Our 40-acre farm includes heritage-breed animals, organic gardens, and over 30 acres of conservation woodlands. We favor scythes over tractors--your stay will be quiet and fume-free! Bradbury Mountain and several trail networks are nearby, along with rivers, ocean beaches, and an excellent locavore food scene.
Since the early 1800s, this land on the edge of Chandler Brook has nourished bodies and spirits alike. Sloping pastures meet well-managed woodlands, making this a haven for both humans and wildlife. Since the 1980s, we have worked to restore the soil and make a "hand-built" life as farmers using pre-industrial organic methods. We maintain pollinator habitats, tend an orchard of heirloom-variety fruit trees, and conserve rare heritage-breed animals, including Tamworth pigs and Scottish Highland Cattle. Our shared love for Celtic folk culture has blended naturally with our love of sustainable agriculture to create Tir na nOg Farm. Today, the work of restoration continues with the help of farm partners, family, friends, WWOOFers, and other volunteers. This land is already better than we found it, but we hope it will remain a gathering-ground of culture and agriculture, tradition and innovation for generations to come.

Our Overnights and weekly sites are primarily designed for guests participating in our educational Tours and Wolf Camp/Retreats. If space is available, we will allow non tour guests to stay once approved.
It is required to call for availability and to answer our confirmation questions. Freezing conditions exist from November until early May. No water access until freeze is over.. Daylight disappears early during the Winter gps is sketchy.
If you have adequate gear for the conditions we allow all season camping. Submitting a request does not finalize or guarantee a reservation, property approval is required. . Before you make a reservation read the description of each site. Read all of the info, and when you submit your request please include/verify the following info: Is everyone in your group at least 21?/No kids or pets with you.? What sort or camping unit.? Tent/RoofTent/RV/Hammock/Trailer./Van./ Bus etc? Calling, directly by telephone in advance is mandatory to arrange your arrival appointment.. Clarity with your request is necessary. At check out look at the “extras” section to include any pre purchases or rentals.
The sounds of the night are magical here. The Biker’s Bunkhouse is ideal for motorcycle travelers as it shelters both the guest and the Bike/s. With each listing be sure to READ all the information and the rules. If you are interested in a spontaneous camping adventure, if your luggage got lost or if you just don’t want to deal with transporting camping gear we have a variety of rental equipment. Last minute reservation requests may not work via the reservation site but we may very likely have a space. Any questions, call two zero seven six six seven three two four four, calling the property is required. It is important that you also check back to your app to see if they ( hipcamp) have sent you communication pertinent to your reservation.

3 nights at Camping With Wolves, Acadia Area
This was my second stay at the Biker’s Bunkhouse, and it was just as awesome as the first. I spent three nights in the cozy barn tucked close to the wolves, and it was incredible drifting off to the sound of their howls at night. Heather is an attentive host who makes sure you have everything you need. I slept great, felt completely relaxed, and can’t wait to come back.

We had a phenomenal time car camping under the stars here. Heather was a phenomenal host and saved (quite possibly MADE) our trip. A last minute booking led to one of our favorite memories together. We lit a fire and stargazed in her peaceful yard. Heather provided everything we needed to make the night unforgettable. Would definitely recommend you make staying here a priority. The folks at the farm were super kind and it was so incredibly peaceful there! We got to watch the baby highland cow get bottle fed which was such an awesome surprise! Very easy to access from Portland too! I highly recommend going to Elevensies too if you're there on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday!

This place was perfect! Truly a campers dream, the owners are welcoming and it is exactly as advertised on the app! I loved how quiet it was and secluded it felt! The farm animals added an extra dimension to the whole experience I really enjoyed waking up to them. The well water was amazing! Will definitely be back next year for the same event I was attending this year!

Holly's farmstead hipcamp spot will be a place we will always have fond memories.
Holly was very welcoming and accommodating showing us around when we arrived after dark. The night ski was beautiful and falling asleep to the sounds of nature was soothing. In the morning my teen son and I walked around the Farm and visited and watched the animal. It is a a spot where kids and adults can unplug from media and be immersed in nature.

What a great place! If you're very lucky (and dedicated), you might be able to book a place inside Acadia N.P. Or you could just stay here, be only 10 miles from Acadia and be surrounded by wolves (and other animals). Plus, Heather and BJ are absolutely lovely people. Highly recommend!
