Our space was tidy and the utilities worked great. The only major “issue” we had was finding out how much the train would affect things. Not only are you close to the railroad, you’re close to the crossing so you are getting woken up regularly throughout the night by the train horns. The first night will probably be a bit rough for campers like it was for us and our 1 year old but just keep your white noise machines up high. Overall, a fun and clean place to stay.

They have been around 50 years and their systems were clear and my orientation was lovely and complete. The land is really happy and magical. Very nice space! Large enough to make you feel like you have privacy on a super cute piece of land tucked far off the road. Love the fact there are toilets, power options, & water. We booked a tent electric space but ended up in an rv space by mistake… but were happy for the mix up as we had access to a water spigot. We had no idea they were hosting a football game watch that night, or having live music, but even still it wasn’t too loud so we weren’t bothered by it. Would recommend for a quick, convenient getaway.

We will absolutely be back with our family to camp here. It's secluded and beautiful. Our kids had such an amazing time exploring the campgrounds and we enjoyed the peace and quiet. The hosts are very hospitable and the campgrounds were clean and just beautiful.

2 nights at Okefenokee Pastimes Cabins and Camp

If you’re going to the swamp to kayak, this is a great location. It is right across from the National Wildlife Refuge entry. I stayed in the most basic cabin, whites just two beds, a mini fridge, microwave, fire pit, and small screened porch. Cabin is the size of a bedroom, basically. Communal shower and bathroom was satisfactory for a camping experience. Don’t expect hotel quality in the bathroom, that’s not what this is about. Charlene, a caretaker, was kind and helpful. I stayed her with my adult son. Perfect for two people. We brought a portable grill to make our own food and also went to Folkston for one dinner. It is quiet and family friendly. The swamp is an amazing natural wonder.

This camp site was good for us. Quiet and right off 95. There is a business next door but all you experience is a fence and far away buildings.... no problem. Would i return? sure - for overnight it was perfect.
