Another year, another great time. The hosts were amazing and everything was tip top. Would recommend this site to anyone. We are already talking about going again next year.

Hipcamp at its best!
I love the option of renting a camper instead of using my tent. Hot and cold water is wonderful. As well as having heat and air conditioning. The grounds that Lori and Kevin have are exceptional. The pond for swimming kayaking, fishing with the zip line and slide and a little kiddie sand/ water play area is fantastic. Numerous play structures, a newly built tree house around a tree are just a few of the fun things for you and your family to enjoy. Lori and Kevin are wonderful hosts. They are above and beyond helpful and kind. We can’t say enough things about them and their lovely place!!!

The amenities were amazing. The kids had an amazing time with all that was offered. However, it was never disclosed that one the house and hosts are like 500 feet away. Also in one day they came over "to see how things were". We personally felt it was over the top and slightly intrusive. It is also never disclosed in the information that they will be out using the playgrounds with their grandkids. So when they say private it is but slightly. It was misleading to our group. Had i known that i honestly would not have booked. Maybe for some its okay, for our group it was not. Ive used hip camp several times and was always communicated with via the app. I will not be booking in the future simply for this fact. It was not a welcoming environment. The vibes didnt sit well with our group. The amenities were the selling point.

We had a group of about 25 that included 4 generations. Some brought campers, some rented from Kevin and others had tents. There was something for everyone to do with plenty of space to set up camps. Hosts were excellent and very helpful and accommodating. We already booked for next year. Only thing to know is there is no cell service- which was actually nice as no one was on their phone but had conversations and played games.
