucks. Finding a flat spot for my tent was hard, stumps everywhere. For $45 youâd think the spot would be a little graded. Not having a fire ring at all is a sure way to start a forest fire. Walking to the beach was uncomfortable because you have to walk through someone elseâs property across the street. I feel like the description for this spot was really misleading and Iâm disappointed. There was also a jug of Roundup sitting in the woods. So poison is being used. Not cool.

This was a great site if youâre looking for a somewhat private lot away from other campers! It is close to the road, with a couple people driving up/ down throughout the day and night which was a bit unfortunate, but the land was beautiful and so close to the water which was amazing! There is a cool path in the woods behind the lot which where fun to explore, it definitely will be a bit wet/ muddy back there if you get any rain though! Still fun :)

I personally liked the spot. My smaller truck pulled in and it was serene. The beach while technically allowed to be there I felt like I was trespassing. As a single male I felt secure. My partner said she would not have had she been there. Felt a tad like trespassing on property but no one bothered me

My friend and I stayed here a night it is close to the road but not many cars went down it and the area felt nice and safe. The beach was great and only a short walk.

Great location! Perfect for a weekend camp out. The beach felt a little awkward because it seemed like it was someoneâs private beach, but the people who lived on the beach seemed to have no problem. So it was great either way!

Great private, quiet wooded retreat just a quick walk from the beach. We had room for 2 large SUVs, 2 tents, a canopy, bathroom area, etc. Joe was very helpful and accommodating.
