We live on a 15 acre farm. We have a barn, and a fenced in yard for the dogs. Much of the acreage is fenced off for cows. We have a small vegetable garden in the spring and summer and a large flower garden space in progress. There's a small pond on the property. In additions to cows, we also have chickens, barn cats, and dogs. We have a second driveway and half-circle drive for parking a camper or car, as well as flat spaces to pitch a tent.
There is fishing nearby at the Amarugia Highlands Conservation Area and the city park.

The Couple's Cabin is a part of the rustic Cabins of Lakeview by Sue Barn Venue. With its own lake-view porch too, it holds a maximum of 3 guests (including the ladder-accessible loft for one). Along with a well-appointed inside, we have chairs on the front porch for lake viewing and a grill for outdoor cooking too. There is also the Rustic Duck, a wonderful restaurant and art gallery, just a short walk away. Enjoy our little lake! This peaceful countryside cabin has a nice little lake just right for fishing just steps from the front door from which folks have caught catfish, bluegill, crappie, and bass. The Appleton City Lake does not allow swimming. It does not allow boats with motors. However, you could bring a kayak if you wanted. We have a community fire pit and picnic tables too. The grill is electric with pellets. We provide firewood for the pit and pellets for the grill.

We are a little over one mile down a level gravel road and just 3.5 miles total from the small town of Appleton City where we have a little restaurant, Caseys, a very nice little grocery store (closes 7 pm), coffee house (mon-sat 8 am-11 am), and Dollar General (closes 9 pm). I live nearby on the property and am available to greet you when you arrive.
Other things to note
Appleton City is a small town. If you are coming in late, you may want to stop on the way to pick up food. We have a few stores in town, but some folks are caught off guard to find out the stores close early. But Caseys has sandwiches and assorted quick items and is open until 11 pm.

We are on 7 beautiful acres in Baldwin City, KS. We're in town, but you'll feel like you're secluded in the country so you get the convenience of being close to downtown Baldwin, just 3 minutes away, while also feeling like you're in the middle of nowhere peacefully camping, just you and the birds. Our "glamper" is a 1960's retro camper that has been fully restored. The outside still looks very retro, but when you step inside you'll instantly surrender to the relaxation that awaits. Such a fun weekend campground for our family. The kids loved the farm animals, there were baby goats that the kids were in love with and gave them lots of snuggles. We rented fishing poles and a kayak and paddle boards, and paid 15$ for all the firewood we could burn. The owner and staff were helpful, even bright the firewood and got the fire going for us.
The only downside is that they are right next to a train track, so be prepared for some train horns.

Loved the camper at ducks landing. The property was beautiful Sarah was very thorough with all her explanations to ensure had the best experience on her property. It was below freezing the entire time we stayed and the heat in the camper kept us more than comfortable she left extra blankets which we didn’t end up using and also she left us extra water since the pump sink was frozen. Had a great time kicking back by the fire on a beautiful cold night in Baldwin city. We can’t wait to travel through again.

We showed up with 4 kids between the ages of 5 and 12, and he pulled no stops entertaining them, including walking his horse down to our campsite for the kids to pet. We were honored to be some of the first hipcampers to stay at this property! The hosts were so friendly and welcoming and readily answered every question we had. All amenities were as described, and they even offered to start a campfire for us upon arrival. There are plenty of scenic views to take in, and the hosts provided a variety of seating and shelters around the property. A detailed guide was provided that gave instructions to electronics in the camper, as well as suggestions for local outings, and was much appreciated!

We truly loved the campsite, it was very peaceful and the scenery was beautiful. The staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back again to enjoy another camping weekend.

We had an amazing weekend camping at Lake Georgia-Sue, staying at Tom’s Meadow campsite. The whole experience was wonderful. Our kids especially loved all the animals (goats, horses, and even a pig!). We spent our days kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, and enjoying campfires in the evenings. The clubhouse was just a short walk away and had everything we needed. Fred was a fantastic host, super helpful and welcoming. We absolutely plan to come back and hope to make this a family tradition!
