Our remote 375 acres part farm and part natural woodland nestled up to Daniel Boone Forest is ideal for hikers and nature lovers. There are several hiking trails onsite and plenty of woods to explore. ATVs or side by sides are welcome to be used on the main gravel roads and some designated areas of our property. There is plenty of wildlife but NO hunting is allowed. Some of our designated tent sites do have firepits and/or picnic tables. Our trek in sites do not have those options. Pets are welcome for $10 per pet/per booking and they do need to be leashed/under control at all times. This is an extra so please be sure to add that if you plan to bring your pet. Please pick up after them. We are a short driving distance from West Liberty, Cave Run Lake, Grayson Lake, Carter Caves, Morehead, Natural Bridge and Red River Gorge. We are approximately 20 minutes from the nearest store so you'll want to come prepared. We are located in West Liberty (Morgan County). There are 2 centrally located bathhouses with toilet, shower and sink and a hose for potable water. We have firewood for sale for $20 per stay and is an extra option when booking(use what you need during your stay and it is centrally located near bath houses) you can bring your own and you are welcome to gather from the surrounding area but please do not cut down any living trees/limbs. There is a centrally located community building with a Wifi hotspot, streaming TV, Keurig, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster/air fryer, swing set, foosball table and darts.

We're a family that loves to camp; and while we love a stop at a KOA or community campground, we sometimes crave quiet time in nature without the noise and distraction of other campers. That's what makes The LAAAAND so special. The property is comprised of 50 pristine acres, with a mix of fields and woods, that bump up against another 250 acres owned by our family friends. The southern perimeter of the property is all cliff line, so you feel truly remote. The possibilities of sound pollution are limited to a far-off dog barking, horses being ridden down a nearby trail, or the possible hum of a distant lumber yard. Other than that, you'll mostly hear the wind rustling trees, deer and critters making their way through the woods, and possibly a waterfall at certain times of the year. Oh, and you will absolutely hear whipoorwhills, most likely at a time you'd rather not (we've decided they're charming). This is a beautiful piece of property in the Red Lick Valley with a combination of pastures and deep woods. It is absolutely beautiful all year around. Pitch your tent in our secluded area along Locust Branch Creek. There are spots available with shade at least part of the day and direct access to the creek. You can walk the creek bed, rock hunt, listen to the creek pass by and enjoy the serenity of nature. This is in the corner of our 540-acre farm which was once part of the Locust Branch School. Here you are welcome to hike the fields and woods. We have rustic trails in the woods and pastures you can explore. This is part of a farm, so we have dogs, horses and other animals. These include Highland cattle, Idaho pasture pigs, mini donkeys, goats and more! You will also likely see us out working. This campsite is a double capacity with full hookup, located in a rural community halfway between Jackson and Salyersville on Highway 30 East. The site is close to the road; however there is much woodland to explore located on the property. We have small waterfall and a natural rock formation that can be hiked to. There is a shoal a very short walk from the campsite that is a wonderful place to enjoy the creek! There is great cellular service if your device uses Verizon towers, as there is a tower on the property. This is the perfect place to come and relax if you are visiting the area. It is approximately 12 miles from a small town with local restaurants and convenience stores. Our farm raised , dry aged black angus beef can be purchased if available; please check availability by calling a few days prior to your stay. You may also purchase firewood that was harvested from our property which is a certified tree farm. Our cattle are raised on another of our properties located a few miles up the road. We would be happy to schedule a time to take you there to see where they are born and raised.

No wonder you have 100% on your reviews. The property is beautiful and the view overlooking the Daniel Boone National Forest is amazing. The camping spot was easy to get to with my Pickup truck and 16’ Sunray Sport Camper. The areas to hike and explore are well marked and there’s plenty of rock features to check out. Also not far from the Red River Gorge area to check out the Rock bridge and the Nada tunnel. Thank you for sharing your amazing property!

Very pretty and secluded. Beautiful fall colors, be aware of falling acorns in the fall. The first time one hits you camper its loud 🤣 had some wild turkeys hanging around that were cool. I wish they had a trash can by the gate for when you leave, that would be helpful. We enjoyed our stay and the quite solitude of nature.

We loved tent camping on this land not too far from Red River Gorge hiking. The deck offered a great place to sit and watch the sunset. There was a great short path to an overlook, too. Directions were helpful and easy to follow. A very quiet nights rest.

Possum Ridge Ranch is amazing. We camped at Oak Ridge and loved the site. We also explored a bit and walked down to Little Falls which was beautiful. Liz was very nice. The bath houses are clean and a nice surprise while camping. Would definitely recommend and camp here again.

This was our second October on the laaand, and it surpassed the first in terms of tranquility, vastness, and density. It perfectly meets all the criteria, and to top it off, it’s just a short drive into the gorge, providing an array of attractions and amenities that might pique your interest.

Little grove of trees was a perfect place to set up the hammock.

My family and I loved this area for camping. It’s a beautiful property with some hiking trails if you love nature. I liked how spread out the campsites were, especially with having kids. Liz was a good host. She was very friendly and replied quickly to any messages. I liked the community area she had and the bath houses were nice. I will definitely be planning another trip out that way again.

My partner and I had the best time at Jamie's campsite. He has a beautiful property, our campsite had a gorgeous 360° view of the changing colors and rolling hills, and it was extremely peaceful. We met his lovely horses and his sweet dog, Baby, came to spend time with us one morning. Overall, I'd highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing place to camp and anyone wanting to be close enough to all of the Red River Gorge action.

We had an incredible time staying on this property on the Peachtree lot. Liz is an amazing host! She couldn't have been more accommodating and kind. She has the cleanest and homeiest feeling bath houses we've ever used at a campsite. There is even a little community hangout area with vending machines, a microwave, coffee, ice bags, a foosball table, and some other little conveniences. As for getting to the ranch, it was straightforward. Google brought us right to her road and following her directions took us right to our lot with no issues. They have nice signs guiding you all along the way and everything's easy to make out. The drive itself is absolutely gorgeous out to her place and the ranch itself is peaceful and full of unexpected surprises. Liz told us about lots of places and things we could explore on the ranch and she also mentioned Hell's hole. If you are up to the challenge, take the hike down hell's hole and see if you can make it down to the river. It's unbelievable what some people have right in their backyard, and the fact that Liz shares it with us is such an awesome gift. I brought my 8-month-old puppy along and he had the time of his life chasing and sniffing everything he could out on her property. We will definitely be back sometime to check out more of the Red River gorge area and more of the possum ridge ranch itself. Plus it's just beautiful driving through that area. Thanks Liz!!

Possum Ridge Ranch was even better than advertised! Liz was a great host. There was a central bath house and community center was awesome! Have stayed at plenty of hip camps but this one by far was the best. Lots of trails to see, beautiful views, clean as can get, and worth every minute! We will be back.

This spot is so special and tucked away! Shady and cool, beautiful views, paths to walk around and explore. An amazing platform deck with 4 plastic Adirondack chairs included, and a picnic table, as well. A couple of good trees to hang a hammock from. I enjoyed hearing and looking for all the birds around! We felt very safe and secure. The entrance gate at the front can lock you in. About 30 minutes north of all the Red River Gorge has to offer, with a fun trip through the Nada Tunnel to get there! We stayed 5 nights and still hated to leave!
