We have an 80 acre homestead on a dirt road with clear, flat places to park an RV or vehicle and woods for camping or hiking. You can camp or park in several places around the property and have complete privacy from the house. You’ll need to bring your own drinking water and there are no restrooms available. There is an RV dump station 5 miles north at McCormicks gas station. Feel free to ask questions. We look forward to sharing our beautiful space with you.
We are two “young” folks with a budding farm and homestead. We have horses, cows, free range chickens, and a load of barn cats around a 100+ year old barn. You are welcome to respectfully interact with the animals, but be careful of the electric fence!
Our rural setting is quiet and peaceful. There is often a herd of deer in the fields at dusk. Yet, we are only ~15 minutes from Lake Michigan and ~30 minutes from Grand Haven or Grand Rapids. The Musketawa Trail is 4 miles directly north.

Welcome to our little slice of heaven along the Grand River in Grand Haven, MI. Voted one of the best places to visit in '22 and '23. Our property is at the end of a private road and has been in the family for decades. We fondly refer to it as One Grand Place and we are excited to be sharing it with you.
Our Premium RV site has a cement pad, parallel to the river. Can accommodate 1 RV up to
30' (NO Class A's allowed). 30/50/standard 110 electric and water hookup. Pump out is available for a fee.
At the very far west end of the property is a large grassy area with 1 RV site perpendicular to the river with 30 amp and standard 110 electric and water. RV up to 30' (NO Class A's). Pump out is available for a fee.
If you don't have an RV, no problem. Rent our elevated popup RV.
There is plenty of room to set up games, fish, play with the kids or the dogs, etc. What's not to like? It is your very own exclusive home away from home.
Property is adjacent to Connor Bayou County Park and surrounded by natural wetlands. So, we are a perfect place to unwind, chill, enjoy fresh air and picture perfect sunsets.
Boating, swimming, jet skis, kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing are just a few things to be enjoyed on the water. There's a public boat launch just a couple minute ride and Connor Bayou Park has a kayak specific boat launch. Or, you can also drop a kayak in at the very west end of our property right from shore.
Hiking, biking and wildlife/bird/eagle watching are also options. Lake Michigan beaches, various state/county parks, downtown Grand Haven's shops and restaurants are just a short drive away.
Holland is about 30 minutes south. PJ Hoffmaster State Park is 25 minutes North. If you are a thrill seeker, Michigan's Adventure Amusement and Waterpark is 40 minutes North in Muskegon. Grand Rapids is 40 minutes to the East. There are also many wineries, distilleries, ciders and craft beer in Southwest Michigan as well as "you pick" blueberries and many festivals in the summer. Bottom line....there is plenty of things to do and see during your visit. You can be as active or as chill as you want to be.

Swimming is not prohibited, but is at your own risk. Several fields are available as well as a small and large tent site along the river. Campers may park in the field.
We are located along the North Country Trail and only a few blocks from their office as well as walking distance from the Kent county youth fairgrounds
There is several restaurants and breweries walking distance away, joined by a social district as well as several cannabis stores. A dollar store and ice cream shop are 2-3 blocks away. And a country style breakfast restaurant is next door.
Have a fire or go fishing down by the river, or visit the animals at feeding time. The donkey likes attention. Fresh eggs are also available for $3/doz

This property is the perfect location to stop and relax while you are traveling on the White Pine Trail. We have cabins and campsites with water and electricity. It is centrally located between Grand Rapids and Cadillac. We offer river access, kayaking, bathrooms, showers, and a dump station. This is an old church camp with 14 different buildings. There is a trail that goes down to the river. My goal is to restore all of the buildings to what they once were. I encourage you to come and investigate before it's all done. I can't wait to see what the next few years have in store for me!

I would highly recommend staying at Doug and Kerri's place. The views are beautiful and it was so peaceful and relaxing. They have a lot of extras at the campground and it's easy to tell they want their guests to be comfortable and happy. They were easy to communicate with and very pleasant. We will definitely be back!

Grays River Camp was awesome. Angie was a super host and very pleasant to talk with. Attentive to needs and making sure campers are happy. She has done a lot with the campground for improvements, making sure there is a little bit for everyone to have fun outdoors or indoors in the case of bad weather. It was very quiet, clean and peaceful camped along the river. Plenty of room to walk dogs if you have them. We floated the Muskegon during our stay. Angie dropped us off at a riverside park in Big Rapids and we paddled and fished our way back to camp. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we are camping there again the following weekend. I would highly recommend this camp to anyone looking to get away from the congested state campgrounds and larger RV resorts. Great for RV’s and Tents. There is a dump station for RV’s which was a blessing. Thanks Angie, we look forward to coming back.

One of the best places we’ve stayed yet! Our host was great! No hookups at the site area but Matthew was very helpful and allowed us to use the water spigot on the side of the house. HUGE BONUS, you get to play frisbee with his awesome, crazy smart dogs!! The sites are in a field right on the river. The little road back to the field is a bit bumpy but we made it easily in our 39ft class A towing our car. Tons of room to turn around too. Just needed to take it slow. Will definitely be staying here again. Soooo peaceful and relaxing.

A campsite with all the amenities for an extra comfortable stay. We enjoyed the bathhouse showers and restrooms and cute snack shop with ping pong, board games, and necessities just in case you forgot something. We also loved having wifi. The kids never got bored because there were so many activities such as a cool zip line, small playscape, basketball hoop, kayaking, and so much more. The icing on the cake was how nice and helpful Angie was. The property is the perfect place to enjoy camping.

Such a nice little piece of land. The bathrooms were immaculate and I even got a hot shower! It is about 300 ft from main road so we could hear some road noise, but it was also nice to be able to go grab ice, etc from a nearby gas station when needed. Great experience overall :)

This is a friendly and well-managed campground with flush toilets and a sink nearby, easy electrical hookup, and even two clean - and free - showers! The sites were about half the size of what we’re used to, so I’d consider a premium site for next time.

Absolutely loved our stay on Doug and Kerri's property! The views are just stunning! And to be right there on the Grand River was really a huge privilege, no crowding, it's quiet and you have big solid fire pit. You can fish directly from your site. The property is beautifully maintained and Doug and Kerri think of it all when it comes to providing amenities (Grill, Cornhole, games, firewood, outhouse, solar shower, pump out service, etc...). They are great about communicating and getting you to the property and set up. I am so glad we stayed here and I sure wish I lived closer as I would be there often. Highly recommend!

My sister and I had a great time at the riverfront campsite. We were able to get on the water multiple times (instant river access is awesome!) including a beautiful sunrise paddle :) We thoroughly enjoyed the farm animals and the constant natural symphony around us. We didn’t have the chance to meet Matthew, but his property was beautiful and exactly what we were hoping for. Super close to town while feeling a lot more secluded. We brought a pop up privacy tent

A very organized, well-maintained camping property. Angie and her partner doing a really nice job restoring this former church camp from the 1940’s. I didn’t require any of the hookups, it my site was clean, flat, easy to access and felt private. Would stay here again!
