We had an incredible time at Kiwanis beach! Our private site was the perfect spot for our mini baby moon! Sarah was so kind and accommodating and helped us out when I forgot some important and necessary items. We were already planning our next visit before the weekend ended! Definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for some private, dog friendly lake access camping! Looking forward to our next visit as a family of 3 (+ four legs!)

4 nights at Island View At Kiwanis Beach

We had a great time at the camp, the view was amazing as it was just steps from the lake. Beautiful sunsets and sunrises along with the sounds of the Loons helped make this a great spot. There is hardly any light pollution at night which make the stars so brilliant, we were amazed at how many shooting stars we saw during our stay. Sarah greeted us shortly after we arrived to check in to see if we needed anything, she was super friendly. We met some other people who worked there and they were very friendly too. I highly recommend this place to camp especially if you have a dog because it's dog friendly! We will definitely be returning.

This is our second year camping on Sarah’s land. Last year we stayed in lake view and this last time we stayed on Island view, which is larger and more set back but we loved both. Honestly, we plan this little end of the year stay as a time to unwind at the end of the Summer and that is exactly what we did! I curled up on an Adirondack chair and read a good book. My husband took out the canoe and did some fishing and my niece swam right from our site. This is the easiest, most worry free camping trip ever and Sarah is so thoughtful. We hope we can stay again next year!

I had read the reviews before coming and it’s seemed great. But when I arrived it was even better than expected. I was the only camper for the majority of the week and the only sounds I heard in the night were loons. There was everything I needed right there, the bed was comfortable and the tent was roomy. Porta potty was clean and right on the other side of the road. The water was warm and clean and hardly any traffic on the water. Sarah was super welcoming and informative. She checked in here and there to see if I needed anything. When I woke up to a dead car battery she was there in five minutes to help jump my car. I have camped all over Maine and this by far my favorite spot. Can’t beat the location and there is a store in walking distance. Pizza and coffee is a short drive. 5 stars in my opinion I’ll be back next year!

Steve's place was very easy to find and access. It was the perfect stopover on an 8 hour trip home. The pictures don't do it justice. There's a line of beautiful large trees to park under and the breezes were wonderful. Steve checked in with us ahead of time and upon our arrival. He had good recommendations for local restaurants, also.

By far, the cleanest, most up to date, and we'll cared for campground we have tried this summer. The hosts were pleasant and friendly. They offered us drinks after our long drive. The music on Saturday night was outstanding, even though it was not my style. We had a great time. I'd recommend Pine Ridge to couples and adults as it is geared toward this crowd. Not really a "kids campground". But that's what I liked about it. Very respectful campers with smiles and a friendly hello.

Weekend Trip to Pine Ridge Campground

I cant say enough great things about Pine Ridge, I originally came because I heard they had nice showers, I arrived and booked a second night on the spot. I heard about the Saturday festivities (great live music, a wicked good bon fire, and a great food truck) the owners were some of the most friendly people ive ever met and went above and beyond to make my stay incredible. (I even booked a third night it was so good) from the second I stepped foot on the property I feel welcome and comfortable. Its clear to see the owners truly care about this place. Let me say the reviews of the bathrooms were so right, of my 30 days on the road it was by far the cleanest and nicest bath houses ive seen. 10/10 would come back again.

This is my huabands and my favorite spot. We love everything about it, and Sarah is one of the nicest people I know. She makes sure everything is perfect, and always responds quickly if we need anything at all.

What a great place to stay! So close the beach but off the beaten path. Private and secluded. Very clean, the camper has everything you need for an awesome glamping trip. The dogs had a great time too.
