It is required to call for availability and to answer our confirmation questions. Freezing conditions exist from November until early May. No water access until freeze is over.. Daylight disappears early during the Winter gps is sketchy.
If you have adequate gear for the conditions we allow all season camping. Submitting a request does not finalize or guarantee a reservation, property approval is required. . Before you make a reservation read the description of each site. Read all of the info, and when you submit your request please include/verify the following info: Is everyone in your group at least 21?/No kids or pets with you.? What sort or camping unit.? Tent/RoofTent/RV/Hammock/Trailer./Van./ Bus etc? Calling, directly by telephone in advance is mandatory to arrange your arrival appointment.. Clarity with your request is necessary. At check out look at the “extras” section to include any pre purchases or rentals.
The sounds of the night are magical here. The Biker’s Bunkhouse is ideal for motorcycle travelers as it shelters both the guest and the Bike/s. With each listing be sure to READ all the information and the rules. If you are interested in a spontaneous camping adventure, if your luggage got lost or if you just don’t want to deal with transporting camping gear we have a variety of rental equipment. Last minute reservation requests may not work via the reservation site but we may very likely have a space. Any questions, call two zero seven six six seven three two four four, calling the property is required. It is important that you also check back to your app to see if they ( hipcamp) have sent you communication pertinent to your reservation.

This was a sweet place to stay. Krystal was a wonderful host and I enjoyed spending time around her horses and pups. The place was very close to lots of great hiking and a short way to Lincolnville Beach. I would definitely recommend!

This was my second stay at the Biker’s Bunkhouse, and it was just as awesome as the first. I spent three nights in the cozy barn tucked close to the wolves, and it was incredible drifting off to the sound of their howls at night. Heather is an attentive host who makes sure you have everything you need. I slept great, felt completely relaxed, and can’t wait to come back.

Sarah’s communication swift and clear. She accommodated a late ish in day request pleasantly. I appreciated the portable outhouse, dumpster, access to electricity even though I didn’t need it, water and fire pit.

We had a phenomenal time car camping under the stars here. Heather was a phenomenal host and saved (quite possibly MADE) our trip. A last minute booking led to one of our favorite memories together. We lit a fire and stargazed in her peaceful yard. Heather provided everything we needed to make the night unforgettable. Would definitely recommend you make staying here a priority. Heather’s land was beautiful. We had a great time. The atmosphere was perfect, close to everything, yet far enough to not feel like you’re in town. The accommodations were great, hospitality was exceptional, everyone was very personable and it was a fun experience! HIGHLY recommended place to visit!

What a great place! If you're very lucky (and dedicated), you might be able to book a place inside Acadia N.P. Or you could just stay here, be only 10 miles from Acadia and be surrounded by wolves (and other animals). Plus, Heather and BJ are absolutely lovely people. Highly recommend!

Heather was great and being surrounded by the animals was so cool! We stayed in the bikers bunkhouse for a few nights and it was nice. There was a clean portapotty, outdoor shower (not fully enclosed, bring bathing suits), and electricity in the cabin. We met several staff members and everyone was super nice, we did one of the tours as well and that was neat. We would recommend to those traveling in the area.

Over all a great camping trip. Heather was an amazing host and was very flexible and accommodating when my car broke down and we had to stay an extra day. I plan on going back next year but renting the cabin which was absolutely beautiful.
The firewood on site is expensive but worth it. The $4-5 stuff you see everywhere up there gets burned through in less than an hour. The large bag from here lasted all night and then some.

We had a wonderful experience at the Biker Bunkhouse. We were spoiled with our own private piece of the property behind two locked gates. The comfortable bed was lovely after a long day of exploring Acadia and Bar Harbor. Heather was so accommodating with all my extra last minute requests, I couldn't thank her enough for making our travel stress-free. We loved seeing all the animals on the farm. We were encouraged to feed the baby goats and observe the other animals from a safe distance. What a cool experience to see wolves and hear them howl at night. This place is cool for tours and campers!

This place was exactly what we were looking for! It was a step up from camping, as the bunkhouse provided protection from the bugs, heat, and even had electricity to charge our phones. However, it was still rugged enough to feel like we were camping. The campsite even had a fire pit and they had wood for sale on the property. The hosts were very friendly and willing to talk to you about the animals. The place was very secure from both the animals and other people. The porta potty was very clean. The cabin room was actually nicer than the hotel we had stayed at the night before. The location was very nicely located between the park, bar harbor and town accommodations like gas or Walmart (in case you need to get food to cook). We would stay here again, and it was a great way to beat the crowds. Thank you for having us!!

Super safe, quiet and comfortable location. Krystal was a great host. was able to ride my bicycle to some fairly awesome trails and she recommended some good hiking trails for us. our dog was able to hang out off leash. He really enjoyed hanging around the horses.

Great location for exploring the Bar Harbor area without all the crowds and congestion.
Locked gate provides security and access was hassle free with use of your own key. Minimal personnel contact for check in and check out. BJ and Heather were wonderful hosts, we will be returning soon and hopefully often!
