We had a awesome time. The first night was a little different that expected because there was a group partying until late but other than that it was perfect. Our second day we walked for about 2 hours and it felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. Other than fellow campers, we saw one employee temporarily for our entire stay. Highly recommend going back

Loved our tent-stay here! The setup is neat because the horses have a fenced path around the perimeter so they walked right by our sight every evening. Our 8 and 10 year old girls loved that. The location is amazing because you get that camping vibe but super close to the beach and all the things Englewood/Manasota Key have to offer. We had the best camper neighbor one site over who made our stay SUPERB!! We felt like we belonged here! There is a bathroom with a shower which suited all of our needs but it is shared by all campers so we did try to be courteous and not take up too much time in it.

This spot was exactly what we were looking for. The amenities were great, electric hookup, water, and a bathroom with a shower, which made the stay very comfortable.
The farm itself was adorable. The horses were beautiful, and we loved spotting a peacock wandering around the property. It was a short drive to the beaches, yet still far enough away to enjoy wonderfully dark skies for stargazing at night.
We also enjoyed having nighttime fires, with firewood conveniently available for purchase on-site. Overall, it was a perfect little getaway for my partner, our pets, and me. We’d absolutely stay again.

On top of being right next to the creek and a clean camp site, you don't get the typical 100 spot camp grounds vibe where you see the next 5 camp site next to you at site #2. Also the clothing optional is hella cool. 💁 lastly as a queer couple we get nervous camping in FL, but felt safe the entire stay here.

Where to go
Sarasota Area
Lido Key is one of Sarasota’s best beach areas, with a sprawling public stretch of sand and the South Lido Key Beach Park, where campers can go kayaking or paddleboarding through mangrove tunnels to spot manatee. Boat rentals and fishing charters are available throughout the area for anglers looking to land snook, snapper, grouper, and sea trout.
Siesta Key
To the south, Siesta Key has eight miles of sandy beaches to explore, plus Sarasota County’s public Turtle Beach Campground on Siesta Key, home to a number of tent sites with picnic tables beneath the palms. RV sites also come with full hookups, 50-amp power, and free wifi for RVers with big rigs. Between May and October, loggerhead and green sea turtles come to this beach to nest.

Myakka River State Park
Myakka River State Park is 37,000 acres of wild Florida pine forests, cypress domes, marshes, and prairie. Hit the hiking and mountain biking trails, or look out for the park’s biggest draw: its large population of American alligators. Get up close with a kayak rental or guided boat tour.
When to go
Sarasota’s winters are typically warm and mild, while summers are hot, humid, and rainy. Happy camping trips take place year-round, but summer visitors may want to opt for a pet-friendly cabin, an RV resort, or a campground with an air-conditioned clubhouse and good rain shelter. The Atlantic hurricane season runs from June through November, so campers planning trips along the Gulf Coast during this time should keep an eye on forecasts.
