1 night at ♥ Uncle Bob's Backwoods Preserve

Taylor's site is as-advertised, is in a quiet but convenient location to the Indy/Noblesville region and was everything we needed. Taylor was great on communication and went above and beyond the call of duty when our van got stuck in soft earth from recent heavy rains in the area: he pulled us out with his truck and gave us a dozen fresh eggs from his chickens for the trouble!

Weekend Trip to Private & Quiet RV Campsite

Kurt is absolutely welcoming and accommodating. Often times when we go to State Parks and some Hip Camps we feel like we are more of a bother than a guest. This was the exact opposite with Kurt. He greeted us when we arrived but gave us our space. He accommodated us when we had a couple of special requests. Kurt’s property is absolutely stunning. As far as the site itself, he thought of everything from making sure that the approach to the site makes for an easy back in and departure. The electrical, water, and sewer connections are new and placed perfectly for most RV’s. The pad is a well packed, level gravel pad that handled rain like it never happened. We will stay with Kurt again. Thanks Kurt!

We loved the open space between sites. The campgrounds were very clean and welcoming. Brian stopped by to introduce himself and welcome us. We arrived early after asking permission so we could hike the 5 miles of trails in the woods. We saw deer, turkey and lots of birds. Great place to relax.

We had an amazing time. Brian was respectful of privacy, but on the spot when called. We had an amazing, quiet, peaceful weekend. The trails were perfect for de-stressing without the mountain climbing. We will be back.

Allen’s campsite is perfect. Listening to the river flow is super relaxing. Not a single bad thing to say. There’s a bald eagle nest by the campground, which is pretty cool. Watching them fly around was majestic. 100% recommend this spot.

Extremely quiet, beautiful and lots of friendly furry animals. The directions for the RV site were a little hard to follow, but we found it easily enough. The interactive farm map was not very easy to use and since it’s a complex you really need a map. We did pay extra for an alpaca tour and firewood but there was no one there. When we called the host, he didn’t seem to know anything about it and wasn’t there but had his nieces deliver some wood eventually. Had to cook our steaks over a small camp grill instead of the fire because we couldn’t wait any longer. Lots of very friendly kitties to defend dinner from. They almost got our meal at one point. .

The farm was both peaceful and exciting place to stay. This was my first time I took my husband and 3 kids on camping at the same time and I was not as prepared as I like to be. Jenifer and Forest were very generous and accommodating when we had needs. We loved their friendly animals and a little purring visitor at the camp site. Easter egg hunt was a great surprise! Bonus - There is a petrol station within walking distance for last minute shopping. (It’s nowhere to be seen from the camp site)

Had a fabulous time at our location. I was there to film for my Outdoors Unsupervised channel with a friend and will be back in the warmer weather to enjoy the fishin'. We were there for cold campin' and cooked some amazin' meals over the fire while watchin' geese, bald head eagles, wood peckers, crans and more. I'd highly recommend this quiet retreat in a heartbeat. Allen the property owner was very fast at replyin' to my messages and I thank him for answerin' all my questions I had to feel comfortable about bookin' at this location.

My brothers visited for Friday the 13th and could not have had a better experience! Not only were Nikki and her husband so kind to greet us late in the evening, but they also brought us hot chocolate to keep us warm. The lake, ambient cabin, and full moon made the night perfect for DnD - will be returning during the warm months!
