Sunflower Ranch is the name of our home and property.
Not only is our cozy, modest house sunflower yellow but in August it is surrounded with sunflowers of all sizes.
We share our property with a flock of sweet hens and ducks.....and a few bossy roosters.
Eggs are available for purchase if needed. There is a little greenhouse with herbs, greens and strawberries. The field is also an apple orchard that mostly feeds the wildlife. The tent site is privately placed in our cove unseen from the house.
We wanted to offer a site that we would enjoy as well and feels like it is
in a world of its own. We spend all of our free time outside, camping and paddling the local rivers and lakes. Tommy and I can recommend many beautiful remote Maine adventures for you to experience that are located off the grid and away from all other humans.
The sweet city of Ellsworth is only 7 miles away for all of your provisions and Otis General Store is 1 mile away.. they have everything to get you through plus beer, wine, ice and homemade pizza. We can give you a pass to visit the Beech Hill Pond Beach also only 1 mile away (I walk there all the time)
which has clear water and a
sandy bottom. Great spot to spend the day sunbathing and swimming.
I can offer yoga, personal training, boxing and paddleboard lessons or SUP yoga for some onsite physical fitness fun upon request.

The Anchorage is a 4-acre cabins and motel property located approximately 0.5 miles south of Lincolnville, ME. This historic property has been operating for over 100 years.
Recently purchased by my wife and me, it is currently undergoing a rebranding and remodel. At present, there are 4 small cottages available to rent, along with plenty of parking space for smaller RVs and vans.
Cyclists passing through are welcome to reach out—we’re happy to accommodate tent camping as well. Services such as showers are limited at this time.

Lily’s A frame was absolutely perfect! She had it stocked with miscellaneous camping supplies which helped lighten the car load and short walk from the car to the A Frame. The sunset views were stunning, and sleeping to the sound of the waves was such a treat. An accommodating way to “camp” as the temps were getting cold!

Loved the seclusion of the site. Views are amazing and we got the best sunsets. Loved hiking around the preserve and down to Schoodic point. A frame is well equipped and quiet even with some windy nights. Bed was a bit small for me plus wife, but any larger would be tough to fit in the cabin I presume; would stay again!

The a frame at The Point is magical. We just visited for our 5th year in a row. Stay a few nights. Be there for sunset every night. Enjoy the water as it comes up to your fire pit and enjoy walking along the beach as the tide goes out. Be prepared to see the stars like you never have before. We look forward to returning again.

This was my favorite campsite I’ve ever been to! The A-frame is so magical! You just can’t beat the views of the bay and the sound of the tide while sleeping. There’s so much to explore around the site and also easy access to nearby trails and Acadia National Park. Lily was so communicative and helpful throughout our stay! We had everything we needed, firewood, kayaks, etc. There were even fresh flowers in the A-frame when we arrived, it was lovely. Everything was very nice and the onsite porta potty was clean and easily accessible. Very peaceful and quiet, would highly recommend! We loved swimming, kayaking, and watching the seals every morning.

Lily’s property is stunning. She had super clear directions for parking, clean and convenient amenities, and truly unique accommodations. If you’ve ever wanted to fall asleep to lapping waves and the sounds of seals, this is the place for you. It’s convenient to lots of Maine attractions, but it was so peaceful that we never left during our stay. Can’t recommend this gem enough!

what a beautiful location!
the site was wonderful with a beautiful ocean view. it felt very private although we did see the folks in the other cabin and a few people walking down the beach.
close enough to a convenience store or restaurant if needed but otherwise it felt remote
I loved being able to cook in the firepit on thr beach, harvest mussels right on site and kayak right from there.
my only complaints are the mattress wasnt comfortable and the portable potty is a bit further away than I thought it would be

This place was magical! My dogs and I enjoyed a peaceful stop for two nights. We relaxed and recharged, swam, made dinner on the Coleman and built a beach fire. Slept well, enjoyed the sunrises and sunsets, would highly recommend.

The cabin is large and has a sleeping loft and two cots. The wood stove heats up quick and keeps you warm all night long! Love the outdoor fire pit.

Great place. Heavier than you may think to lug everything in so be prepared. Be careful about signage. We walked half a mile up hill in freezing rain for the Joe and Doe cabin but it was the wrong way.

The Pond Cabin is a sweet spot in a beautiful, mixed hardwood forest on the edge of Little Dyer Pond. The wood stove kept us warm and cozy. The Barred Owls hooting at night was a special treat.
