Very nice spot, easy to find and a comfortable place to stay. Less then an hour from cape canaveral and cocoa beach! Very little traffic noise 👍🏻 would stay again!

We came out for our 1 year anniversary and had a blast! Huge fish! A zip line. Nice screened in area with chairs and a porte potty. We went adventuring in the woods which we love to do! We will definitely be back here! Sandy was the perfect host and answered all the questions we had and could recommend great places to check out!!! Thank you for the hospitality!! Almost forgot, perfectly private! 😁

There aren't words enough to explain the amazing vibe of this place.....just book a site. We recommend the Tikka masala add on. Beautifully done 4 course meal, fine dinning meal in a laid back casual setting with one of a kind hosts! Kudos Christina and Kennedy can't wait to return for a 3 retreat!

Weekend Trip to Sandy's Swamp land in Florida

We had a wonderful time camping in the woods. There were 4 of us, two of us have not slept in tents in decades. During our entire stay, we did not run into any other campers. In the morning we even used the canoe to see some of the birds and scenery in the area. Over all we had an even greater time than anticipated. One of the best features was how secluded the area felt.

Very invite and cool place making you feel like you are out in the wild being so close to anything you need. Host Julie was super nice and helpful. Would recommend for a night or weekend stay.

Sandy was very accommodating. When we arrived she did a great job showing us around so we knew where everything was. We enjoyed camping here. It was quiet and had all the amenities we were looking for. We did a short weekend getaway. We would come back again.

Craig was such a wonderful host, he told us about a rocket lauch to see from the streat and a few other remarkable things. The place is equipped with 30/50 amp., water and sewer. And a very good italien restaurant around the corner 👍😄 Absolutely great, thanks to Graig and Lauren. Highly recommended.

I loved this hipcamp so much. It is very close to the north entrance into Merritt Island Wildlife Preserve. So much to do around that area. I travel in a Ford Transit van and I had my little area of the yard with picnic table and fire ring.

We will definitely be coming back to explore. Oh my goodness. My partner and I have been disheartened with the state of the world and working multiple jobs and moving and my daughter and I have been having health issues. So we just really needed some rest and mental peace. Kennedy was such a sweet awesome human and the space was everything anticipated. Nothing like a naked nap by the water ✌️ 🤤

What a peaceful splendid place to escape the day to day craziness. Sandy’s little paradise is nothing short of a paradise Walked around the property up and down the road Sandy herself was timely and very pleasant she gave us a tour of the property as well as her dome building. I will 100% be coming back to this location again probably when the weather cools off again.

We had a beautiful spot overlooking the Indian River and directly across from Kennedy Space Center. We got to see a satellite launch and we’re visited by dolphins while enjoying our coffee on the dock. David was very accommodating without being intrusive and provided access to an indoor bathroom with hot shower. This site was a little hard to locate so get there before dark. Individual sites were not really marked but wasn’t a problem as we were the only ones there

2 nights at Sandy's Swamp land in Florida

100% stay here! It is off the beaten path, tranquil, stunningly beautiful, safe, and fun as well! I enjoyed canoeing around the swamp, zip lining, a campfire, eating breakfast on the ropes course platform amongst the trees and spirits, doing yoga on the floaty boat/dock, and walking the trails looking at all the gorgeous flora. Sandy was attentive, so very helpful, and also gave solitude and privacy. Such a gem for back woods camping. Loved it and will be back. Oh… and do eat at the line cabbage at sunset.

It was populated by hardy, adventurous folks who made a way for themselves and their families by clearing a spot along the lagoon, building a home and forging a life in a new location. But Shiloh is now lost, literally removed from the maps. It no longer exists. When NASA needed a perimeter zone for the newly emerging space program in the 1950s, the federal government purchased large swaths of land between Oak Hill and Titusville, FL. Residents were bought out and forced to move. Houses were relocated or demolished. Shiloh disappeared into history while the space-age pushed forward into the future. However... some foundations still can be found in the woods not far away, if you know where to look. There are even cemeteries that remain, whispering the names of individuals and families. As a tribute to those early adventurers, we have named our place Camp Shiloh. We honor the past, we respect the wild Florida that surrounds us, and we celebrate the future as we watch rocket launches from our porch.
