Weekend Trip to Seven Stars Alpaca Ranch LLC

The site we stayed at was fabulous. It had a great view of the farm and the meadows yet it also had a nice view of the trees /woods that surrounded the area. There was a lot of activity yet it was also peaceful and serene. The goats and al pacas were fun to watch from our camp spot. Nice walks to go on. It is a dry camping but they have potable water if you need it (we did not as we brought our own) and they have porta potties as well. There's a lot to do here or just relax and rejuvenate. We had a great time and we will be back

1 night at Hidden Acres Orchards

The place was very picturesque. Bathrooms at first were a bit hard to find being that we were thrown off by the caution tape around the outside bathrooms. It would have been nice if the shower had a light of some kind to use at night but it was a decent shower overall. It can get pretty muddy due to the morning dew, could have been the time of year we were there though.

2 nights at Riverview Woodland Retreat - CDA

The hosts at this site are very helpful. The neighborhood is safe and it features a nice Riverview of the Spokane river. The site is easy to get in and out of and there is much to do in the area. It feels private in spite of being in a residential area. There is a slight navigational confusion with the road name. The address with hip camp said "North foothills" and Google maps identified it as "west foothills". The Google directions took us to the correct foothills, whatever that is.

1 night at Hidden Acres Orchards

We stayed one night in our class B camper van. It was quiet and the country vibe was wonderful. Orchards, animals, quaint little shop on site. We enjoyed e biking from this location around Green bluff. We were checking it out to return with grandchildren. We will return and the kids will love the animals and the playground.

Camp within the luscious fruit tree rows, in the middle of a vibrant pumpkin patch or even in the petting zoo! Animals welcome! IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO KNOW: We are a real working farm, not like a romanticized IG version of a farm. There are tractors running, sprayers making applications, farm animals loudly enjoying life, day customers picking fruit, and farmers about early in the morning. With that being said, we understand that experience may not be to everyone's liking. Be aware that if you do decide to camp here be ready for a real farm adventure! Another little tidbit: to grow food, we try to maximize the amount of sun it receives- SHADE IS VERY LIMITED. ALL CAMPSITES ARE U-PICK, there are no designated spots. Let your creativity shine and choose as dope a spot as you like! If you're scared of driving off a paved road or frightened by the natural world we suggest glamping at another lovely Green Bluff location. Starting SEPTEMBER 23RD until OCTOBER 31ST every weekday we host hundreds of school kids on the farm. They start arriving around 9:00 am. If the sound of children's laughter drives you absolutely insane, you might think twice about booking a stay with us in the fall. Winter camping is available, please note we typically receive a lot of snow. Early spring is the extreme mud season, please be cautious of our soft ground and stick to the roads. July-August can get very dry some years, which means the grass goes dormant and dust starts to fly. MAX STAY IS 14 DAYS. No Side by Sides (UTV's), dirt bikes, or ATV's allowed to be rallied on the property. We can suggest close spots to rally. Riverfront Base Camp

Park your RV, overland rig, pitch a tent, or sleep under the stars next to the Coeur D’ Alene River. Be advised this is directly next to State Highway 3. If you are a light sleeper, or road noise bothers you, this is not the campsite for you. At the camp, you can launch your kayaks at the river to go for an adventure down through the Chain Lakes, all eight are accessible by the river adjacent to where you will sleep. The bird and wildlife watching in this area is world class. Ospreys, hawks, turkeys and other animals commonly hang out in these parts. You can go for a swim at one of the sandbars, take your dirt bikes or side by sides down Killarney Lake Road to access an extensive network of trails and dirt roads into remote wilderness. There is no cell service, no water or electrical hookups, or toilet. As beautiful as it is, your experience will not be “glamping” unless you come with all the comforts you personally desire. You can hunt on the forest service land by 4th of July Pass, fish on the river, or on the Chain Lakes (with the proper permits, of course). There is a access into the water from camp but it is quite steep. For easy access to the water, use the docks or boat launch at Killarney Lake or Bull Run. Pets and kids are allowed at your own risk. Be advised the highway and river are hazardous for off-leash animals and rambunctious toddlers. Please send a message if you have any questions. I am happy to help.

Legend has it Bing Crosby sang in the barn himself after a long summer bucking bales in Cheney. We are close to Turnbull Wildlife Park and a few local fishing lakes: badger lake, williams lake, and amber lake. The town of Cheney is a great place to stock up and bicycle the fish lake trail.

Two miles to the East is Lake Coeur d'Alene with great boating, kayaking, and fishing. Loffs Bay has a public boat ramp and lake access. This is not a good site for RV's! It is great for a jeep/subaru/small SUV. The trees are 12 feet apart and turning around would be difficult with an RV or trailer! The drive/road is shared so all vehicles (2 max) must be pulled off the road and into the designated area.
