No presents for me or other campers, thank you. 45-acre Historic farm, several sites to choose from depending on adventure wanderlust (including a 4WD drive site). Located on private gravel lane, approximately 1/2 mile off county road. Either corn or soybeans with a woods backdrop. Secluded and private, yet 25 minutes to downtown Annapolis, 10 minutes to the Bay, great for cycling, paddleboarding, kayaking all 10/15 minutes from farm. DC 45 minutes, Baltimore 1 hour. Jug Bay wetlands, wineries, fun little waterfront towns and Bay front restaurants all within easy reach. Check out individual sites for description, each has its own personality. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out. First listing actually has several options. For large campers/coach/fifth wheelers the area by the tractor shed will be the best. Around the corner there's two other choices both with firepits which will accommodate units up to 40 feet depending on your backing/maneuvering skills. Field of Dreams and Sycamore Ridge will accommodate campers under 25 feet with some backing/maneuvering skills. What a great find in Anne Arundel County. This is a beautiful and well maintained property and only 40 minutes from my front door. Site 1 was spacious and had room for two trucks and tents. Communication was great and Randy provided easy to follow directions. We will be back for sure!

We had a wonderful time at Jill’s property for an overnight trip with our camper. We had the whole place to ourselves and enjoy the peaceful countryside while exploring the pond and beautiful tree covered driveway. Jill’s communication has been the best we’ve experienced this far!!

Weekend Trip to Island Getaway

We loved the island and La Mar was an amazing host. 5 of us spent a weekend on the island. If you have no experience canoeing, be prepared. Being from NYC, we are inexperienced and it took us an hour to row the mile to the island against the tide. if you can get your own power boat to take you there, it will make life a whole lot easier. definitely a challenge, but it was amazing once we made it. The island is relaxing for a weekend. You also get to do some fishing, though we didn't have much luck in October. also - low tide is really low tide. don't plan on going out until the tide comes in a bit. I would recommend taking lots of firewood and a portable toilet. I can't say enough about how communicative and accommodating La Mar is. We're already talking about our next trip.

Beautiful site - they aren’t kidding about the stunning sunsets! Quick drive to some stunning hiking spots - Trap Pond, Assateague, etc. Having a plumbed in bathroom and hot shower was an added bonus.

Weekend Trip to Island Getaway

As a quick getaway we booked La Mar’s island. It’s pretty well kept and has a large campfire area overlooking the water. Easy fishing from the island as long as it’s not low tide. Lots of space to camp with multiple tents if desired. You’re able to watch bald eagles and other wildlife, we even saw an otter. The only downfall is you can hear the highway all night long. I would definitely book again for a quick getaway!

Really enjoyed our stay with Randy and Carol. The site was clean and private. We arrived later in the evening than we had initially planned due to heavy traffic and construction on the Delaware Memorial Bridge. Randy was super accommodating and helpful and waited for us to arrive to direct us to our site.

Weekend Trip to Greenock Farm

We had a great two-night stay in our 13 foot travel trailer here. We were at site #1 and chose the spot furthest back and it was perfect for us. I’m not an expert with the trailer but was able to position on a flat spot at Randy’s recommendation that gave us a nice view of the cornfields. It was very peaceful, we put the fire pits to use, and had a wonderful stay. It’s pretty local for us and we definitely would stay again.

Great site and beautiful property overall! There was plenty of space for our fifth wheel to turn around and park. Power and water is conveniently located, and easy to use. The location is convenient to Cambridge and Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge. Great site and friendly host - we will be back if we are in the area again!

Weekend Trip to Kingsley Orchards, LLC

We had a lovely stay this past weekend! We had the whole place to ourselves which was nice. Dale delivered our firewood and farm fresh eggs right to our campsite upon arrival. Site 5 is the furthest away from the farm market which is where the bathroom and shower are located, maybe a 10 minute walk. The shower is outdoors, but equipped with hot water, enclosed in a stall and very clean. There was some noise from an event being held at the venue behind the market one night, but it was far enough away that it didn’t bother us. The only downsides to the site were lack of shade and privacy from the road that runs behind the property. I would definitely recommend bringing a canopy for shade. If I stayed again, I’d probably choose site 4 as there are tall patches of wildflower meadows in between each site, which provides a little more privacy. Overall, a great place to stay and very convenient for all of the places we wanted to visit nearby!

Not a cramped golf cart sites here. Peaceful pastures with scenic views and a culture deep in history and the arts. Our host was spectacular and very accommodating. He even threw in a free guitar lesson which we needed badly lol.. lots to experiences in the surrounding area. Antiquiting, thrift stores and farm markets are frequently found . Fishing and crabbing was great. This is a hidden go to getaway. Love it.
