This location is close to the head springs and Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park where you can discover the wild side of Florida with endangered Florida panther, red wolf, manatee and whooping crane, plus black bear, bobcat and, of course, alligator. The site is located 150 ft from the dock on our private residential property at the head of the springs, the dock is not visible from the site you do have to walk down to the dock area. This is a residential area and is very quiet. You can see the layout of the property in the photos from an aerial view as well as other photos of the setup. This listing is for the SITE ONLY. Setup your own RV under the shade then enjoy our shared dock into the Homosassa springs for a refreshing dip or paddle. Weekend Trip to The River Inn RV

Mike and his wife were wonderful hosts. They were kind and hospitable. Their property is right on the water, and very peaceful. They have a lovely shaded area where we were able to enjoy meals and coffee looking out on the water. We were able to kayak out to Monkey Island with our kids and a few other scenic locations. Hunter Springs was only a short car ride away, so we were able to visit there as well. Our stay was relaxing and memorable, we absolutely recommend this spot and would love to go back and visit the many other attractions there.

This site was conveniently located to explore so many Crystal River attractions. Lee and her husband were super accommodating, and the communication was great. Their beautiful dog is spectacularly well behaved. The dirt road approach is a bit bumpy for a travel trailer, so take it slow. We did visit during no-see-um season, so we didn't spend a lot of time outside our rig while onsite.
