Learn more about this land: You can enjoy glamping in our greenhouse-tent for peace and tranquility. There is a cabin built inside the tent.  It is under a canopy of trees with a cool pond breeze prevailing. The bed and linens are first rate for a very comfortable stay. There are shelves, potable water and a table within. It is heated in the cool temps and fan cooled in the warmer days.  There is a kayak and paddleboard available to borrow. There is a dryflush toilet, hand sink and outdoor heated shower in the back of the tent. Cooking is on charcoal grill and toaster oven. There are dishes, cups and utensils for your use. as well as coffee press and hot water boiler. The 40 acre pond is 65 feet deep. It is a kettle pond which is spring fed with no river inlets to pollute it.  Access is a little tricky with 100 yard hike from the parking area down a steep slope.  The pond is stocked with bass and trout for great fishing. The birds are amazing.  Henry David Thoreau wrote about White Pond in his book, Walden as the "emerald eyes of the world."  This is a place that magic happens.

The 1.3 acre parcel across the street from the house and farm has a forested peninsula that the A-frame is located on. Our street ends in a small stream that continues to separate the farmstead from the A-frame site. Come stay in our tiny rustic A frame cabin built of mostly reclaimed materials. Enjoy being across the stream and over the bridge from the main house on a private peninsula. Enjoy the privacy of a "single site" camp! Use the fire pit, grill, outdoor wood stove, single burner butane stove or umm the bathroom :) without having to leave your site! Please be aware we are in town and you may hear road noise, lawn mowers, dogs, ect. You may also see and hear wildlife ex; deer, beavers, ducks, muskrats, rabbits, geese, foxes, and coyotes. We encourage native plants and work to provide a sanctuary for many threatened bird species. The cabin is 100sq. feet with sloping interior walls the flip up side wall is permanently open and screened in. There is no running water or electricity so unplug and unwind. A place to plug in and the water spigot a short stroll from your cabin in the driveway The cabin has a a full size mattress with sheets, blankets, throws and pillows. Lanterns, cooking utensils, camp mugs and camp coffee pot are provided. Please request the cast iron skillet and butane burner, it will not be in the cabin if you do not ask for it. You are also welcome to set up your own tent. Please note cleared space is limited and the tent should be a 1-3 person smaller tent. Outside on the deck are tiki torches, woodstove and bistro table. There is a hammock, picnic table, and 2 sets of outdoor chairs at your site. We do not have a swimming hole but the town beach is 5 minutes away and requires a day pass. If you forget something you are a short walk to Cumbies, and several farms, bakeries and a large grocer are a very short drive away. Venture farther (10 minutes) to one of the nearby hiking trails. We are within 15 minutes of the Blackstone Gorge, Southern New England Trunkline Trail, Cornier Woods, Franklin State Forest, Wojcik Farm, Cook's Valley Farm, the New England Bonsai Museum, Diamond Hill Vineyards, Caroline's Cannabis, Shire Conservation Area, New England Country Club, and many stables. We are a bit of a holdover-and we take our stewardship role of this farming legacy quite seriously. Despite our glorious natural setting, we are actually very close to all the places people want to visit in RI-including Providence (15 minutes), Newport (30 minutes) beaches (15-40 depending on which one you chose) and a bunch of parks and hiking areas (15-45 minutes max). We are also near Ct and Mass-so a good home base for all kinds of exploring! Stays are limited to three nights.

Fantastic getaway spot! A private, peaceful, and perfect place to unplug for a few days. The location was beautiful with great hiking trails nearby! The host, Jon, was very welcoming and incredibly responsive to questions. There is great cell service here (Verizon), a fire pit with chairs, camp stove, king sized bed, a speaker !!, pots, pans & utensils. Many games and books to play/read. Lots of outdoor equipment! I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway! I will absolutely be coming back!!

It was a cute little cabin in a relaxing spot near the water with use of the kayak and paddle board and floating dock. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. Lots to do in the area if you like art and history. Just what I hoped for in a quick weekend getaway.

Weekend Trip to Wapack Trail Cabin

Enjoyed a peaceful stay at Wapack Trail Cabin. The cabin was clean and had everything I needed. I took a weekend getaway with my two dogs - needed to get away from the day to day AND this place was perfect. Jon was very nice and friendly, explained the amenities, the trails, weekend local activities and gave me fresh eggs from his chickens. My visit was mid-July and the temps were very comfortable, I wasn’t swarmed by bugs, most of the cabin windows have screens and the cabin has a portable fan for additional comfort. I’m just an hour away and look forward to more visits.

In my five years on HipCamp, SnugLife has risen to the top my list. I’ve stayed at both the tent site and the glamping site. The two sites sit just a few feet away from a beautiful babbling brook, you can spend a hot day lounging in the river. You can’t get more peaceful than that. I would recommend staying at the tent site in the summer and the clamping site in the winter. The glamping site isn’t quite is nice spot for river access, but it has everything you need for a great winter camping trip, including both a barbecue grill outside and a woodstove in the tent along with bunk beds and cooking equipment. They greeted us upon arrival and told us some fun stories. They showed us everything we needed to know and then let us enjoy. The dock/raft/boat thing was such a fun surprise. We got to cruise around the pond, fish and jump in. Comfortable bed in the cabin/tent as well. Nice temperature inside despite the warm temps outside.

We had a wonderful time staying at Georgie’s cottage. It was quiet and had all the amenities of home. The location was perfect. We used this as a base to see Boston and Salem MA. We went Salem it took and it about 1 1/2 hrs and to get to Boston during the week about 30 min and on the weekend about an hour. The cottage was clean and there towel, shampoo, charcoal for the grill, cable TV, internet and private outdoor area. We highly recommend this little Gem. I will definitely be back.

Beautiful and relaxing, Claudine and Henry are great hosts. They made sure we had everything we needed to feel comfortable. The pond was so warm and the locals around it were friendly as well. We can’t wait to go back 😄💗

Weekend Trip to Waterfront cabin 10minutes Cape Cod

Beautiful spot! The pond views are awesome and the water quality/clarity is excellent, we saw many fish right at the cabin and while kayaking around the pond perimeter. The room is lovely and has a great sunrise view. Plenty of privacy and outdoor space to use. Highly recommended for an authentic southern Mass summer experience.
