You can swim in our outdoor pool with a waterfall and decorative koi pond close by. The views of the lake are stunning. This is a parking area for two seperatly rented RVs or campers. Each space is approximately 15ft x 40ft, a 33ft plus pull behinds will need expert driver to back in. The electrical hookup is 50 amp. If you have 30 amp, you will need to bring your own adapter. The area is under two large Oak trees giving plenty of shade. Electric and Water hook up is available. NO DUMP STATION! Extra parking for one vehicle only. If you have a trailer, a pull car and a second car the space is very tight, but can work. Basically this is a large parking area for the main home. The main home has a separate drive and garage parking so renters there will not be using your RV space. Golf cart friendly area, Walking distance to waterfront restaurants, tour guides and public boat ramp. Check out my favorite site, Monkey Island! Stayed with Matthew for 3 nights. Would recommend. We had the full hookup site. Quiet site. Mathew was friendly and helpful, without being intrusive. Location was ideal for us, 55 minute drive to the Tampa Aquarium, 15 minutes to Fantasy of Flight, our weekend destinations.

Perfect little spot to spend the night. We walked to our manatee boat excursion the next morning and were back before checkout time. It’s right on the main road but the road is pretty much dead quiet at night. A decent amount of restaurants/bars in walking distance

Very nice setup. Close to the springs, restaurants and shopping if needed. Dock area is very nice. Comfy chairs and a table. The water is crystal clear so you can see all of the varieties of fish. Didn’t see any manatees at this spot as the weather is warming up. Kayaks and paddle boards are available and in good shape. The site itself is large with a nice table setup, solo fireplace and hookups. Site is level which is nice. Only met Alonda once as we pulled in but we had no issues so there was no need to bother her. The resident dog Jazzie, was friendly with my dog and she was very sweet. Excellent experience overall.

Loved every thing about this spot- serenity quiet & peaceful neighborhood, only a few steps to great paddling on the springs with a dock for our use, Homosassa River and manatees galore! Easy bike ride to Old Homasassa, close to grocery store, Walmart and great seafood market! Our host, Alonda was accessible and polite!

Great little campsite right in the middle of spring land in Florida. Super friendly hosts who are definitely present, but overly hands on. 100% would recommend to any of my friends and family looking to get off the beaten path but still be close to society.

Our campsite is private and nestled in what one camper described as "the Florida Jungle".

We had such a wonderful time at Kate’s campsite. Highlights: easy to find. Shore power was easy to hook up too. Fire wood available for a small fee. It felt private. The springs were absolutely amazing. We saw manatees ❤️. Please note they do not have a bathroom. We were camping in a small van, and used a portable toilet set up. The space was private enough that we felt comfortable using it outside the van and without a tent. I really hope we get to return to Kate’s space.

The, area was very quiet. We really enjoyed it. Felt very much like the Florida that you don’t see when you’re a tourist. Large trees, hanging moss lots of foliage. The lot was level, had everything for hookups. Remember to bring your 50 to 30 amp reducer. The water was clear, we used the kayak and went for a beautiful day on the water.

We had an amazing weekend at this Hipcamp. Kate was the absolute best—super communicative and helpful from start to finish. The site was exactly as expected: private, jungle-like, and a great place to unwind. We had fun exploring the property and finding Pepper Trail, which was a nice bonus. The highlight of the trip was kayaking with the manatees—an unforgettable experience. One note for RVers: if your rig (or Travel Trailer) is longer than 25 feet, you may need to back in from the road. Our truck couldn’t quite make the turn, but backing in was easy and not an issue at all. Overall, a fantastic stay. We’d absolutely come back again.

Weekend Trip to Homosassa Springs RV Site

The hosts created a peaceful HipCamp experience. The site was level and fairly secluded. We had access to the dock where I was able to have my morning coffee and just chill. The site is just minutes away from the State Park with Manatee viewings and a nice walking trail. There are also several bike trails all within 30 minutes (would recommend the Withlacoochee Trail just north of Crystal Springs - paved with areas to stop and picnic).

Stayed one night and everything was perfect. Easy to find and good locaton. We walked in the evening to the marina and ate at the Monkey bar overlooking monkey island which we really enjoyed. The next morning we had an airboar ride with River Safaris which is next door and saw Dolphins and other wildlife. We had a great stay at Charles place and Homosassa. Would highly recommend.

Nice, quiet, secluded level spot around the house with sewer, electric and city water hookup, surrounded by lots of vegetation. Beautiful, screened in pool/outdoor kitchen area shared with 1 other site and an AirBnB. Host was very friendly and accommodating. So was the chicken that roamed freely.
