We have 125 acre farm ranch that is waterfront on brownlee reservoir. We have 5 different camping vacations options. 1 cabin to rent. 1 camp trailer on a nice waterfront lot as well as 3 camp sports 1 with water and power hook ups (site. 2 water wheel) and 2 dry camp spots. we have a spot to launch boats which is right between sight 3 and 4. Good fishing. Very little boat traffic. Very private. In the fall big horn sheep frequently rut on the property. We usually have fresh eggs on hand. Dry climate. Sage brush and juniper trees here. We have an easy to access spot to fill up water to your camp trailers or rvs. The water is from a spring and Water tastes really good.
We just added a 24ft pontoon boat for rent.
This area has a lot of history. Chief Joseph of the Nez Perce tribe often stayed in this area and on the property. In fact this was where his tribe met to discuss and decide to try to go to escape to Canada. This is where that journey started. You can still find arrow heads on the shoreline every so often. I’m ruffly 15 miles north of Huntington oregon. 13 miles of which is dirt road. The property sits at the base of lookout mountain. Really good cell service here with Verizon Full bars. If you decide to come camp make sure your directions take you through Huntington. Google sometimes likes to try to get people to drive over the mountain. Or if your coming from the north it sometimes wants you to go through Richland and then on 34 miles of dirt road. Going Through Huntington onto snake river rd is the easy way to go.

Sleeping arrangements comfortably accommodate up to five guests with one bunk bed and a futon. Bring your own bedding and pillows based on the season. We recommend zero degree sleeping bags in winter and lightweight bedding in summer. Towels are not provided.
There is no running water and no shower. We provide fresh five gallon drinking water jugs and a clean private porta potty. There is a sink inside for washing dishes.
The yurt is heated and cooled with a mini split system. We do not provide firewood for the wood stove or firepit. Firewood can be purchased locally in Crouch or Garden Valley. There is interior lighting but no exterior lighting, so bring headlamps or flashlights for nighttime use.
Cooking amenities include a two burner propane stove with cast iron griddle, a private deck with propane grill, and a fully stocked cooking setup including dishes, utensils, spices and olive oil.
The yurt is accessed by a short walk from the parking area and terrain may be uneven, muddy, snowy or icy depending on weather. In winter, AWD or 4WD with winter tires or chains is required.
We live on the property but respect your privacy completely. You will not see us unless you request assistance.
This stay is perfect for hikers, snowshoers, hunters, anglers, skiers, rafters, kayakers, off roaders and guests who want a true wilderness experience with modern comforts.

We loved staying here! Beautiful grounds with room for the kids to play. Terri and her family were so friendly and accommodating. We got in very late and she still came out to help us get settled and gave us great recommendations for what to do the next day. A great place to stop and stay a couple days!

We loved staying here! Walk out the front door and, my gosh, the view! Inside was clean, lots of little extras like books and hot chocolate and oatmeal. Easy to work with and everything went smoothly!

Weekend Trip to Secluded Off Grid Mountain Yurt
We loved staying here! It was so beautiful and peaceful and exactly what we were looking for. The yurt had everything we needed to feel comfortable! The AC and internet were great perks for such a remote spot. Wade provided super helpful instructions and was quick to reply when we had a question. We can’t wait to return!

This was absolutely breathtaking!! The long dirt road was an exciting adventure and the hosts met us when we arrived. Such a cute rustic cabin overlooking the river where you can walk and check out the area. They introduced us to the farm animals, which was such a delight. Purchased fresh ingredients from them for our breakfast and it was delicious! Lovely family and we definitely recommend! Thank you again for everything, until next time!

Our stay was wonderful. The orchard was filled with fresh fruit , that was absolutely delicious..
Terri and her husband were awesome . We even got to enjoy a great bottle of wine that Terri offered up. The property was very well kept. Even though the tent site was close to the county road we still felt safe and comfortable. We even got a helpful hand from the resident dog to set up our tent. Highly recommend Terri-land . Look forward to staying there again.

Outstanding views in all directions, and a friendly, informative host in Meredith. If you’re dry/tent camping (we were in a rooftop tent on our truck), be advised there is no shade. Keep in mind that the site is a working ranch, so their work is ongoing throughout the day. We would stay again.

We discovered this spot last summer and it was a no-brainer to schedule again for this summer's road trip. The entire family is friendly and welcoming. The property has lots of charm. If your children can't live without wi-fi (like mine) then you are covered. My children were even enticed away from their screens long enough to enjoy the glorious view of the starry night sky. For a great diner breakfast experience, check out Joe Momma's, which is not too far away in Eagle, ID.

Beautiful home & property. How was very welcoming and caring. The night was going to be cold and we have a tent and some sleeping bags but the host encouraged us to stay in her green house for warmth. That was a heartfelt gesture, we appreciated it so much. Would definitely recommend! Enough space for multiple sights and comfort.

Perfect spot! Sat just over 15th hole of Terrace Lakes. The location also had great access to trails for our dirt bikes and Rzr. Ground was level and hookups were a breeze. We would definitely stay again in the future!

We loved the yurt! We are normally tent campers, but with a newly adopted dog and an elderly dog we decided that the yurt was a good alternative this time. It was the perfect place to relax and recharge for a couple of days. It felt private, in and among all the trees. The walk from parking to the yurt was tricky for our old arthritic dog but with a little assistance he was able to make it along just fine. Having the amenities in the yurt of the AC and lighting made it extra comfortable. The stove and fridge made cooking easy. Wade was very responsive and even provided a recommendation for easy river access when we asked in the middle of our stay. We can’t wait to come back again.

Beautiful view on a sweet ranch. Horses, cows, pigs, goats and dogs and cats. Meredith had just gotten back in town from vacay when we arrived, but greeted us and showed us around.
