Learn more about this land: We have 125 acre farm ranch that is waterfront on brownlee reservoir. We have 5 different camping vacations options. 1 cabin to rent. 1 camp trailer on a nice waterfront lot as well as 3 camp sports 1 with water and power hook ups (site. 2 water wheel) and 2 dry camp spots. we have a spot to launch boats which is right between sight 3 and 4. Good fishing. Very little boat traffic. Very private. In the fall big horn sheep frequently rut on the property. We usually have fresh eggs on hand. Dry climate. Sage brush and juniper trees here. We have an easy to access spot to fill up water to your camp trailers or rvs. The water is from a spring and Water tastes really good. We just added a 24ft pontoon boat for rent. This area has a lot of history. Chief Joseph of the Nez Perce tribe often stayed in this area and on the property. In fact this was where his tribe met to discuss and decide to try to go to escape to Canada. This is where that journey started. You can still find arrow heads on the shoreline every so often. I’m ruffly 15 miles north of Huntington oregon. 13 miles of which is dirt road. The property sits at the base of lookout mountain. Really good cell service here with Verizon Full bars. If you decide to come camp make sure your directions take you through Huntington. Google sometimes likes to try to get people to drive over the mountain. Or if your coming from the north it sometimes wants you to go through Richland and then on 34 miles of dirt road. Going Through Huntington onto snake river rd is the easy way to go.

Hello. My name is Tamara and my husband is Andy. We bought this place in 2022 with the goal of raising animals humanely and providing good food options to purchase at reasonable prices. After moving to Ontario I noticed there are not many good options for nighttime sleep. I fondly remember camping with our kids in a location we named Neverland. We decided we wanted to create that for people. That’s why we joined Hipcamp. We have several sites that range from close to the house and bathroom access to remote in a field with the sounds of the creek to lull you to sleep. To increase safety and aid in positive memory making, only one group is allowed at a time. We have lots of space so whether you are a lone traveler, a family, or a group of friends looking to make memories consider staying with us and our animals. We generally have goats, chickens, and pigs. From July to October we have pheasants. Oh, and we have Cheese, our patrol duck, who wanders and keeps an eye on everything. He loves treats. Look us up on Facebook under Micone Ranch. Our driveway is immediately off Ontario Heights Rd. Google tells people to turn on Grand View Lane. There is no access to our property from that direction. We have a 300-gallon trash bin next to our mailbox that says camp host. Our driveway is immediately across the road from there. The bridge at the entrance to our property is 11' wide, which should allow a standard 8' RV to pass into the property. RV hook up is right off the driveway by the power pole. Ground is in its native form and only gets minimal rain. Some weeds and goatheads may be present. A small, creek runs through the front of the property year-round. Water is clearer during the winter and spring months. The spots I have cleared in this area are small. I recommend tent camping in this area. It is densely wooded. We have goats in this field; they are shy. We have goat treats available for sale if you would like to feed them. Oregon has an invasive, poisonous weed called Water hemlock. If you camp in this area, familiarize yourself with this plant so you can avoid it. Camping areas have been cleared of this plant. If you wander along the creek, you will encounter it.

The pond is an oasis for passing ducks and geese and other wildlife. Once you've established yourself enjoy a nice walk around the pond, cast a line off the pedal boat (catch and release), or enjoy a picnic on the island with the ducks and geese. Peace and quiet is all to be had here (other than the occasional bull frog croaking.) But if adventure is what you seek, adventure you will have! Known as the gateway to Hells Canyon, there are many things to do within 5 minutes to 1 hours drive. Drop into Midvale to hit the Weiser River Trail via hiking, horseback, or mountain bike (electric bikes too). Embark on an off road adventure with your UTV/ATV, or motorcycle up the nearby mountains to Sturgill Peak Lookout where you can see 100 miles in every direction. Schedule and excursion in Hells Canyon (deeper than the grand canyon) or take a dip at the local Mundo hot spring. Fishing and floating can be had at the near by Weiser river or boating at Crane Creek Reservoir. Or maybe you're looking for a base camp for hunting season. Maybe you forgot something? the Midvale Market has you covered, and they have adult beverages too, open 7 days a week. Midvale also has a nice little park and a local swimming pool. Site guidelines Respect the locals and they will return the favor. We have a great small town community that looks out for one another. You can ride recreational vehicles on most of the local roads if you choose to bring them, just be respectful of the local laws and courteous to the neighbors who live on dirt roads by keeping the dust down when you pass by. No riding off trails/roads, especially on our property! Please bring life jackets or appropriate floatation devices for children who plan to play or swim in the pond. Explore the property and feel free to pick up wood and branches from the ground for the fire pit, but please do not remove or cut down any trees, and keep fires contained in the fire pit and do not burn when it's windy. Bedding is NOT provided at this time. There is a sheet Please bring sleeping bags or desired bedding for the covered queen bed. We also just built a brand new outhouse! We are slowly adding more amenities and plan to build an outdoor shower next. We got in very late and she still came out to help us get settled and gave us great recommendations for what to do the next day. A great place to stop and stay a couple days!

The tipi's are so dreamy! Plenty of beds and blankets for everyone, plus the portable heater kept the space warm all night. We didn't want to leave the next morning, but the road was calling.

Since this picture we have added a 10x10 elevated wood tent deck so you are not sleeping on rocks :)

We loved spending the night in the tipi! We went for our son’s birthday. So clean and cute and the little extras that were in the tipi also!! The flower field near by is beautiful to check out! And even though we didn’t add on any of the extras but it was so cool that they are offered. We definitely want to go back for a date getaway.

New campground and well designed. Artifical grass was a great addition. Staff was friendly and eager to please. Trains during afternoon, but only one at early evening. Quiet enough we slept soundly with the windows open.

Weekend Trip to Upper Country Paradise Camping

The space was super clean and well maintained. It was nice location to hang out in the evening. I think we came a little late in the season for the pond, as it was quite low, but my son still had a bit of fun on the paddle boat. We did head down to Mann Reservoir (15min away), so we could bust out our paddle boards for a bit.

This has been one of my favorite hipcamps! Ron and his wife are so nice and have everything you could possibly need. Drinkable water, fire wood, electricity, bathroom, horses, italian plums and beautiful scenery! Would definitely stay here again.

The directions and instructions were spot-on but the host came out upon my arrival to make sure the site met expectations and to see if I needed anything or had any questions. The host was very friendly. They have dogs that they're trying to train to not come to campers but the dogs are friendly. The goats weren't too noisy in the night. Having the use of an indoor bathroom was delightful! And it was not hard to find. It doesn't have real level spaces if you're in a big camper though.

This was my second time here and it’s just as clean, quiet, and beautiful as last time. My dog loves the smells and freedom to roam. The place has so many little extras like the solar lights for paths at night that make it even more special. I came to try to learn some night sky photography and it didn’t diss along with stars! I will definitely be back.

The park was clean, the club house with the showers, laundry room, rest rooms, lounge and game room were all really clean and nice. Check in was a breeze, they came out and met you and took you to your space right away, easy. I’d stay there again.
