We raise Miniature Tennessee Fainting Goats to sell as family pets. We pasture a half dozen sheep for wool, live with several Peafowl for beauty and entertainment, and a couple dozen Guinee Fowl for pest control and more entertainment. A hundred and twenty-five chickens supply us with plenty of eggs. A dozen ducks offer up a few eggs a day as well. You can pet the goats and Baboy, our Potbellied pig. Walking in the pastures offers a glimpse at the local variety of flowers, birds, and insect life. Stay away from the dozen bee hives we watch over. This is a very quiet and welcoming place. We do have three Great Pyrenees gradian dogs roaming the property at night. They are mostly quiet but can occasionally spend a bit of the night barking and chasing predictors. Coyotes, foxes, and raccoons are better just off the property. Hang out, relax, read, and feed the goats. Monticello has some great restaurants, antique shops, a well-equipped sporting goods store, and a hardware store. If you are a cyclist, there are hundreds of miles of clay roads through the North Florida and South Georgia countryside. There are very few cars and lots of views. We have some routes to share. The clear-water spring-fed Wacissa River is nearby. Bring your own canoe or kayak, or rent one from one of the businesses at the head of the river. The Aucilla River is also nearby. We absolutely love camping at Tony's place, we stayed an extra day as well! A must visit location! This was our second time at The Fruit Factory and we loved it even more than the first time. Very tranquil environment, our 4 German Shepherds loved running through the orchards and playing in the pond. We loved sitting by the fire at night. We went to Thomasville at Tony's invitation for First Friday's... a local outdoor event with live music, restaurants, food trucks and a great time! So much fun had this past week! Will definitely be back!

Although we didn’t see your email until after we had set up I thought I remembered that I was supposed to have site 2 or 3 on the west side of the lake. Being a holiday weekend and we didn’t get in until almost dark on Friday we set up at site E3 for our stay. I must say we throughly enjoyed our time at your facility. Most of the time was spent visiting family for a reunion. When we returned to our RV it was very quiet and we happened to catch a dry week with cooler weather. Your facility was clean and mostly well kept. I didn’t get the chance to use your bathroom or laundry facilities or fish this time but we will in the future. My only concern was that the areas around the utility connections had not been cut in awhile but it was a work around and never a deal breaker. We will be back to the park in the future. The location was very easy to find using the Hipcamp directions. Each site had full hookups with easy connection access. The RV park was well keep, had hot showers and clean bathrooms. Of particular delight was the camp host and caretaker, Lewis. Lewis sorted out and fixed a problem we had with our propane system, saving us much time and dollars. We also enjoyed shopping in the nearby town, Tifton. It was charming and its antique stores full of interesting (and inexpensive) items.
