We live, work and play on our 33-acre homestead in Sebring, Florida. We grow 85% of our own fruit and vegetables, raise 15% of our own meat and grow 10% feed for our animals. We have pigs, chickens, cows, bluegills, bass, otters and turtles. You can catch a glimpse of wild deer, turkeys, birds, and squirrels that visit our feeders at dawn and dusk.
Our Guest House accommodates 8 people and offers 2 full baths, 1 king bed, 2 twins and 1 double bed upstairs, 2 twin beds in the loft, and a futon downstairs. There is a washer and dryer, free Internet, office space, and a fully stocked kitchen. There's a covered deck by the pond with a barbeque, sink, and entertaining area where you can kick back and relax. Guests are welcome to explore our property at their leisure.
Our property is conveniently located 2 miles away from the Sebring International Raceway. Grocery stores, state parks, recreational lakes, and golf courses are just a few minutes away from our property.

🏕️ Sip & Sage Co. – The Bougie Backyard Getaway
Not your typical Hipcamp. Not off-grid. Not remote. And not gonna lie—we don’t have goats or a mountain view... BUT we do have privacy screens wrapped around the whole space, a tree-covered backyard oasis, and one heck of a setup that’ll make you forget you're camping in a residential neighborhood. (Bonus: you can actually sleep at night without wondering if that noise was a raccoon or a serial killer.)
This vintage camper may be small, but she’s mighty. Outfitted with a futon bed + a thick 6" foam mattress, she’s cozy enough for two—but let’s be real, you’re probably coming here to escape your kids, your job, or your loud in-laws. It’s giving "she shed meets sassy staycation."
Inside:
❄️ Brand new 10,000 BTU A/C – You will get cold. You’ve been warned.
🧊 Small fridge for your bubbly or snacks (no cooking inside the camper though—this isn’t Top Chef).
Outside:
🚽 A real camping toilet with a tank (none of that bag-it-and-hope-for-the-best stuff).
🚿 Cold-water outdoor shower + a vintage clawfoot soaking tub (hello boho luxury).
🌬️ Mister fans & shaded sails – keeping it cool, literally.
🍹 A full outdoor kitchen & tiki bar for mixing drinks or just feeling like you're on vacation.
🛋️ Outdoor couch/daybed for sun naps, deep thoughts, or binge-watching if you add the optional outdoor TV setup (extra fee applies—TVs don’t like dew).
This space was designed by a mom who just needed a dang break. So Sip & Sage was born: part retreat, part glampfest, part wild idea turned into a whole vibe. There’s no bears, no bugs in your sleeping bag, and definitely no judgment if you show up with a bottle of wine and a face mask or bong and shots.
(No parties though keep it low key)
📍Located on a quiet street in a safe residential area—you might hear a lawn mower or a giggling neighbor, but you won’t hear police sirens or wild party animals (unless it's you).
So if you’re a camping newbie, a glamping goddess, or just someone who needs a little joy sprinkled on their week—this one’s for you. 💫

Tres Lagos was the perfect location for my friend from WPB and me to meet for one night in order to spread my mother's ashes in the Gulf. The Scamp was comfortable and the property was peaceful. The campers on here complaining about the smell and the condition of the trailer need to remember that it is vintage (old) and Florida is humid, so there are going to be odors and the weather will have taken its toll.

My family had a great time at John’s camp and we were all sad to be leaving. The place was clean and well stocked. John was friendly and there if you needed him but, we never felt like we were being watched. My husband and I loved being able to take our daughter on the kayaks (which were a great price), my daughter loved the trampoline and plethora of swings, and our dog loved being able to lounge on the deck with the occasional visit from John’s dogs. Overall could not recommend this place enough if you’re looking for a quiet getaway especially if you enjoy being on the water.

Kelli’s land truly exceeded my expectations. What stood out the most was how peaceful and spacious everything felt. The little house and the entire property have beautiful details that reflect so much love in every corner. Each outdoor space welcomed me with a deep sense of peace, connection to nature, and the silence I was looking for.
Kelli was incredibly kind and attentive, always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed and that we were comfortable. And the fresh eggs she brought us were absolutely delicious.

What an amazing experience. Hesitant to leave a review because this place is going to stay booked and I want to come back often! Best host ever, a frame was cozy and relaxed, great stargazing and fun for my 5 year olds first of camping experiences. We did kayaks, jumped on the trampoline, roasted marshmallows hot dogs and told campfire stories. Also had some great conversations with the host, great human.

Weekend Trip to Hidden Oak Hideaway Treehouse
My boyfriend and I stayed at Hidden Oak Hideaway on Halloween weekend this year, and it was magical! Jessica is an amazing host, and so responsive and helpful. The attention to detail in this place is unmatched, from the coffee/tea setup, to the fully stocked kitchen area, to the cozy bed with a fan included, Jessica put so much effort into making this place comfortable. The decor inside is beautiful and aesthetically appealing to say the least. It was a wonderful getaway and I would love to go back someday. Thanks again Jessica and Donny!

My family and I recently stayed at the tranquil A-Frame Cottage at Cypress Edge and LOVED it! The raving reviews are true, this place is a gem! From the wonderful hosts John and Patty, to the serene property, eclectic amenities, and thought out touches included in your stay at the cottage, we could not have been more pleased. Everyone was so nice, and the cottage was more than we could have hoped for and most certainly spoiled us for the weekend. We enjoyed the cold AC, ice maker, water machine, CLEAN cottage and bathroom, comfortable beds, fire pit and grill, chairs, hammock, seriously everything you need to make your stay easy, and enjoyable. I HIGHLY recommend this HIPCAMP property.

Super cute little vintage camper! Their assortment of trees are beautiful and you MUST get a bottle of the cherry juice that they offer! Definitely bring some gallons of water because the well water smells like eggs. The pool is refreshing and the quietness is super pleasant 🌴 🧘🏼♀️

Weekend Trip to J and P Creekside Retreat
I really enjoyed my stay at J & P Creekside. The cabin was awesome, very clean, and had all the amenities we needed. A proper shower would have been nice, but they did have an open shower, which worked fine.
The host, John, was very welcoming and made me feel like home. He went over and above to make sure everything was comfortable, which I really appreciated.
This time I came mainly for my son’s cross-country event, so I couldn’t explore or enjoy much of the activities around. Hopefully, when I visit again, I’ll definitely try kayaking and some of the other things I missed.
The stream by the cabin was beautiful and peaceful — overall, a very good experience, and I’d love to come back again.

Weekend Trip to N N Farms
We had a fantastic time staying at this lovely tony house as our base for a weekend of camping and adventures. We loved that we could enjoy the wilderness during the day and return to exactly what we needed to relax after a long day outdoors. A wonderful firepit and beautiful sunsets.
The property was clean, comfortable, and the host Kelli was easy to communicate with. Lots of privacy. We had a blast feeding the goats in the property. I would highly recommend staying here. I surely will be on my next trip to Arcadia!

We had a blast staying on John's property for my birthday weekend! The A-frame cabin comfortably fit my husband and I along with our 3 littles (11, 3 and 1). The outdoor shower was our favorite along with the docks for fishing. The property itself was absolutely beautiful, quiet and serene, and there was so much for us to do. We didn't get a chance to take out the kayaks and paddleboards but are hoping to come back in a few months if and when it cools down a bit. :)

The Everglades National Park
The Everglades holds the title of the largest subtropical wilderness in the United States. Given this size, campers have plenty to see across the park’s grasslands and forests. When to go
Before you go camping in South Florida, consider the weather, mosquitoes, and wildlife. Avoid coastal Florida during hurricane season, especially if you’re planning a getaway to the Florida Keys. Summer in the Everglades likewise brings bugs, whereas winter’s dry season opens the door for spotting wildlife. However, winter does come with crowds, especially in national parks and resort towns. Spring and fall make for the most neutral camping seasons.
