Weekend Trip to Shady Acres RV Retreat

We loved our stay at Shady Acres! We were able to find a spot with full hookups. Our dog loved spending time off leash, making friends with the other dogs and getting spoiled by the other guests. The kids will keep the memory of meeting Louie (the horse), the peacocks and cows all their lives. We visited the Lion Country Safari nearby and enjoyed it immensely!! To be clear, this is not a campground. It is definitely land they have cleared and added amenities. Do not expect bathouses, restrooms, paved sites etc. but if you are looking for a bit more of a rustic stay this is definitely your place!!

Nice property. Water had a very strong sulfur smell but was addressed by owners quickly. Multiple sites with ample room. Overall it was a great site and we would recommend to others.
