Homosassa is an old Florida fishing town that is a hidden gem along the gulf coast, this site is nestled quietly at the head of the river on our shared residential property. This location is close to the head springs and Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park where you can discover the wild side of Florida with endangered Florida panther, red wolf, manatee and whooping crane, plus black bear, bobcat and, of course, alligator. The site is located 150 ft from the dock on our private residential property at the head of the springs, the dock is not visible from the site you do have to walk down to the dock area. This is a residential area and is very quiet. You can see the layout of the property in the photos from an aerial view as well as other photos of the setup. This listing is for the SITE ONLY. Setup your own RV under the shade then enjoy our shared dock with direct access into the Homosassa springs for a refreshing dip or paddle. We provide full hookups (water, sewer, 50amp electric) for your RV as well as WIFI service and access to the docks for your boat or swimming. We have kayaks and paddleboards INCLUDED with our site or bring your own to paddle the springs and take a chance at seeing a manatee up close and personal or catching some fish. Excellent in town spot to set up. We stayed here for almost a full week as we were visiting family in Tarpon. Location was surprisingly quiet for being a neighborhood setting, easy access right off 19. Very level and the hook ups worked perfectly. The space accommodated our 20ft travel trailer and tow vehicle easily, courtyard area is perfect for lounging, drinking coffee or just enjoying the weather. Host was very responsive and provided an excellent welcome/instruction message prior to us getting there. Highly recommend this spot. We will be utilizing this space anytime we come into Tarpon. Thank you for a great experience! Also check out Queens Pizza and restaurant at the end of the street (2 minute walk). Great pizza and service.

It was great to have a well lighted dock to tie up our boat. The campsite was clean and kept up very well. Alondra’s place is very special indeed. Neighbors were all friendly and helpful. Alonda was available for our questions. I’m grateful Alondra gave us the opportunity to enjoy her very special beautiful piece of heaven on the spectacular Homosassa Springs of Florida.

Great spot for kayaking and enjoying the local nature. Spot was a great fit for our 28ft camper with one slide out. Make sure you have 50amp hook ups as we forgot the 30/50 conversion and had to get it from tractor supply last min but thats my fault. This beautiful space is a diamond for sure. This place will not disappoint.

We loved camping at Chuong’s land. Our travel trailer fitted perfectly with enough room to walk around comfortably. Location is super convenient. Only minutes away from the Sponges deck, Starbucks, Pharmacy, Publix., Panera! Quiet and Cozy. Access to the electricity, water and sewer super convenient as well. Place is so clean that it gives you a beach vibe. Loved it!

Very peaceful 🙏 super close to everything loved being able to access the springs right from the dock, wish it was cleaned up a bit more like the plants cut back so we could utilize the dock to swim and hang out but the bugs were a bit much , we were able to doc our boat which was awesome and our paddle boards . Lovely time and we will book again 😊 thank you for sharing your lovely site

Amazing property! This type of old costal Florida is becoming difficult to experience specifically in the area of the site. Wonderfully wildlife viewing, birds of all types especially sea/costal birds. Kayaking and fishing are world class as good as it gets anywhere along the gulf. The host is super nice and easy going. We enjoyed spending time and talking with him. You will not see many sites like this.

We were honored to be Foster’s first guests. He was an interesting and charming host. The camping site is next to his house, which is on stilts and he allows guests to use the second floor, which has great views across the marshes. The property itself is very isolated and peaceful. There is a waterfront park to launch kayaks about a 5 minute walk. We really enjoyed our time here. The property itself is a work in progress so there is some work to be done, but you don’t see it when you are looking out over the marshes. There is a Walmart and other shops a few mins away. We would recommend and will be back soon

We loved camping at Alonda’s campsite. Nice shaded lot with easy access and hookups. There was outside dining and nice packed gravel which kept inside of camper clean. The amenities offered were great. We could use back deck by canal and also use of kayaks were a fun activity. We enjoyed a nice relaxing holiday weekend stay. Definitely would come back and stay again.

Such a great spot! Clean, level gravel pad tucked behind a privacy fence with lots of room to spread out (not around the camper since it’s tight on the sides) and super cute seating areas with grill. We felt very safe and secluded even being a block away from a busy area. Host was very accommodating and quick to respond!

Great site great location. Everything was as expected. The area is gorgeous and site was close to everything a person needed to do. I was there in the beginning of May and the deer flies were a pain in the ass but the area made up for the inconvenience

We loved the place....so quiet and serene. Easy to pull in our 33 ft trailer. The water is crystal clear and we sat on the dock for hours watching the fish jump and the ducks swim by. We even saw a baby manatee ! Used the kayak and visited the swimming area and saw a few more manatees. The site is located in the front yard under trees and very private. The dock is around the back of the property. It's close to everything so if you forgot something....there is a store nearby for you.
