Easy to check in, came late and Mike helped provide me some light so I could set up my tent. He was very friendly and helpful. Everything was pretty much as advertised. It was a bit for me to sleep because dogs were be barking at random times thru the night. If you’re a heavy sleeper it shouldn’t be a problem.

Such a beautiful location! We stayed here for family weekend for WSU and it was perfect. The hosts were great with communication and we had everything we needed. Maps gave us different ways to travel from WSU to the location and we found the one we liked best was going through Moscow, it was the least time on gravel roads, although the gravel road drives were beautiful too.

1 night at Crooks Lookout

Easy to find and was pleasantly surprised on how nice and clean our site was, the bathroom and shower were a definite bonus. We really liked the spot but you are a stone’s throw from U.S. 95 and south bound traffic are going uphill so some rigs can be loud going by. Travis’s dog is perfect at making you feel welcome and greeted us with a wiggling butt.

I love camping on Matt’s land!! Nice and quiet. They leave the light on for you 😂 I’m scared of the dark so glad they leave the light on for me. The best part is the kittens!!!!! I love them! I recommend Matt’s place if your ever in the area and want the farm life with the quietness. Love how the cows moo when I get home from work. I moo back 😂

2 nights at Crooks Lookout

We were here on business so were gone during the days but we enjoyed staying here and consider it a real find. we loved the privacy, fire pit, lighting, full hookups and view. It has a full bath that we did not use. Some have mentioned road noise but honestly you only hear it during the day as traffic is low at night. We slept well. Travis was fast to respond to our last minute booking. Would definitely stay here again.

Learn more about this land:4 acre camp site on pasture land bordered by forest on a working farm. You can come participate in some farm life, or enjoy your space. We are a small 4 generation goat, cow and sheep dairy, we also have chickens, ducks, sometimes pigs, turkeys, quail, turkeys, horses, mules, and rabbits. Circling Raven Golf course, Heyburn Park, Coeur D Alene Casino Lake Coeur D Alene along with several boat launches and biking or hiking trails are less than 10 miles from the camp site. Easy 30 mile drive to Coeur D Alene or Spokane, or you can take a nice drive to St Maries, the St Joe, Moscow for one of the best Farmers markets. The property has a pond close and it brings with it, wildlife for a early morning drink.Local farmer market is on Thursdays a few miles away. This area is filled with historical sites and a great area to explore. We are pet friendly, but pets must be kept on a leash or fence.

We are on 20 acres and have developed ¾ acre for camping. Badger drive is just off a well-maintained gravel county road. We are less than 15 minutes from St Maries, where you will find dump sites and water refill station at the fairgrounds or at Ed’s R & R. There are 2 grocery stores, gas stations and a UTV rental place called Northwest Outdoor Rental Co. There is also Hidden Gem Resort and arcade where you can rent kayaks. In St Maries you can find easy access to the St Joe and St Maries rivers. 9 miles west of St Maries is Heyburn Park where you will find multiple hiking trails, access to Chatcolet Lake (which is at the south end of the Coeur ‘d Alene Lake system). Outdoor recreation options are limitless in this area. Coeur ‘d Alene is an hour and a half north from our property and Moscow is and hour and a half SW of our property. We are 2 miles from State land and a 25-minute ride on an ATV to the St Maries River. The area is abundant in wildlife: elk, deer, coyotes, cougars, moose, rabbits, grouse, badgers and more. There are 3 RV sites tucked into the trees, a large open tent site and a second tent site that is in the trees. There is a pull around drive to access the sites with a large, shared grass area in the center. Things are still in development so currently it is dry camping only. There are water spigots at each site but only for fire suppression if needed as water is not potable. RV sites are graveled with plenty of room to park your truck. Our home is approximately 300 yards up from the camping area and we have neighbors nearby with farm animals. So you can expect to hear roosters crowing and goats calling for more grain. We do have dogs. One of them stays penned up but the other is a guardian dog. She is friendly but keeps the other animals safe from predators such as coyotes and cougars. We allow animals but only if they are kept on a leash or in your RV.

I'm a 3rd generation farmer, working the same land as my father and grandfather. Hidden Acres Orchards is a 60 acre, u-pick fruit, vegetable, and flower farm. Camp within the luscious fruit tree rows, in the middle of a vibrant pumpkin patch or even in the petting zoo! Animals welcome! IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO KNOW: We are a real working farm, not like a romanticized IG version of a farm. There are tractors running, sprayers making applications, farm animals loudly enjoying life, day customers picking fruit, and farmers about early in the morning. With that being said, we understand that experience may not be to everyone's liking. Be aware that if you do decide to camp here be ready for a real farm adventure! Another little tidbit: to grow food, we try to maximize the amount of sun it receives- SHADE IS VERY LIMITED. ALL CAMPSITES ARE U-PICK, there are no designated spots. Let your creativity shine and choose as dope a spot as you like! If you're scared of driving off a paved road or frightened by the natural world we suggest glamping at another lovely Green Bluff location. Starting SEPTEMBER 23RD until OCTOBER 31ST every weekday we host hundreds of school kids on the farm. They start arriving around 9:00 am. If the sound of children's laughter drives you absolutely insane, you might think twice about booking a stay with us in the fall. Winter camping is available, please note we typically receive a lot of snow. Early spring is the extreme mud season, please be cautious of our soft ground and stick to the roads. July-August can get very dry some years, which means the grass goes dormant and dust starts to fly. MAX STAY IS 14 DAYS. No Side by Sides (UTV's), dirt bikes, or ATV's allowed to be rallied on the property. We can suggest close spots to rally. Need to store a camp trailer for a short period of time? The Old Weber Farm

Owned the last 100 years by only two families. The Weber family was the last to own and operate the farm for over 60 years. House was built in 1917 and the barn was added in 1925. Legend has it Bing Crosby sang in the barn himself after a long summer bucking bales in Cheney. We are close to Turnbull Wildlife Park and a few local fishing lakes: badger lake, williams lake, and amber lake. The town of Cheney is a great place to stock up and bicycle the fish lake trail.

Riverfront Base Camp

Park your RV, overland rig, pitch a tent, or sleep under the stars next to the Coeur D’ Alene River. Be advised this is directly next to State Highway 3. If you are a light sleeper, or road noise bothers you, this is not the campsite for you. At the camp, you can launch your kayaks at the river to go for an adventure down through the Chain Lakes, all eight are accessible by the river adjacent to where you will sleep. The bird and wildlife watching in this area is world class. Ospreys, hawks, turkeys and other animals commonly hang out in these parts. You can go for a swim at one of the sandbars, take your dirt bikes or side by sides down Killarney Lake Road to access an extensive network of trails and dirt roads into remote wilderness. There is no cell service, no water or electrical hookups, or toilet. As beautiful as it is, your experience will not be “glamping” unless you come with all the comforts you personally desire. You can hunt on the forest service land by 4th of July Pass, fish on the river, or on the Chain Lakes (with the proper permits, of course). There is a access into the water from camp but it is quite steep. For easy access to the water, use the docks or boat launch at Killarney Lake or Bull Run. Pets and kids are allowed at your own risk. Be advised the highway and river are hazardous for off-leash animals and rambunctious toddlers. Please send a message if you have any questions. I am happy to help.
