Whatever your interest is - you can find it around - many of restaurants, wine tasting, fresh food market 7 days a week, NASCAR, Auditorium with performances, water sports, bike week, movie theater, and many more.  We have a water and electricity hook ups for 4 spots. Really great location close to the beach and grocery stores and restaurants, yet it is still in a quiet place just off the beaten path. Roxie is a wonderful host who met us upon arrival and departure to make sure all was going well. She even gave us some amazing fresh eggs from her chickens that roam freely on the land. (Be prepared for a lot of rooster crowing EARLY in the mornings). Our campsite was level and had water and electric. It was not too close to the other campers who were there and we had plenty of privacy. Star gazing was awesome! Highly recommend."

Camp Declan is many things rolled into one. First, it is a private six-acre hardwood forest with 400’ of shoreline on a fresh-water, all-purpose lake. So serene and pleasant, the host and resident doggy were great!! We had fun relaxing in this spacious site, the walk to convenience stores was super light and we appreciated the boat launch just across the street! I didn't realize exactly how close we'd be to a stunning dock for enjoying morning journaling or sunset paddling on the calm Lake Ida. We felt safe here, the neighborhood seemed welcoming and there were plenty of dogs to meet on our walks! Thanks again!

Excellent slice of Paradise ❤️ If you are traveling through Florida this is one of the most Beautiful amazing places you will find and you will have the place All to yourself! Julene treats you like family and the property is absolutely serine and peaceful so plan on sleeping in and maybe staying an extra day! We did! Our 40 ft Class A pulled right into the large level pad , plugged into 50 amp service with water hooked up and done! 5G cell T-Mobile i watched SEC football all Thanksgiving Weekend !!! Does it get better! Only the Moonlight through the Tall Pines on Julenes farm 😎 less than a mile off US1 this is the best kept secret in Florida 🤩 FIVE STARS!!!! Highly Recommend!!

We had a great stay at Jeff's place. It was a peaceful spot with plenty of wood for a fire. Jeff was very welcoming and friendly. Even gave us a information packet with things to do and important numbers which was very thoughtful. Next time we are passing through we will definitely stay there again.

There was no shortage of things to do on the property itself, but as other reviews have mentioned, there are plenty of nature activities all within short driving distance. Stayed 2 nights. Camping with tents. At the time of this review, there was a drought, so the river was extremely low. Property was very well kept, clean, and a great central location if you don’t want to be too far away from everything. Hopefully next time the rain has raised the river so we could do the full runs, up and down stream. The water was nice and cool, great for the warmer days we had in November. We will definitely be returning. Great site.

This is a great place for children and rv camping. Lots of toys, cars, and trucks for the kids to play with. The St. Mary's river borders the property and is accessible for wading, swimming, and fishing. The property itself is very nice with some secluded spots if you want to do some primitive tent camping. There are port-o-let style toilets with a sink and access to potable water.

Great location for a weekend camp. We were in a 23' TT and used the 30 amp service and water with no problems. CG is clean and stocked with toys to keep the grandkids busy. St Mary's was VERY low water. No paddling this weekend. Will definitely be back. Great job M ! Happy Campers

I truly enjoyed my second retreat at Whispering Oaks Lakeside Sanctuary. The landscape is picturesque. It's quiet, tranquil, scenic, and peaceful, making it a perfect escape. Each morning, I was treated to breathtaking sunrises over the pond, which made every day special. I loved watching two young deer arrive daily, gently drinking water and playfully frolicking around the pond, adding a touch of nature’s charm. I also had a wonderful time cooking a meal at the fire pit. Electricity was provided with an extension cord giving me the conveniences that I needed in the van. The availability of running water and a nearby trash receptacle made the stay even more comfortable. Interlachen, a charming small town, offered a few nearby essentials: a small grocery store called Hitchcock's, a Post Office, a General Dollar store, and a CVS. Overall, Whispering Oaks Lakeside Sanctuary is a truly delightful place to unwind and enjoy a peaceful retreat. Erica, the hostess, is delightful and knowledgeable. She can offer a variety of recommendations for things to do or places to dine nearby. I appreciated her hospitality.

Nice spot at the end of the road. Very quiet neighborhood, backing up to a large green space. Site is close to all that St. Augustine has to offer! Kindling and firewood all set up for easy use : ) Jeffrey responded quickly to every question and need.
