This 616sf not so tiny cabin is beautifuly situated on 3 1/2 acres. There is a very large front yard to be able to bring your off roading toys or boat. The back yard is securly fenced for your dogs! The community has 2 ponds alot of nature, wildlife and privacy. Nearby is Carter's lake, downtown Ellijay or Chatsworth along with many hiking trails. We are dog friendly, but no cats please. Had a peaceful and lovely stay in the meadow. Easy check in and good directions to get to the property. Josh was very responsive. There were only a couple of other campers so it was quiet. The outdoor showers are closed for the season but the heated bathroom has a shower that we used. Would return and recommend,

We had a great stay at Hertzen Platz. The tent was very spacious and as comfortable as the photos and previous guests conveyed. Gary was a welcoming host who clearly cares about the land and delivering a top-notch experience, breakfast was awesome as well!

This was a great choice for our first hipcamp. Ralph is a great host and goes out of his way to make sure guests have everything they need. Kept us supplied with firewood the entire stay. Common house and bathrooms were always clean. Would definitely recommend.

Weekend Trip to The Heart Center

My wife and I stayed in the yurt to get away from the noise and celebrate my birthday and the Heart Center truly delivered. The land and energy this place holds is incredible. Liz was a fantastic host and both my wife and I were able to have a reiki session with her while staying here. To stay it was transformational for both of us would be an understatement. Both of us learned so much from our sessions and left the Heart Center feeling lighter both physically & emotionally. We will definitely visit again in the future and Liz - thank you for what you do and putting together such an amazing place of healing and warmth admist the natural beauty of the area. Josh’s property is a beautiful place to camp. My brother and I just chose the wrong day to do it. It was cold and rainy. Josh was very kind and accommodating he gave us some extra wood for our fire that helped keep us warm through the night. We will definitely come back when it’s warmer.

Perfect for rugged camping but with shelter & a shower! Feels secluded, but you still have cell service & civilization nearby in case you need anything. Also lots of historical sites nearby. Caught a few fish in the pond & enjoyed cooking over the fire. Cabin & bathroom were clean and owners were extremely nice! Would love to come back in summer so I can enjoy the flowers!
