We can hike out of our back yard down our neighbors driveway up the road a little bit and into a large preserve that has trails going in Connecticut and can be taken all the way up to New Hampshire.
We have a few beautiful kayak and canoe friendly rivers by us that are mostly calm water with a few sets of small rapids. Ocean with 4x4 trails, shell fishing, sport fishing boats all within a reasonable distance. New port, Jamestown, block island all worth visiting.
