Shiloh was the name of an early Florida town that was once located just down the road from our property. It was populated by hardy, adventurous folks who made a way for themselves and their families by clearing a spot along the lagoon, building a home and forging a life in a new location.
But Shiloh is now lost, literally removed from the maps. It no longer exists. When NASA needed a perimeter zone for the newly emerging space program in the 1950s, the federal government purchased large swaths of land between Oak Hill and Titusville, FL. Residents were bought out and forced to move. Houses were relocated or demolished. Shiloh disappeared into history while the space-age pushed forward into the future.
However... some foundations still can be found in the woods not far away, if you know where to look. There are even cemeteries that remain, whispering the names of individuals and families.
As a tribute to those early adventurers, we have named our place Camp Shiloh. We honor the past, we respect the wild Florida that surrounds us, and we celebrate the future as we watch rocket launches from our porch.
You are welcome to stay on the property while you explore the local communities of New Smyrna and Titusville, relax at beautiful Canaveral National Seashore, attend races in Daytona, visit amusement parks in Orlando... or whatever! It’s up to you. We are a peaceful, safe location from which you can stage your Florida adventure. Come on by. We look forward to hosting you!

Park your van/small RV or pitch your tent on our rural homestead conveniently located 1000 ft off of US Hwy 1. Nearest I-95 exit is 3 miles away. Watch rocket launches, visit nearby beaches, attend NASCAR races, see local communities, relax at Canaveral National Seashore, birdwatch at Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge, fish Mosquito Lagoon, or visit the amusement parks of Orlando, we are a safe and quiet location from which to stage your adventures. We have two campsites. Site 1 is a nice level, grassy campsite for tent or RV, complete with a fire ring, picnic table, and firewood. Site 2 is the Glamping Greenhouse! No sewage facilities for both sites, must have black water holding tanks. I recommend stopping at a truck stop and empty the black water holding tank. Located on an acre with Grissom Pkwy in the back. Very near the restaurant "Jabbers". Great views of rocket launches, just a few miles from Publix, other shops and other restaurants. About a mile to the Indian River, about five miles to the Banana River (and Kelly Park for windsurfing or launching boats) about 12 miles to Port Canaveral and the beach at Jetty Park or better yet (my fav) Cherie Down Park. CDP is great for surfing, beach fishing, viewing rocket launches or just beach walking. While there please visit Port Canaveral's host of bars and restaurants. Also, about 25 miles to the Space Center. PLEASE! Best way onto property is go west on Canaveral Groves Blvd 1/2 mi. to Alan Sheppard, left and left again at 1st. street (Atlanta St.). Back the 1/2 mi. to Knoxville Ave where the trailer/camper entrance lines up directly with Atlanta St. GPS does NOT know if you are pulling a camper/trailer...LOL!

For RV travelers, we have a 30AMP hookup site with water access located just behind the main house. While this site doesn’t include sewage, you’ll have access to a fully renovated communal bathroom complete with a toilet and bathtub.
The sanctuary features unique spaces to inspire creativity, such as:

• Open fields for writing, painting, or meditating.

We have two campsites. Site 1 is a nice level, grassy campsite for tent or RV, complete with a fire ring, picnic table, and firewood. Site 2 is the Glamping Greenhouse! We aren't fancy, but are clean, secure, and private. You can come and go as you please, and day-trip all over beautiful central Florida!

Located on an acre with Grissom Pkwy in the back. Very near the restaurant "Jabbers". Great views of rocket launches, just a few miles from Publix, other shops and other restaurants. About a mile to the Indian River, about five miles to the Banana River (and Kelly Park for windsurfing or launching boats) about 12 miles to Port Canaveral and the beach at Jetty Park or better yet (my fav) Cherie Down Park. CDP is great for surfing, beach fishing, viewing rocket launches or just beach walking. While there please visit Port Canaveral's host of bars and restaurants. For those looking to immerse themselves in the outdoors, we offer primitive campsites where you can choose your own spot—whether it’s by the pond, under the oak trees, or nestled near the bamboo grove.
For RV travelers, we have a 30AMP hookup site with water access located just behind the main house. While this site doesn’t include sewage, you’ll have access to a fully renovated communal bathroom complete with a toilet and bathtub.
The sanctuary features unique spaces to inspire creativity, such as:
• A peaceful on-site pond with fish.
• Open fields for writing, painting, or meditating.
• Large canopies for art and music activities.
We also provide a selection of rentable musical instruments, including a piano, keyboard, cello, and guitar, to help bring your artistic visions to life.
Our sanctuary is proudly 420-friendly and welcomes guests of all backgrounds, lifestyles, and beliefs, whether LGBTQ+ or from any spiritual or religious path. However, we ask that heavier substances or disruptive behaviors be avoided to maintain the peaceful atmosphere.

From the magical Spanish moss covered trees, to the clucking chickens. Everything about this secluded paradise is amazing. Very private and tucked away. My daughter and I spent 2 nights here and had an amazing time. Plenty of room for camping activities and parking right at the camp site is a life saver. Pictures don't do this property justice. You could sit for hours watching owls and birds of all types. Sunrays glimming threw the massive trees is breathtaking. Plenty of shade all day! Will definitely try to make another trip soon.

We had a great stay at Penny Lane! Mark and his wife were welcoming and made sure we had everything (50 to 30 converter). Their land is nestled amongst pet horses, chickens and moss covered oaks. I was peaceful yet minutes from Mount Dora and several hiking trailheads.

Very peaceful at night after the activity calms Awesome view of the stars. Fire pit and charcoal grill. Firewood available for a small fee. Chairs for sitting and talking or quietly relaxing. During the day you can relax and read or interact with the goats, the donkey, the chickens and best of all the little pig. Eggs and Goat milk soap of all different scents to choose from. Eggs also for a small fee for cooking. Best of all my little dog was free off leash. You must keep them under control though. No chasing the other animals. Their dog and mine got along pretty good after they got to know each other. It was like camping out on a little farm. Canopys of Old Oak trees, large enough to go off to the less active areas or closer to the animals and friendly environment. The hosts are so wonderful. One of the best HipCamp's I've stayed at. We loved it!!!
