The farm you’re camping on is one of the last family farms remaining in Columbia County and is named Glenn Farm after DV Glenn who married Hettie Lou Niblack in the 1930’s. Over the last 150 years it has been farmed by some of the county’s oldest families such as the Niblack and Ellis families. When DV Glenn came to Florida from his farm in Cairo, GA he took over the portion of the Niblack farm that was inherited by his wife Hettie Lou. At that time he was running native Florida cattle on over 6000 acres. Unfortunately, In 1951 he was killed in a hunting accident leaving his wife with the farm and 4 children (ages 4-11). In order to survive, Hettie Lou Niblack Glenn was forced to sell 5000 acres at $25 an acre. Holding a bachelors degree from Florida State College for Women, she was able to secure a job at the University of Florida as a secretary and with the money from the land sale she was able to raise her four children. Of the original farm, 600 acres remain intact and the Glenn family is trying to keep the farm as an agricultural operation. Your campsite is 1 of 4 spots (Arrowhead Sink, Dunagan’s Meadow, North Hall Pasture or Magnolia Sink). We also have a 1 bedroom Tiny home that used to be the farm office. Dunagan’s meadow is a pasture behind the old farmhouse (built in 1824), Magnolia sink and The North Hall Pasture are also on the main farm while Arrowhead Sink is on the edge of a hayfield about a mile down a dirt road. Glenn Farm is a place to come relax and experience a world that is rapidly disappearing. It is not a commercial campground.

Frank Page purchased the Suwannee River Rendezvous Resort & Campground in 2008 which included the original seven acres of the lower portion of the Rendezvous. At that time there were only a few buildings and the primitive campground area. Frank started cleaning the area and stabilizing all the buildings. In 2009 another 20 acres was purchased, which is now considered the upper area of the Rendezvous. In 2010, another seven acres were added to the property. Frank planned and constructed the Upper Rendezvous area which was completed in 2012 and added 136 RV sites as well as the dog park, barn and pigeon coop. The dog park has five sections, for both small and large dogs, with ample room to run.
Suwannee River Rendezvous Resort & Campground Pool
Frank began raising pigeons in 2012. The first pigeons purchased were homing pigeons, which started the Pigeon Races that are still a fun, family favorite event on Saturday afternoons. Frank also bought and started raising other pigeons, the Birmingham Roller. Birmingham Rollers are a very popular breed of domesticated pigeons that originated in Birmingham, England, where they were developed via selective breeding for their ability to do rapid backward somersaults while flying. You can often see them flying around the Upper Rendezvous in the mornings and afternoons. These pigeons are used for our weekly Pigeon Races.

We are a small 50 acre ranch in the panhandle of Florida. Most of our property is pasture. Our mile-long driveway is lined with Oak Trees. We also have a few acres of Mayhaw trees in a seasonal pond. We raise Miniature Tennessee Fainting Goats to sell as family pets. We pasture a half dozen sheep for wool, live with several Peafowl for beauty and entertainment, and a couple dozen Guinee Fowl for pest control and more entertainment. A hundred and twenty-five chickens supply us with plenty of eggs. A dozen ducks offer up a few eggs a day as well. You can pet the goats and Baboy, our Potbellied pig. Walking in the pastures offers a glimpse at the local variety of flowers, birds, and insect life. Stay away from the dozen bee hives we watch over. This is a very quiet and welcoming place. We do have three Great Pyrenees gradian dogs roaming the property at night. They are mostly quiet but can occasionally spend a bit of the night barking and chasing predictors. Coyotes, foxes, and raccoons are better just off the property.
Hang out, relax, read, and feed the goats. Monticello has some great restaurants, antique shops, a well-equipped sporting goods store, and a hardware store.
If you are a cyclist, there are hundreds of miles of clay roads through the North Florida and South Georgia countryside. There are very few cars and lots of views. We have some routes to share. The clear-water spring-fed Wacissa River is nearby. Bring your own canoe or kayak, or rent one from one of the businesses at the head of the river. The Aucilla River is also nearby. Both are world-class trips. We can offer advice and guide services.

Our camping experience was awesome. Patrick’s Dad Pat met us at the entrance to the property and led us to a beautiful secluded spot. He also drove me around property to get me acquainted to the many acres available for walks. The property was extremely well maintained. It was renewing to have such a quiet property to enjoy walks, fishing (if interested) and star gazing. Everything as far as hookups was easy and we so enjoyed listening to birds, reading and relaxing. No cell service or WiFi but you will not miss it if you want to enjoy nature and solitude. We definitely would return for future visits.

This cabin is spacious, warm and safe. We were in need of a place to stay. Stacey has many different options to pick from rent and RV spots to even a pioneer campsite. Now that's rad. We were also provided firewood that we were not charged for because it was raining. Stacey is a great host.

The host was super friendly, greeted me once I pulled up and showed me to my site. There is a clean restroom with sink for use, though it is a compost/pump your own water situation, it’s private and easy to get to.
There were plenty of birds to sky watch, saw a baby deer and a cute wondering doggo. My first night here I was informed there was a meteor shower by the host, it was a happy coincidence! The sky was super clear and looked like magic.
Sunset and sun rises are beautiful. Though it gets cold in the winter so be sure to pack accordingly. I wore 3 pants and two jackets to bed along with 4 blankets and was pretty comfy. But any less and I’d be too cold to sleep lol
Felt very secluded, though you can see a few cars coming and going on the road, no one was raving engines and it was far from constant flow. Maybe a car or two in the morning and evenings. Can’t hear any sirens horns or the other stuff that’s common in cities.

Cute little spot, I would come back to stay for longer. Feels like very much in the sticks for only 30mins from ev charging haha. Nice for a 3 piece family like us, we even met a friendly dog there too. Really like the shower house.

We just spent a few nights at Dunigan’s Meadow, hosted by Judy and her son, Tom — two of the kindest, most genuine people you’ll meet. Their hospitality made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. The property is absolutely beautiful — rolling pastureland with cows, sheep, and three adorable donkeys roaming freely. We loved that they welcomed all three of our dogs with open arms. Judy even let us drive into the pasture so the dogs could chase racquetballs while the cows watched.
The cottage itself is small and simple, not luxury by any means — but it’s clean, cozy, and has so much heart. The bed is incredibly comfortable, and the little touches — like the vase of fresh sunflowers from Judy’s garden — really made it feel special. This isn’t a polished, modern stay; it’s a real cottage on a working farm, and that’s exactly what we loved about it. We didn’t have to tiptoe around fancy furniture or worry about the dogs.
Every morning we stepped outside into misty fields and watched the fog roll over the pasture. There’s even a natural sinkhole filled with water that adds to the peaceful scenery. Dunagun’s Meadow is one of those rare places that resets your spirit — simple, authentic, and deeply grounding. If you love nature, animals, and genuine people, this place will feed your soul.

Great cabin on Ms Judy’s farm. Very private and lots of land to roam, with a good number of cows, sheep and a few goats that are friendly to people. No complaints, exactly what we needed for a quiet get away.

Definitely will be back again!! Patrick met us and helped us get all setup and made sure everything was good before leaving. Had the best time, so peaceful and private. Never left the site. Caught small bass and beautiful bream. Seen deer and lots of ducks. If you are looking for a restful and private retreat then this is the spot for sure!!

Weekend Trip to Glenn Farm
We loved staying at this Farm for our short stay. We stayed in the cottage for one night, and it was cute and had plenty of privacy. The friendly farm animals were surely the highlights of our short stay. The mornings were stunning with the fog over the meadows. The camp hosts were great, and Tom gave us a tour around the huge property.

Directly on the river with a beautiful view. Secluded and private. Loads of available amenities like games and workout equipment. Be sure to bring everything you need as all of the stores are a significant distance. 🙂 it’s centrally located to many beautiful springs. The hosts are great with quick response time.
