River Ranch has a direct outlet to the Kissimmee River which is known for some of the best bass fishing in Florida and where many tournaments are held. U.S. Skeet and Shoot World competitions were also held at River Ranch.
Perhaps the best known fact about River Ranch is that it holds the record for the longest operating rodeo in Florida. Many local and national champions perform here on a weekly basis. Thank you John and family for an amazing trip! You can see from the property’s attention to detail how much they care to provide an excellent experience! The cabin is stunning! It has everything you need! The beds are super comfortable! The firepit was beautifully set up. The bathroom was clean and the outdoor shower was great! The girls had a great time on the trampoline, swings, and playing with the pups. The sunset boat trip was such a treat! Please just go and experience it for yourself!

This was a nice quiet spot for tent camping! The basic amenities are covered with 2 chairs, firepit, and picnic table. There is a bathroom and running water, but it is a few minute walking distance across the property. Overall great spot for an overnight stay!

The place was very nicely situated, the campsite was spacious, private, with a fire pit, chairs and a picnic table. Even had an electrical cord to charge up my bluetti. With that said, the bathrooms are a bit of a walk thru the darkness , while lit … for this northerner who’s seen many signs about bears, panthers, poisoned snakes and spiders … it was a bit nerve racking for me, but that’s just me perhaps. Overall a pleasant place, where I slept well.

We tent camped at the hideaway, perfect spot, heard some animas from the neighbors next door (camels, donkeys, birds) totally worth it. The boat ride JJ gave use was awesome, we saw several gators. The views can only be experienced in person, pictures won’t do you justice. Highly recommend J&P Creekside Retreat, the hosts (John, Patty, and JJ) were like family and were there for anything you needed. Town was about 10 minutes away for any extras you might need to pick up, otherwise the showers were warm and the bathroom was clean. 10/10
