This was a sweet place to stay. Krystal was a wonderful host and I enjoyed spending time around her horses and pups. The place was very close to lots of great hiking and a short way to Lincolnville Beach. I would definitely recommend!

Julia’s place is everything that is described. The pictures are accurate- it really is that peaceful and quiet. It was very private just as promised, but with easy access to primary roads. A really nice touch was the firewood that she provided. All the necessary amenities were there.

Absolutely incredible! Would definitely book again. We got lucky enough to have the whole camp to ourselves. We brought the kayak down to the water (about a 5 min walk) and paddled around all afternoon. Little walking trails all around the property. Grill for cooking and plenty of fire wood although I did bring my own. Quiet but close enough to town. Super response host and beautiful land. Thank you for having us!

Very private the view is wonderful we saw deer and turkeys. The concrete pad was easy to set up on and power water electric is right there. The concrete pad needs to be resurfaced when it rained it had deep standing puddles. We will be returning for sure as it is a beautiful place to relax and visit Belgrade lakes.

Very nice campsite located in a meadow setting on a level concrete pad with full hookups. Very quiet and plenty of room to spread out. The site was nicely kept and hookups were in good order. I would recommend this HipCamp.

What an awesome place right on the river! We made a 10 minute drive up to Lovewell pond and floated in our tubes all afternoon right back to our camp! We tent camped and brought everything we needed but had we not Erik had offerings for grilling, an outdoor sink, picnic tables etc. (Also provides the cleanest porta-john ever!) There is also a convenience store a mile and a half away. The beach area off this property was amazing, a nice shallow section leading into a deeper swimming area. The river here is all sand and completely clear of rocks/debris etc. Thank you to Erik, for sharing this beautiful land!

My husband and I camped in our fifth wheel on Colleen’s land. We stayed with our two dogs, who loved running in the field. The land is beautiful, peaceful and very private. This spot is truly a slice of heaven.

After staying in Acadia national park busy Campgrounds it was so nice to come here and unwind with lots of space and privacy with full hook ups. It was close to great hiking and sightseeing. We enjoyed Baileys Island just a short drive away. Julia was very responsive, welcoming, and accomodating.

Very peaceful, really nice to have the whole place to yourself. Tons of space for the dogs to run around. GPS takes you right to the entrance. Only issue was the breaker kept tripping for the power. Ended up running water heater on gas. No more issues.The breaker is only 20amp and feels very worn out. Will definitely stay again

Super safe, quiet and comfortable location. Krystal was a great host. was able to ride my bicycle to some fairly awesome trails and she recommended some good hiking trails for us. our dog was able to hang out off leash. He really enjoyed hanging around the horses.

Cardinal’s Corner was the perfect getaway! Very secluded and peaceful — just what we were looking for. The open field gave the kids and dogs plenty of space to run and play. We also discovered a great little beach and swimming area about 25 minutes away, which was shallow and ideal for young kids. Highly recommend if you’re looking for quiet, family-friendly camping near Winthrop!

I had a fantastic 3 nights at this site! Privacy is unmatched, you have a giant field to yourself with a concrete pad to set up on and hook up to water, power, sewer. located in a small town with minimal cell service and no wi fi so great for getting away. The fire pit was awesome and easy to cook on. I would give 5 stars if the concrete pad was redone as it is very crumbly and creates puddles when it rains. it would have been nice if there was a mowed path around the edge of the field so you could walk around. we also didn't see a brook that's indicated on the listing.
overall though had a great time and enjoyed the private getaway

We absolutely loved our stay on Julia's land. It’s quiet and private making it the perfect place to unwind and enjoy Maine.
We travel with our dog who loves people but doesn't always like other dogs so busy campgrounds can be stressful. There were no issues with that here, we had an acre + all to ourselves which made for a much more restful trip.
The location is close to some truly iconic Maine scenery—ideal for hiking, photography, or just soaking in the views.
The site itself is well-equipped with sewer, water, power which made our stay super convenient. There are trees all around but Starlink had no problem getting a signal so we were able to add an extra night and still make morning online meetings.
Getting in and out was a breeze thanks to the easy access and spacious layout. We have a 35' fifth wheel with crew cab truck and it was no problem backing into the spot.
Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with all the comforts home!
We'll definitely be back!
