Where do I start.... peaceful,relaxing, beautiful awesome place to stay! Scott and Chris both are the Best!! You feel so comfortable with them They give you your privacy But They are right there to help with anything you need The fifth wheel was so comfortable and the beds were very nice We stayed ( my sister and I) for a week and it was the best place I have stayed since staying places through Hip camp! There are paths to walk through in the woods a beautiful area outside to sit have a fire and just relax and enjoy the day There are deer ,wild turkeys and a special owl that we got lucky enough to see! I would say if you love the outdoors a nice place to stay Awesome people to meet And oh, two beautiful,friendly playful dogs that come visit You have got to try this one out for sure! ☺️ We will definitely be back! We loved it!

Anne was a super amazing host! We stayed at the meadow and want to come back to one of the forest sites. Her property was so well maintained and because of this there were so many fireflies! It was a magical weekend and the outdoor kitchen came in handy. We appreciated the roaming pets, the site was easy to get to and it had everything we needed. The area was close to the water and not far from a lot of cute food places and antique shops. Definitely a hidden gem and we can’t wait to come back!

I loved camping at 2chicks! The property is well maintained and felt private. The farm tour was a lot of fun! We had lots of kitty visitors who were very friendly and enjoyed their company. Unfortunately, our tent was damaged during our visit (we got hit with a large storm) but our host graciously allowed us to switch camp sites to a yurt last minute. The host's did fresh coffee and hot water in the morning making our breakfast easy. Id love to return again! Highly recommend!

I was at the Farm camping at Mike's Place with my grandson. We had so much fun. He was able to enjoy the farm animals and especially the cats! Julie and Theresa were so kind! Tent ready to go, a welcome basket with so many camp things! It is so peaceful. I am going back with two other grands in a few weeks! If you are looking for a camping experience but are not equipped with camping gear, this is the place for you!

We had the best time at Gypsy camp! Anne & family were incredibly generous hosts and went above & beyond sharing their lovely property with us. Highlights were the amazing outdoor shower and the magical firefly show in the trees surrounding our tent at night. Hope to come back someday - 10/10 recommend!

It was the perfect get away. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming. The farm’s location is ideal, just a short drive to both the city and the lake (don’t miss North Beach if you ask for local tips!). We enjoyed a great mix of nature and charming small-town fun, local brewerys bakeries and farms market on Saturdays. And the eggs? Absolutely the best I’ve ever had. We cooked them over an open fire for breakfast and even bought all that left at the moment to bring some home!

The farm was beautiful and our tent site (#7, in the woods) was shady and pretty, with a fire pit, lanterns and a picnic table. We could see some of the neighbors but were far enough away for privacy. Julie and Teresa were amazing hosts. During the major heatwave, they provided ice water, fans and neck wraps to everyone. They clearly care deeply about their community and offering support to others and it shows. Overall an excellent experience!!

We had such a wonderful stay at John’s glamping yurt! John was an incredibly kind and helpful host—he made us feel welcome right away and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The campsite itself is peaceful and private, surrounded by beautiful grounds that made it easy to relax and unwind. The setup is fantastic: everything is thoughtfully laid out, from the cozy yurt and outdoor shower to the well-equipped cooking area with a grill, stove, tables, and a great firepit for evenings by the fire. Awesome for our dog, too!! We also had a blast playing cornhole—such a fun touch! We’re so glad we found this spot and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a private, relaxing, nature-filled getaway with great amenities and an amazing host. Thanks again, John!

I loved staying the camper on Scott and Christine’s property, I found the hosts to be very accommodating and gracious. They were kind enough to give us some recommendations on things to do in the area, and also respected our privacy. The site has a trail on the property to getting out and stretching your legs. We found it to be both family and dog friendly. Camper shower worked great, was well stocked and it was wonderful to have fire wood available. Will come back for sure!

2Chicks And A Farm

7 camp sites, 1 RV site, 3 Yurts, a Bohemian camp site, and new this year a TeePee Site and Hammock site. For a total of 13 options. 2Chicks And A Farm is a small working farm on 20 acres, owned and run by Julie and Theresa Graham. We are 13 minutes from South Haven and the lake. 30 minutes from the city of Kalamazoo. And just under an hour from Grand Rapids. About half of the 20 acres is wooded, which is where three of our camp sites, Hammock Haven are located. Each site has a fire ring & picnic table. One site, capable of taking a mid sized RV / Fifth Wheel, is located on the front of the property with easy access from the road. It backs up to some trails and brush/wood area and has a corn field to the right. So, even though on the front on the property, you have a feeling of privacy. It too has a fire pit and picnic table. Three camp sites are located in the pasture. One is at the bottom of the pasture (1) and quite open. It can accommodate larger groups with multiple tents. A more secluded site (5) is half open and half in light woods., and is located at the top of the pasture. The others are in the middle of the pasture, 2 for sun lovers and 3 for those who prefer more shade. For those who prefer more seclusion, we have cleared three sites in the woods. All sites have a fire ring, or metal fire pit, and picnic table. Some have fire wood boxes (we’re working on making a box for all sites). We have an outdoor propane shower that provides both hot and cold water. This is free. A coffee bar is on the back deck. Coffee is brewing around 7am. We also provide hot water, teas, hot chocolate and cider. Feeling a little peckish before breakfast, or after dinner? Help yourself to a snack. This is all free, though small donations are welcomed. Our goats, poultry, pigs, rabbits, cats and dogs and produce take up about an acre and a half. Then the rest is open space. You are welcome to collect eggs for breakfast and fresh produce from our gardens (additional fee). Use the BBQ or smoker. And even join in on farm chores if you are so inclined. Please try to plan to check-in by 9pm. Exceptions can be made. There are locally mandated quiet hours (10-7 Sun through Thur, and 11-7 Fri and Sat). Hanging out by a fire and chatting is fine.

Inn Between the Lakes is a unique location surrounded by farm fields. It's a 1880’s farm house, old barn and newer cottage sit on just under two acres. The main floor of the home is occupied by the owner. Accommodations are available on the second floor of the house, in the cottage, and on the grounds. The upstairs second floor of the home has its own access and is separate from the rest of the house. Three private bedrooms share bathrooms and a porch/living room with a fabulous view. Completely renovated in 2023. This included adding a shared kitchenette, remodeling each bedroom, the bathroom and adding a powder room. Across the deck is the cottage. The newly remodeled suite features a king bed, cotton sheets, a convenient kitchenette, ADA friendly bathroom, private patio and deck. Set up your tent or RV under a lovely shady tree or near the limitless expanse of a waving corn field. Enjoy your morning coffee while relaxing on the large deck to the sound of running water meandering to the Koi pond. Grill steaks on one of the BBQ grills. Toast marshmallows at the little table fire pit on the the deck or down at the campfire circle. Take a stroll around the property and enjoy the gardens. Many varieties of vegetation, flowers, trees, herbs and vegetables. On the north edge of the property is the old 1900 hay barn. It was moved to the property in the 1950’s and has several unique qualities, and is available for weddings or boutique event venue.

Hostel SoHa is two 5,000 square foot buildings on 7 acres of private land in the process of being renovated into the first traveler's hostel in West Michigan. This summer, we are proud to announce we will be opening our first building with indoor pod-bed accommodations on May 15th. Not to worry, campers. There is still plenty of space for pitching tents, car camping, and even more amenities included with your stay. [Apirl 18th Update] Because we are still in the process of opening up a communal kitchen, a larger common area, an improved outdoor fire pit area, showers, and more there may be construction going on during your stay. We are located directly off M-43 and only a 5 minute drive to the beach; downtown South Haven; and Walmart, Aldi, and Meijer. The Bangor Train Station is a 12 minute drive and we can also help arrange pick up and drop off from there. This fun and central location is best suited for adults ages 18-35, but we welcome any adult looking for a more social and unique experience. This is a adult/traveler friendly environment and is not recommended for families or individuals looking for a private getaway. Harbor Country Cabins

I become owner of this property in 2017. The cabins were built in the late 90's financed by the previous owner. The property was vacant for decades prior to that. In the 1950's, the property was a drive-in motel called the 'Harbert Motel'. We have an arial photo from this time period which showed a number of small bungalows for guests, each with its own carport.
