We have a nice little RV pad on the back of our coastal home. Situated on a little bayou that opens out into Choctawhatchee Bay. Crab Island is only a 10 minute boat ride away. You would have access to our small dock and there is a neighborhood boat ramp less than one hundred feet away. This is a great place for kayaks, wave runners, and small boats. If you don't have a boat, we can set up any kind of trip you want. We are all licensed captains and own multiple Crab Island businesses. So we can set up charters for you on the following boats: Sailing trip on a restored 1963 Pearson Ensign. Can accommodate up to 6 people. This is a classic sailboat that is easy to sail and easy to learn to sail. A restored 1966 Boston Whaler that is perfect for couples looking for a sunset cruise, etc. Can accommodate up to 6 people but it perfect for 2 -4. We can go to Crab Island, look for dolphins or find our own private island beach. Waverunner tours. We can take you on a guided wave runner tour looking for dolphins and private beaches. You will drive one wave runner while our licensed captain guided you on another one. Insurance does not allow us to rent these out solo but there are many good vendors in the area to do that. Inshore flats skiff targeting redfish and trout on light spinning gear and fly rods. This boat is best fished with no more than 3 people. Rates: $150 per hour for less than 3 hours $500 for half day (4 hours) $600 for 6 hours The neighborhood is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Fort Walton with large oaks and magnolias providing plenty of shade for bike riding and walking. Downtown Fort Walton with its shops and quaint restaurants is only a mile away. Didn't bring a bike, we have 2 you can use. During the summer, there are fireworks every Wednesday night that are viewable from this spot. The site comes with water/sewer and 30 Amp hookup. The sight can accommodate up to 43' for trailer and vehicle.

We have a nice little RV pad on the back of our coastal home. Situated on a little bayou that opens out into Choctawhatchee Bay. Crab Island is only a 10 minute boat ride away. You would have access to our small dock and there is a neighborhood boat ramp less than one hundred feet away. This is a great place for kayaks, wave runners, and small boats. If you don't have a boat, we can set up any kind of trip you want. We are all licensed captains and own multiple Crab Island businesses. So we can set up charters for you on the following boats: Sailing trip on a restored 1963 Pearson Ensign. Can accommodate up to 6 people. This is a classic sailboat that is easy to sail and easy to learn to sail. A restored 1966 Boston Whaler that is perfect for couples looking for a sunset cruise, etc. Can accommodate up to 6 people but it perfect for 2 -4. We can go to Crab Island, look for dolphins or find our own private island beach. Waverunner tours. We can take you on a guided wave runner tour looking for dolphins and private beaches. You will drive one wave runner while our licensed captain guided you on another one. Insurance does not allow us to rent these out solo but there are many good vendors in the area to do that. Inshore flats skiff targeting redfish and trout on light spinning gear and fly rods. This boat is best fished with no more than 3 people. Rates: $150 per hour for less than 3 hours $500 for half day (4 hours) $600 for 6 hours The neighborhood is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Fort Walton with large oaks and magnolias providing plenty of shade for bike riding and walking. Downtown Fort Walton with its shops and quaint restaurants is only a mile away. Didn't bring a bike, we have 2 you can use. During the summer, there are fireworks every Wednesday night that are viewable from this spot. The site comes with water/sewer and 30 Amp hookup. Had a great stay! We booked our stay out of a last minute change of plans due to the shutdown and we got approved right away, what a blessing. Great location which allowed us to enjoy the beaches around Navarre. Easy to find and quiet location and good communication with host. Would definitely stay again!

It rained early our first morning, and by evening the ground was dry and all the burnable material was dry. There's no mud around camp, only sand and leaves.

Weekend Trip to Bay Forest Retreat
The campground was beautiful! The facilities were clean and all trail paths were trimmed with no debris! They had plenty of fire would for sale and a cart to use to carry your camping gear into your site! The bridge was a little tricky to maneuver with your cart but after a couple trips we figured out how to make it work with the cart! Fortunately, we were the only campers in the primitive and glamper tent site but the 5 glamper and primitive sites seem too close together and would maybe be too much if all are fully booked and especially with all the open land they have that could be used to spread the sites out a little more so people have more privacy. The hosts were great and very attentive! Will certainly go back again soon!!!

We loved our experience. The yurt was clean, bed comfortable, and campsite quiet and perfect. We enjoyed walking to the sandbars and hiking the trail. The host communicated well- provided clear directions and checked in on us once we were settled in. We will definitely be back!

Very private. Where else can you have the whole camp to yourself? You park at the gate and go in to put your stuff on a table , running water, a plug in (we didn’t use). Put up your tent and relax in the chairs around the campfire.

Nice lot in a residental neighborhood in Navarre close to Navarre Beach. James the host, was very nice and helpful. Made me feel welcome and safe. Was very easy to park and hook up my RV to a full set up. We had a nice 1 night stay that was quiet and comfortable with our dogs. No issues or problems. Will reserve again in the future for sure. This campground has way more to offer than they advertise. It is a diamond in the rough. It is ocean front with a pool and a hot tub. They have a clubhouse with daily activities and programs and we even had a bowl of chili one night. It is quaint and their are long term as well as short term renters there. The bath house is small but clean. There is even a family bath which is good if you have kids with you. There is a dog park and play ground. It has alot to offer.

Site was exactly as described. Host was great! Briefly met me after I arrived to make sure everything was ok. This was the exact kind of place I was looking for. Something near the water with a site that was private enough to not feel like anyone was near by, but one that had quick access to a warm shower if desired. Bath house was clean and well taken care by the host and my neighboring campers. Made you want to take the extra 30 seconds to wipe things down before walking back to your site. I will definitely be returning.
