1 night at Waterfront Paradise

This little slice of heaven is absolutely breathtaking. It backs up on to the lake. Very clean and well taken care of. Sunset was beautiful. Outdoor shower works very well. Saw fish, osprey and plenty of gators.

Great campsite! Pacefull and quiet. Big space with full hookups So close to Flagler Avenue but far enough to be chill. Craig was so kind and lent me an 30/50 amp adapter that I didn’t have.

Craig was a great host, easy going and personable. Staying at Craig’s place was our second Hipcamp experience, and it was everything we could have asked for. The RV space is simply appointed with all the services, and access was unencumbered in our 24’ class-C motorhome. The neighborhood felt safe and provided a great place to walk our cattledog, Indigo. Fortunately Craig’s dog is easygoing and friendly like his “owner.” He tolerated our not so easygoing and not so friendly 11 year old Indigo girl. We would certainly stay here again should we ever find ourselves traveling down the east coast of Florida.

Weekend Trip to Patmos Island

We loved it here. It was so peaceful and quiet. The land is beautiful and well maintained and was perfect for walking our over-excited dog. It was his first ever camping trip in our new to us travel trailer, so he was already dealing with a lot of change. Having his walks be so low key instead of being in a busy campground made it much more relaxing for all of us. The site was clean, the full hookups were in excellent working order, and there's a trash can and recycling bin right on it which was super convenient. Craig was very welcoming. We felt safe and comfortable and really enjoyed our little getaway.

Quiet and peaceful. Hosts are awesome! If you want a quiet secluded place to unwind this is it. A home away from home for our RV life. We will be back!

This was an enjoyable stay! The land was nice with a mix of mature trees and palms for a nice shade. Lot 1 has solar lights at night which I enjoyed in the evenings. The privy (bathroom) was charming and something I hadn’t experienced before but very clean. The glass house on the other lot was super adorable and I will return to stay there! :) My favorite part was the host, she was sweet and friendly and has an understandable pride in her humble homestead. Both hosts are attentive and professional. I’ll be back. 😊

Nice quite portion of the owners property. Provided a nice wooden fenced area with low illumination lights. Would recommend this to anyone traveling through Florida near Kennedy Space Center.

We came out for our 1 year anniversary and had a blast! Huge fish! A zip line. Nice screened in area with chairs and a porte potty. We went adventuring in the woods which we love to do! We will definitely be back here! Sandy was the perfect host and answered all the questions we had and could recommend great places to check out!!! Thank you for the hospitality!! Almost forgot, perfectly private! 😁

Shiloh was the name of an early Florida town that was once located just down the road from our property. It was populated by hardy, adventurous folks who made a way for themselves and their families by clearing a spot along the lagoon, building a home and forging a life in a new location. But Shiloh is now lost, literally removed from the maps. It no longer exists. When NASA needed a perimeter zone for the newly emerging space program in the 1950s, the federal government purchased large swaths of land between Oak Hill and Titusville, FL. Residents were bought out and forced to move. Houses were relocated or demolished. Shiloh disappeared into history while the space-age pushed forward into the future. However... some foundations still can be found in the woods not far away, if you know where to look. There are even cemeteries that remain, whispering the names of individuals and families. As a tribute to those early adventurers, we have named our place Camp Shiloh. We honor the past, we respect the wild Florida that surrounds us, and we celebrate the future as we watch rocket launches from our porch. You are welcome to stay on the property while you explore the local communities of New Smyrna and Titusville, relax at beautiful Canaveral National Seashore, attend races in Daytona, visit amusement parks in Orlando... or whatever! It’s up to you. We are a peaceful, safe location from which you can stage your Florida adventure. Come on by. We look forward to hosting you! Learn more about this land: Park your van/small RV or pitch your tent on our rural homestead conveniently located 1000 ft off of US Hwy 1. Nearest I-95 exit is 3 miles away. It's a quiet setting behind Sacred Heart church, sandwiched between a large open field and the railroad tracks far in back behind trees. We've worked hard to make it a cozy retreat - like setting where people can spend a few nights in an affordable manner just 5 minutes from the beaches and fun New Smyrna Beach attractions. Biking, boating, sunning, fishing, paddle-boarding, kayaking, eating... all within a few minutes of your quiet retreat. Our house is on the property but it's 200 feet away behind trees/bushes. It's a 100 year old house built from the wood of a church in NSB. Lifted up on a Coquina rock wall it is quite unique. There is a large secluded area where your dogs can be run. We have dogs too but there's plenty of room to share.
