We are a working farm with garden (seasonal items for purchase), chickens (egg breakfast available for purchase), ducks, rabbits, pigs, cats, and dogs.

When the "blue roof cottage by the tracks" (yes, it used to have a unique blue roof) hit the market in early 2021, we knew it had to be ours! We purchased it & flipped it into a vacation home for guests of Folkston .. and The Conductor's Corner was born. We loved camping on Ricki’s property! We booked the field & pond site, which was very beautiful. It was a bit warm down by the water so we asked to move to higher ground between the large growth trees and the breeze & sunset was so nice from that spot. Ricki was so nice and accommodating, she brought us fresh eggs and homemade jam, which were both very delicious. We loved getting to walk around the property after our long drive and see the farm animals, including the newly born calf! This place was a magical little gem & we’ll definitely will be back when in the area again!

The site was in the corner which was fine for me! Since this was my first time camping, I think the area was ok! The host did inform me of an alligator nearby which was alarming, but I never saw and took precautions against seeing it! The area was serene and quiet. The host and her husband were very friendly and sweet! I would recommend staying here whether for an overnight or several nights!!!

We overall enjoyed our time! The spot was very secluded so that was a pro. We were able to walk over by the bathhouse to sit and fish. Only negative is that the picnic table was completely destroyed upon arrival and the river was low and kayaking wouldn’t have been possible if it was high either.

When we first arrived we didn’t realize that we had booked an RV site which was in the field and lacks privacy. April was quick to find alternative sites for us to camp at and we ended up staying at one of the tent sites. It was beautiful and much more private. April’s place is dog friendly and my puppers enjoyed being off-leash. They also provided firewood at a very reasonable rate. We would absolutely stay again!
Only con was the bugs, but… that’s camping!

We loved this place so much we stayed an extra night. A beautiful, quiet spot on the bank of the While Chimney River, Belle Bluff Island campground is high on our return-someday list. Whether it’s fishing from the dock or listening to Richard, aka “The Mayor,” tell stories, this is a place to go if you’re looking to kick back and relax. Owner Ron McIntosh is a real gentleman - he graciously let us upgrade to an unoccupied larger site with a full view of the river and marsh. Two big thumbs up!

Steve and April have provided a wonderful campsite just a short drive off of I 95. Each. Amp site had a picnic table, rope lights a fire pit and a Weber. Charcoal grill. They were polite, congenial and responsive. The port a let was clean and well stocked as well. They are building out the site to include a winery which will be amazing! What a perfect spot for a night a weekend or a week!

Deep Bend Landing is a wonderful spot with quiet surroundings, clean & well kept camp spots, level, shaded, & fabulous Camp Hosts & owner! Full hook-ups. We enjoyed our peaceful days there (we stayed 9 nites) while we visited Jekyll Island, St. Mary, Brunswick & Savannah! It was a few miles further away BUT it was so quiet & accommodating. No traffic sounds, secluded private sites. Just a very comfortable atmosphere. Exactly what we enjoy when traveling. Paul & Kathy were so friendly. We will go back again some time . It’s a 10 for us!

A beautiful spot! Great location and friendly hosts. There were other campers but plenty of space for privacy. Porta potty’s were clean and easily accessible. Our dog was able to run around and even made friends with the hosts two pups!
Best part was waking up to all the birds singing from the tree tops! :)
