If you are a light sleeper, or road noise bothers you, this is not the campsite for you. At the camp, you can launch your kayaks at the river to go for an adventure down through the Chain Lakes, all eight are accessible by the river adjacent to where you will sleep. The bird and wildlife watching in this area is world class. Ospreys, hawks, turkeys and other animals commonly hang out in these parts. You can go for a swim at one of the sandbars, take your dirt bikes or side by sides down Killarney Lake Road to access an extensive network of trails and dirt roads into remote wilderness. There is no cell service, no water or electrical hookups, or toilet. As beautiful as it is, your experience will not be “glamping” unless you come with all the comforts you personally desire. You can hunt on the forest service land by 4th of July Pass, fish on the river, or on the Chain Lakes (with the proper permits, of course). There is a access into the water from camp but it is quite steep. For easy access to the water, use the docks or boat launch at Killarney Lake or Bull Run. Pets and kids are allowed at your own risk. Rocky was a super gracious and helpful host. The room was clean and comfortable and the amenities were amazing! Rocky even had s'mores stuff set out for the campfire. We really enjoyed the hot tub and hiking down by the river. Worth every penny!

Wonderful place with river views in quiet serene neighborhood of Spokane. Rocky was very helpful and check in and out was easy. The great little touches in the kitchenette with coffee included cream and milk along with snacks. We’ve stayed here twice so far with friends for a quick weekend getaway. Nice flat site, easy to set up camp and lots of trails to explore on SxS. We went out riding to the Bedroom Goldmine Bar, huckleberry picking and checked out Glideen Lake. Close to town too for going out to dinner or walk around town.

Wonderful stay with perfect views of the lake. Easy to get to, and to park. Great host. Full hook ups. Such a peaceful beautiful stay, would highly recommend!!

1 night at Burke Creekside lisa J's

This Hipcamp provided a peaceful night in a beautiful location. We did take advantage of the electrical hookup. It was 50 amp with great voltage. Water was offered, but we didn't need any. Lisa was great at communicating and was there to guide us to our site. She was very personable and interesting to talk to. We stopped in the historical mining town of Wallace close by before going to the Hipcamp and were glad we did. We wish we could've stayed longer.
